Hi, good review on the Nissan e-power kicks. However, there are 2 items you mentioned that are questionable. 1. All Nissan vehicles with the "e-power" badge has a drivetrain that is 100% electric. There is no transmission onboard. Only a high output electric motor. 2. Testing the vehicle from 0-100Kms on ECO mode is not a good test to determine how fast the vehicle is. ECO mode limits the acceleration of the vehicle by the reducing the output from the battery. I am speaking as a person who owns an "e-power" vehicle.
Yes I corrected the transmission part in the title and in the comments. I tested it in eco mode to prevent excessive wheel spin causing Traction control to kick in which happened in normal mode.
Alright, well that makes sense as I had experienced that same issue with tracation control when I slammed the X to accelerate. Anyways keep up the good work with the car reviews!!!!
Great review. The Kick is the same class of the Hyundai Venue. The seatbelt lights are to remind you to put on your seatbelt. The handle above the door is to assist in getting out of the vehicle. Doesn't this have a 1.2L engine? The vibration/pulling-you-back are programmable. Features are thanks to the tech in Nissan Leaf all-electric
No spare tyre is not okay... it's never gonna be okay. I wish every car reviewer would rant violently about this because it's not acceptable at all. For regular people who take long family road trips it's really not cool. I had an uncle who came to visit me at Christmas. He was driving a Honda Fit hybrid - the tyre got destroyed when he was about 70km away. He had to abandon the car for the night, make it to my town and then run around the next morning in a new town trying to buy a new tyre - without his own car to drive around doing that. Cars aren't smartphones where you can just remove things and expect users to just "get used to it!" It's wrong - vi mean they can't even put in a space saver? It's ridiculous!!!
Great video! I think for us in Trinidad the heated steering wheel might come in handy for driving at night with the AC on high. If your fingers stiffen up a bit due to feeling cold, that would definitely help to alleviate the problem.
Maybe i can hello you with the purpose of the rear seat belt lights. I have been in cars where the seat belt "siren' is going off and it's difficult to pinpoint the cause. The lights could help troubleshoot whether the seatbelt was plugged in to the wrong socket, whether it's something on part of the back seat that's triggering the sensor, or maybe whether it's caused by someone "spilling over" into two seat zones. Just my ideas.
5' 9" on a good day 5' 8" on most days 😅 does it depend on the temperature of the day? 😆 not sure if I'll ever get used to this "No spare tyre Repair kit" thing. Great review as always and very informative. Seems like a nice vehicle to get for wifey 🤔
Tell me something, Trinidad doesnt have a Nissan. Dealer? How come you guys get JDM models? On the vehicle itself, that trunk space is a disgrace for something that big(the Vitara does more with less) that gap from the floor to the top of the seat is just comically high because they didnt give you the load shelf to get the flat floor. Also you cant rest items on the load cover as suggested, that will damage it because its a thin plastic. The importer was also lazy in the headunit installation because they could have swapped out the usb from the headunit for the charging lead because thats how it works in other markets. Those covers for the isofix top tethers is just stupid and wastes time when you need to install a car seat. I will say this in its favor, it gets a more sensible engine than the 1.2L NA engine other markets get.
Correction on the transmission type. It's a direct drive system with NO CVT transmission.
why do you have it on eco mode. you need to put it on sport mode
Note all the way, have my Note 7 weeks now and loving it 😊
Never buy a vehicle for looks ,are parts available ? Can you afford to repair it ? Can anyone local fix it ?

@@REVTTturn off the traction control. Most vehicles have a button but some fancy ones use a setting in the instrument cluster or headunit
With regards to the engine, the e power note and kicks comes with the 1.2L HR12DE 3 cylinder.

By the time I'm ready to get a car (2 years) I'm thinking about the 2023 version of this... hopefully u got a review out by then lol
Lol yes I most definitely will.

Why would you put your seat all the way back if you are only 5’8” or 5’9” on a good day?
Please do the Toyota yaris cross, looking to buy one from millennium self just now and I'd ❤ to see your review 😊
When you get an opportunity, can you do the new X Trail.. 👐🏾👐🏾

Very hilarious and informative.
Been waiting for this...but between this and the note e power?
ent some modes come with like leather options and thing
Serious question - What you people who say "CVT Transmission" think the "T" in "CVT" stands for ?
Continuous Variable Transmission or CVT for short. We say CVT Transmission because CV Transmission makes no sense.
@@REVTT oh, my bad ... "Continuously Variable Transmission Transmission" makes all the sense. Take win on this 🙄
I was informed that production was stopped on these this year how would that affect current owners of this model
Production was not stopped. It was stopped for the India market not globally
Will you ever get your hands on a Nissan note E. power Nismo
I don't think I've ever seen one imported into Trinidad
@@REVTT thanks

Nice review, but if the engine is just a generator, then it would not have any transmission.
Correct, it doesn't. Only the electric motor drives the vehicle
Can you do the Nissan Note Aura ePower
As soon as I get my hands on one. Ive been trying.
our kicks does a hundred in 7 1/2
I am not a fan of Nissan, but i like that new Nissan Note 🎉
I have mine 2 months now... it's a wonderful car.
