@JustADad. Thanks for your very thorough review. I've been researching nugget ice makers, and finally decided on this one. From your reviews on coffee makers to ice makers and everything in between, Keep up the GREAT work !
If you push the ice towards the display window & gently push the bucket back in, you can get it to completely fill the bucket. In other words you’re moving it from the sensor. I purchased a distiller to use the recommended distilled water. My machine stays clean.
It's not built to allow for that, which is a shame. However, see the auto fill kits online and it's probably doable with some creativity. Once the ice drawer is full, the machine hybernates, so there's no risk of it making more ice than it can hold. The auto fill kits have a float valve that just adds water to a reservoir as needed. There may be someone on YT who's tried an auto fill kit with these ice makers. Best of luck.
Just got mine today. Cleaned it with a tablespoon of clorox mixed with water and then flushed it 4 times. Washed the tub. Not using the side container yet. Filled water to the water line. Started making ice immediately, then after maybe 5-10 minutes it start dripping/leaking water into the tub with ice in it. Is it suppose to do this? Will it do this everytime? Anyone else have this issue? Did I get a lemon? I'd appreciate any comments of what it could be and what resolved it. Thank you. Scott

I’ve wondered if these were good. Thanks for the review.
No problem 👍
Buying one tomorrow!!! Great review!!
Thank you for your wonderful message.
This ice 🧊 maker is awesome.. I got it for my lady and I’m loving it 😂
Is it better to use distilled water?
I drain mine into a bowl bc it’s too heavy for me to bring to the sink! Costco has it on sale and they have the best warranty!
Thanks great review
Glad it was helpful!
Do you have to change the water every 24 hours like the Frigidaire model?
How many milliliters is the water reservoir?
Why can’t they make it where it keeps the ice frozen and doesn’t melt
I agree
Hello, is your ice maker still working well?
yes
Thank you. I love my new machine but am very concerned about the mold reviews Ive seen.
Can you just run a refrigerator water line to it?

I heard some horror stories about black mold forming in areas inaccessible to cleaning? Have u had any problems with that ?🤔
I have too, I need to look into this,
I heard that too, but was on previous model. I heard this model, they fixed the issue
Just ordered one in June 2024.
I'm gonna need a bigger kitchen!
LOL, I know these appliances are so big now
