Thanks a Lot!
I recommend that you check out a lot of different youtubers that make edited video essays and stuff and just learn from their videos. If you find a cool edit, then try remaking that into your own video or shorts.
If you are doing scripted content, then make sure your script flows well throughout (i.e. the script should be structured) as it will dictate the video's pace.
Don't try to do overedit the videos (that can definitely happen). But yeah, just learn from other youtubers' videos'.
