I saw this guy perform like a month before covid went kaboom. God he was amazing and tbh he fit Evan perfectly. He felt very timid and fit the anxious role so damn well.
Saw him a few days ago. I was blown away by his performance. I was 5 rows back so I could see his emotion so clearly. In case anyone is wondering Gaten was also very good. I am not sure he was better than Will Rowland but he was right up there and had a great voice to go with it. The entire current cast was all amazing. The new Zoe has a great voice as well and gave an amazing performance as well. And the actress playing Evan's Mother was awesome. She reminded me a lot of Rachel Bay Jones. My son actually thought it was her. Lol.
I prefer the Evans singing this song without a chorus to overpower them BUT I get that that’s the songwriter purposely had the chorus people in the song to make it almost impossible to hear Evan who is crying for help but yet having anxiety about people noticing his flaws and mistakes
A lot of Asian dudes got sticky-uppy hair that makes us look like we're balding when the light hits it a certain angle.
