Hi loveee 💕 thank you so much for watching 😍💕 I started out with reallly dark hair aswell the only thing I would say is you really need a lot of patience Babe 😭 it took me soo many sessions to get it this light but since you have never colored it before your hair would lift faster and not get as damaged as previously colored hair, it’s all trial and error but if your determined have fun and do it 💕 if you have any questions feel free to ask I’m here for you sis

You did a great job the chrome color is my favorite now!!! Cosmetology tip! If you have a developer that is one level difference add a table spoon of water to the mixture to dilute it down 1/2-whole volume. 💕💕

Hey girl, i’ve dyed my hair grey before with manic panic but just saw this video and I’m obsessed with the color you got! I’m new to this and was wondering what ratio of developer you used? Sorry ik you kinda eyeballed it in the video but if you could give me an estimate that would be really helpful. Also did you use both tubes of dye that you were holding up? I have semi thick hair that goes just below my shoulders so I would probably want to do two full tubes. Thanks!💕💕
Heyyyy babbbby! For the bleach & developer ratio I would say 1 part bleach to two parts developer or even just 1.5 part developer ❤️ although I like to eyeball the bleach to developer ratio because you just don’t want a runny consistency. If you notice it too runny just add a little more bleach I hope this helps boo ❤️ for the color I used both of them but I have really short hair, for thick hair I’d say use 3-4 hope you have fun with this 💕

Heyyy girl ❤️😍 don’t think I forgot ! I’ve made the video but soo much has been going on in the world rn that I hadn’t made the time to edit my bleaching video but I’m working on editing it tonight 😊❤️ it should be up this week💕 my roots 1-2 times because it lifts fast since it’s virgin hair, the bottom I had been working on for a whole year! session after session since I had so many colors underneath getting that to blonde was tough but it definitely took time and persistence 😭 to tone I honestly prefer to just use purple shampoo instead of a toner but I tone with anything that has a blue/violate base like the chrome color, t18 or t50 by wella with a 5 or 10 vol developer on damp hair for about 5 min. 😊
Love it! I just ordered this color lol but now after watching your video I'm thinking 2 tubes is not gonna be enough for me lol my hair goes half way down my back. Did it completely fade out? Or did it leave a tint? My hair is super light right now.
Awwwww Lol yes 3 or 4 would probably be better for you 😊 it lasted about 3 washes before it started changing back to blonde lol I just don’t really wash my hair to many times a week, prob like 1-2 times ❤️

Awww hey boo! I wish it was easier too ! Honestly it just takes a whole lot of patience and flaunting the stages boo 😭💕 everyone’s hair lifts differently from its texture, thickness, hair history the only thing I can really advice you on to get even results is just make sure you take it section by section and make sure it’s all completely saturated I hope this helps a bit love 💕😭

Awww you can give it a go boo but just make sure to only apply it on the orange sections you don’t have to overlap to the top closest to the roots ! The prism lights bleach honestly just lifts like a regular bleach but it will work to lift the orange spots your almost there ❤️

Awww thank you for watching and dropping this cute comment ❤️ So, this color itself didn’t last too long I tried to only wash it 1-2 times a week but everything I felt kept stripping the color out including adding heat to it when I straightened it or curled it although I just tried out the ion Semi color permanent line and I noticed it lasted longer than the new “permanent” shade in chrome and it’s supper healthier for your hair since you don’t use developer. Hope this helps 😊❤️

wait so do we have to add a developer to the hair dye, i thought you just apply the color directly on your hair .... i’m so confused 😭
Yes if it’s a permanent hair dye or a Demi permanent you have to use a developer with it but if it’s a semi- permanent that’s a direct dye so you don’t need to use any developer with that. Before I started doing hair I thought the same thing and I learned from my own mistakes then eventually learned at beauty school on the dos and donts. Lol Make sure to check the color you buy so that your buying the proper developer for it or not if it’s a semi I hope this helps 💕☺️❤️

Hi there! So I’ve been doing my hair silver for about 11 years now and I always pay like 300 when I get my hair done so I’m trying to save some money lol. Do you think this would work on pre-lightened baby lights?
Your hair is so pretty!! I want to get to this too, but I’m so scared to bleach my hair again. I’ve bleached it twice already (on virgin hair) and my hair is currently mixed with a level 8-9 (I have some brassy/lighter orange sections but then some very light blonde sections as well) so idk if I should bleach it again or if I should just go ahead with the dye.🥺 Do you have any suggestions?
Awwww thank you my love !! 😍 thank you for this lovely comment 💕 I would probably try to tone my hair first to create a more even canvas then attempt applying the hair color all over or if your kinda iffy attempt applying the color on a strand that has a mix of both shades and see what tone you get ❤️😊 if you like it I would do it all over or just tone it then attempt it. If you didn’t get a shade you like I would apply lightner only on the level 8 sections with a ten vol developer just to slightly lift to a 9 💕 hope this helps 💕❤️🥰

What happens if you use a 30 developer instead of 10 when you mixed the dye? Instead of a dark gray, would it turn into a really light gray?
Hi Love!!! So, using a 30 volume developer would honestly just damage your hair more than it should when your applying a color to only deposit color. so basically a 30 or 20 volume developer is intended to be used when you want to lift color(bleaching or root touchups). If you already have light hair try only using a 5 or 10 even just using a semi permanent color so that your hair can love you back while looking cute lol The darkness of the grey depends on the shade that you choose, This one comes out dark even on my platinum hair but if you choose titanium or i belive its called something like silver streak from the ION brand you should achieve a more subtle shade of grey ! If you apply it all over because it’s a permanent color the developer will brighten your roots (virgin hair) and you might get all different shades leading up to the ombré 😭 unless you use a 5developer❤️ ty soo much for your question I think this will help a lot of ppl 💕❤️

If your hair blonde but the top of your head is dark brown. Can It be a different shade on the top from the bottom? I want it to be a different shade but not a ugly color.
5 Of Hopes .-. If you only apply the color to your blonde you should be fine but if you apply it all over the brown shouldn’t really change color it will just hep it have a cool shade of brown

I’ve noticed my ion creams appear pink after they oxidize or age in the tube.
This happens regardless of the color and doesn’t seem to have an effect on the outcome (on me).

Hey girl question ive been trying so hard to dye my hair this color I have virgin blonde hair . The first time I tried it with the adore hair dye and it didn’t take. Do you think I would need to bleach my whole hair so that the dye would stick?
Hey boo!! ❤️ I tried adore and It didn’t work on my hair either it wasn’t taking 😭 try ion color brilliance or the Aragon oil line from Sally’s if you can I personally found these to work best on my hair but if you do feel like you need to bleach all of it use a 10 vol developer and don’t leave it on for a long time so it doesn’t damage your hair as much and you get great results! I hope this helps 😊❤️

After bleaching are you applying a toner before the hair color like T50 or T18? or just using a purple shampoo? Also if im a level 8 do you think I should still bleach my hair to get to level 9-10 or should I just bleach my roots because they need to be lightened since they are darker. Please help! :)
I only used the purple shampoo as my toner, I double washed so first I washed the bleach out with tea tree shampoo and then I washed again with the purple shampoo but let it sit for 5ish min and then blow dried and applied the color 😊 the only thing is sometimes a level 8 will give you greenish tones but you should test strand on piece and see the result before applying it all over then if you feel you have to lighten it a bit more I’d lighten it using just a ten volume developer to get a litttle lift instead of using a 20/30, I hope this helps ❤️😊

I know T18 is more for yellow and my hair tends to pull orange..especially after I do my roots. did you use 30 vol on your roots or 20? Hiii 💕 I believe it just depends on your level of blonde love. When I had a level 8 blonde my hair wouldn’t take like it does now. My hair rn is around level 10 it’s really light so it takes the color darker I hope this makes sense lol 💕

Hey ! Honestly it probably took about 5 sessions before I became this light 😭💕 in this video I just touch up my roots but my hair is coming from being reallly really dark ! It just takes a lot of time patience and dedication 😭💕 if you really want platinum hair you have to be patient with the stages ❤️

Do I use the whole color tube ? And how much of developer do I use my hair is short and a bit long like yours
If you have short hair I’d use two tubes to be safe, color brilliance is a 1:1 ration so I believe every tube is like 2-3 ounces I don’t remember lol but if it’s 2 ounces you’ll have to use 2ounces of developer per tube aswell

Hello me from the past. Use a better bleach (now i use Guy tangs big 9) and then use wella t14 (NOT t18).
So if my hair is like your blonde level I don't need to use a toner before I use the chrome?
Yesss it’s definitely better so you get a more even color or you can wing it like me 🤪 the only thing is that sometimes it can turn greenish that’s why it’s better to tone first but I just take the easy way and pray to the hair gods and they been coming through girl 😭😂😂😂💕❤️
would I need to use a toner after I bleach my hair and before putting the color in?
If you feel your hair is a bit brassy I would do it so that it creates more of an even canvas and once you apply the hair color it will be more even of a color and it would grab better pigment but if you don’t think you have to much brass ones I would just add the color hope this helps 💕🥰

I would use either one but previously when I was this blonde I was using purple shampoo I def loved it Babi feel like it always left my hair so pretty and platinum with no brass 💕 I was using the generic brand by Sally’s and honestly I loveeee it sooo much it still left my hair and scalp hydrated and May fave platinum and grey 😊 I’ve tried other brands and they literally dried my hair out and made my scalp so itchy 😭 but the generic brand from Sally’s did it for me ❤️😊

Hey ! Honestly you can but I wouldn’t use 40 volume on your roots unless your thinking about removing it within 15 minutes your scalp won’t be too happy with the 40 I’d probably only use it on midshaft if you feel like you have too for a quick lift but only leave on for like 15-30 min using it on your ends can really fry your hair just be careful and don’t leave it on too long 😭💕 I would more recommend a 30 if you want a good lift without damaging it too much ❤️ a 20 is okay but remember when your depositing color on light hair you don’t really need a 20, a 10 should do just fine 💕 hope this helps love 💕🙏🏽

what happened if you don’t use developer? Can you use conditioner or something else instead?
With color you can use water instead but I wouldn’t do any other product so you don’t get any type of chemical reaction ❤️ I would stick to developed if we are using lightener though 😊

to maintain it it’s better to use a semi permanent after you’ve done the permanent so you don’t damage it more 😭💕 it requires soo much up keep if you really want gray hair long term ❤️😅
I have virgin hair and plan bleaching it dividing it in three or four sessions so the damage is not that deep.. but never had grey and i really liked the color you did! its beautiful! and i would like to have it for some time..

My biggest advice would honestly just be to be patient with it it might take you a long time or maybe sooner then others since you have virgin hair but just flaunt every stage and be determined ❤️ you will get there forsure 💕 for long term use semi permanent gray shades ion has a nice one called titanium , Smokey amethyst, violet gray they are my faves 😍❤️ also use a purple shampoo to keep your nice tones ❤️😍💕 i hope this helps babe you got this ❤️😍💕🙏🏽✨

This is a permanent color so it just lasts a bit longer than a semi! Every time I use a semi it washes off like the next 2-3 washes 😭 this was my first time trying this one so I was suppppppper impressssed ! The first time I only tried half an ounce but as a toner lol I nvr thought applying it all over as a color lol

She really said eyeball it 💀💀 for those of you that are just learning I would stick to the instructions because ik when your starting out you don’t know what to look out for when “eyeballing it”
Especially with bleach if you are bleaching and you don’t have enough it won’t process correctly you need to have enough to keep it as moist as possible in order for it to evenly process.. just a few small tips to look out for..
