      I was a ruthless killing machine in all my play throughs. I'd go around killing guards and innocents for fun. I'd throw people into water where they'd drown, and when I got to the kill limit I'd punch them or "accidentally" shove them into water while sprinting. I'd throw archers off rooves and make sure they know they're about to die, I'd almost always kill pickpockets and Borgia messengers, if guards surrendered and begged for mercy or ran away I chased them down and killed them anyway. Then in revelations I'd use bombs and see how many people I can get away with killing without being desynced. Killing was so much fun

    You can argue the connor is the sweetest because he's a one man trying to make a whole nation free.
    He failed to protect his mother.
    Failed to protect his best friend.
    Failed to turn his father.
    And all of those who he aided turned their backs away and yet he never gave up hope on the nation one day becoming free.

  • @MatoWitko
    @MatoWitko ปีที่แล้ว +6

    I have to give it to Connor, if you play the homestead missions there’s so many examples of him helping people in need, and even in the main storyline the fact that he didn’t scalp George Washington after finding out he’s the one responsible for his mothers death shows a lot of restraint and his capacity for forgiveness. Not to mention he didn’t immediately jump to killing all Templar’s, in the beginning he tried to deal with them without killing them. He also still treated his enemy’s with respect, after you assassinate Thomas Hickey he stops General Pucman from kicking his corpse.

    My answer will be Connor. Ezio may be the most likeable? But the thing is you cannot mistake Kindness for *Charisma,* Yes, he brought armies of the overlooked people to bear against his enemies, but mainly? Hes highly manipulative, and will usually do deeds for them just to get their support, kindness would be to simply do for the people and not expect anything in return. Now that doesnt mean he isnt kind, he's only kind to a fault. Connor understands a more respectable view, he is living in a time where natives are mainly despised upon, seen as murderous savages. Yet despite all that, he still provided for his fellow neighbor, of course threaten his friends lives and he'll instantly feed you your blood, but he shows kindness in what he does for a lot of the game, even when hunting he shows a great appreciation and respect for the game he has taken.

    It's Bayek by a wide margin, Aivor being his closest competitor. As pointed out he's a Medjay so anyone who sees the badge treats him like a hero and he holds himself to that standard. In Siwa it's even more pronounced, kids look up to him, he freely offers his time to run errands for the elderly and the town healer. Anyone foolish enough to try to exploit Siwa got dealt with, he was basically Captain Egypt.

    I completely agree that these three are the kindest assassins. But somehow, I would put Bayek in front of Ezio. It is a very close one for me as well, but the way Bayek plays with kids and amd that he puts himself in all kinds of dangers to help just random people is really kind. But As I said, Ezio is very close behind Bayek for me. I think he's a really respectful guy, even with his enemies, but he doesn't really do any side quests.
    So, for me, Bayek is a tiny bit ahead of Ezio in kindness.

That ending kinda sucked in my opinion because bayek basically has no one left besides his assassins.

    I don’t really Ezio the kindest of the three. To say the kindest of assassins is that they must show kindness ABOVE what normal assassins do. Ezio just.. helps a lot of people? Just like many other assassins have. He certainly doesn’t damage most lives unless you consider him not choosing to kill Borgia. Ezio is the most charismatic and socially likable assassin but that doesn’t mean he’s a contender for kindness. If anything it’s Connor and Bayek. Connor’s naivety and innocence stems from a goodwill nature he has, he believes strictly morally good, and, most importantly, he’s like an emotional philosopher whenever you hear him talk. Personally, the thing you said about him being ruthless if you are on his bad side really doesn’t check out. It’s not like any of these assassins haven’t killed people or haven’t had anyone killed because of them. But Connor and Bayek are the most people’s persons here. And for that I’d say it’s hard to argue only on their behalfs as to who is kinder. My money is personally on Connor since Bayek is a bit more of a vengeful person than Connor is.

    One of the kinds of side content in Syndicate is freeing children from workhouses, and Jacob immediately calls off his alliance with Maxwell Roth upon learning children are endangered. He has a sense of kindness to him, he just needs the personal development the game’s timeframe couldn’t afford him to temper his impulsiveness.
    Edward doesn’t display the racism he might have given the period. He defers to Adewale’s skill and is only the captain because the rest of the crew do have the racism not to accept Adewale as captain. His whole motivation for becoming a privateer is to afford to put and keep Caroline in the manner he believes she should be in, rather than on a farm. Even his selfishness has kind motives, even if the way he acts on them costs him the woman he did it all for. A minor example is that he respects his daughter Jennifer in her decision to keep her mother’s name, so that she’s Jennifer Scott and not Kenway.

    I'm conflicted between Ezio and Bayek.
    Ezio also talked a woman out of su1cide in brotherhood cos her husband was unfaithful or something like that, he helps out his mother and sister with different jobs, he helps with paying for renovations, kills slave masters, he beats up unfaithful husbands and spared Rodrigo.
    But with Bayek the way he interacts with people and children shows how much he genuinely cares for their wellbeing. There's a tonne of side quests where he simply helps people, like loading wheat into a cart, killing brutal tax collectors, finding lost people or retrieving stolen goods etc.
    He actually plays with the children and is nice to them, like the priests children who played hide and seek with him. He goes out of his way to help people even if it's dangerous. He spared the scarabs son and even recruited him into the hidden ones despite kawab trying to kill him.
    Both are pretty kind despite them both being front runners for being the most dangerous or brutal.

    I think Connor is the kindest because out of all of the assassins if you were to randomly go up to him and ask for help with anything, even something that doesn't involve fighting or injustice he would be the most likely to drop what he is doing and help you

    I think Bayek because Ezio is very kind but his goals are for the creed, Connor is very compassionate but his goals are for the rebuilding of the creed and his personal vengeance on LEE but Bayek is a official protector of the people who's goals directly help his people he took an oath to protect plus no matter all the shit he went through still smiles and puts on a happy caring safe face to those in need, including children.

    I would say the kindest assassins are Bayek and Ezio, both showed great respect and understanding with people in need and especially children while fighting for virtue with the wisdom, might and duty Altair showed. Dont forget they are also the most charismatic characters in the series

    After he defeats Kawab in the hidden ones DLC, you go next to him and you just sit in silence. Taking in the desert and the moment in with him. The way he deals with people not associated with his son's death is one of the most heartwarming things to witness.

  • @TsavoFallis
    @TsavoFallis ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I know he isn't on this list because he's a Templar, but honestly I'd say Shay is the kindest protagonist. The only character so far whose motivation doesn't include revenge or following the creed he was born into, but instead killing his friends to save innocents. Not to mention the side quests, rescuing occupied settlements during the war and the renovations he does with his own money, despite the templars not needing the resources they bring. Even convincing Haythem to spare Achilles despite his betrayal, again to ensure no one went after the boxes again, but also because he truly believed in mercy when possible.

    also another case that shows Ezio's kindness is in the Brotherhood DLC where he goes invades Lucrezia's home just to tell her that he won't kill her because she was so paranoid about it, and that if he was going to, she'd be dead already, I doubt there's any other assassin who'd go out of their way to give an old enemy some peace of mind like that

    The Other Assassins Only Had 1 Game So We Didn't See Them Do Anything Else After The Game Is Done What Happened To Them Etc
    We Followed Ezio From Novice To Master Assassin That Was An Adventure
