yeah, too bad the anime can't keep up to the manga, I was seeing some parts of the war arc online and it looked... weird? in the manga they gave Shigaraki's injures so much weight, as if they're thing that are gonna be with him forever and some proof of his trauma, in the few clip I've seen so far, it just looks like Shigaraki's wearing make up, it's weird
Yeah, I tried watching season 5 and the few episodes I watched felt very weird and awkward with their execution. I kinda keep up with the manga and can say that I much prefer it. I feel like the anime would be better if they didn't have a lot of their staff focused on the movies.

The music is phenomenal too with one banger of an OP. Don't expect much from the characters. They have great designs, but both of the protagonists are just there to ask the supporting cast questions. Ooooooh I felt the Shaman King take so bad. Ive always loved the original anime and I was looking so forward to the 2021 adaptation and duuuuude. I tried, I swear I tried, I managed to watch until the Faust fight and that was my breaking point. Such a cheap adaptation :( I havent read the manga yet so I cant say how loyal to the original story it is, but as an stand-alone anime it simply feels cheap :( Out of disappointment I started the original one again, trying to be as objective as possible and not letting the nostalgia affect me, and definitely the original one is superior in its writing, artistic direction and rhythm. There are things that feel old-fashioned but the charisma the original one had is so, so special, so well made :( What a shame, I really wanted it to work :(

the second sea of tokyo revengers is coming out soon, i recommend waiting, watching it and reading the manga. it’s manga is the best written as well as the characters in t
It's kinda odd that Eden's Zero seems to receive a lot of hate.( Not talking about Damian here). The concept of exploring different planets is actually fun, sure the fanservice is obnoxious as always, but I don't get why people hate it that much. 😕
The author of i'm standing on a million lives is also the one who write My Home Hero which is my favorite suspense manga ever. I don't get why he could created such a masterpiece and also this.
I don't know when you recorded this video. But man...after ousama ranking episode 9, i feel like it aint even that early to say its one of the contenders for anime of the year. Like 9 perfect episodes , what is another 14? Wit aint Clover works to mess up things
Haven't watch Re:Zero and I like Mushoku Tensei a lot (so probably will go watch Re:Zero, or read the novels) but saying that Re:Zero wouldn't exist if it wasn't for Mushoku Tensei is just false, first chapter of Re:Zero came out April 2012, and first chapter of MT came out November of the same year; from what I remember, they were both in the top 10 web novels on the same site, Mushoku being number 1 for like 10 years in a row, but still they surely were influenced by each other, it was not a one way thing, if you have to chose a series they both took ispiration from, it's probably Overlord, that started 2 years before both of them.
From what I know the Mushoku Tensei and Re:Zero authors are friends and so its quite likely they bounced ideas off of each other. They most likely took inspiration from each other as they were planning out their stories and shared ideas over drinks etc. You see them replying to each other on twitter etc. I also know that the Re:Zero and Konosuba author are friends aswell. It's a very small world for Isekai author's xD.
I feel the same about Re:Zero as you do about Mushoku. For some unexplainable reason, I just can't bring myself to like it that much as other people do. I don't like Subaru at all, but that is not the reason I think. The music is great the fights look great, the emotional moments hit well, but I always feel like something is missing. Wich is probably is in Mushoku, bcs on the other hand I absolutely love it. About Vivy... Am I the only one, who whenever he hearss the OST from eoisode 3, just feels like he entered space. Like, that musical piece IS space itself for me. It just feels so esoteric, mystical and yet soothing, one of the best original soundtracks I have ever heard.
I tend to agree about not getting into RZ, despite absolutely adoring the entire MT light novel. Although I think as to why, I just get bored of the premise. Return by Death was cool the first time, but when you carry on doing it over and over with no breaks and eventually get to the point of an entire two-cour season of death loops, I just cannot be bothered. I also just couldn’t care in the slightest about the whole succession storyline, so scenes with stuff like Emilia talking to a bunch of villagers and rallying them up for like 10 mins or something, I just sat there without the slightest hint of interest. I really, really wish I could see what others see in it but I just don’t.
@@chokovok7231 i feel you, but I still gotta admit, that the writing and the overarcing plot is very good. I can understand why people love it, I just don't enjoy it as much.
I was on board with mushoku, solid world building, decent magical system and flawed characters. For some reason the focus shift on fanservice is just off-putting for me, sometimes it's hard to watch. Still a great show, but I lost interest in the characters. Subaru and his allies from RE:Zero are overall the funnier cast and better written in my opinion , especially if you include the light novels.
@@Lee-lm2bn yeah.. I didn't really find Re: Zero that funny. As well written as it were, the jokes just didn't work for me that well. Why I think I like Mushoku better, and I think is far superior as an isekai(note, that only in the isekai part, not writing or characters). What Mushoku offered is immerson. They show a beautiful world, different continents, different cultures, cities, people, beliefs. They don't use modern, popular music like Re:Zero, they made an original soundtrack that further emphasizes immersion. Every time I here the opening song and see the litle montage before the actual story begin, I am already invested and want to see more. On the other hand Re:Zero seems a bit generic in that regard. Its world seems plastic, only created for our main characters. There are not many locations and none of them are very interesting. They only serve as plot tools, when you watch it, it doesn't feel like a breathing, actual world, rather than just a background where the writer can develop his characters better.
Judging by this list there are a few anime I definitely gotta check out. I havent even heard of half of them (and rip Promised Neverland and Heroaca). Its not like I didnt give anime my time this year... its just that I finally bit the bullet and started watching one piece and something about watching hundreds of hundreds of episodes of a single shonen tends to get in the way of the one offs.

Didn't care for higehiro after some some point
86 is fucking fire
Didn't like vivy as much tbh but still pretty solid
Combatants will be dispatched was actually earlier than konosuba so it's basically konosuba beta version
Yes! Odd taxi 🐐
I haven't seen the manga but im interested in how the new anime adaptation was holding up
Still haven't watched Zombieland Saga and i hate myself for not starting yet
Shadows house is also fire
Saint's magic power is omnipotent is actually pretty interesting
Super cub is so fun. Definitely recommend
Bishounen tanteidan was weird. I liked it imo
I watched a few minutes of ep 1 and the "anime" of way of the househusband definitely carries over the vibe of the manga
Dragon maid? Yeah that's also goated
...
Vanitas was so good
100kanojo>kanojoxkanojo
Really loved Sonny boy
you didn't watch duke of death and villainess?? Bruh
Drugstore in another world is pretty generic imo
Not really a big fan of komi-san tbh. Bug fan of komi tho
Takt is so obviously a gacha adaptation
Blue period is a 6/10 adaptation of a 10/10 source material
WAIWAIWAIT WFA IS FIRE WHAT ARE YOU ON ABOUT
Yeah my senpai is annoying is fire too
Banished from the hero's party is meh. I was more interested in the hero's party than the main couple tbh which is a bad sign cuz i'd eat up any romance show
Ousama ranking... I mean what hasn't been said?
Jojo trolling lmao
Yo Damien if you haven’t heard look into the Totally Not Mark situation with toei animation
There are things that feel old-fashioned but the charisma the original one had is so, so special, so well made :( What a shame, I really wanted it to work :(
you did not watch the Duke of death and Black Maid? That's a comfy, feels good show that people kinda slept on.
What about attack on titan season 4? Or Jujutsu Kaisen
Ay bro, love your vids. Please be careful for awhile though! You’ve probably seen Totally Not Mark’s situation. If you haven’t, look him up! TOEI has screwed his channel! Just wanna warn you to maybe use a little less anime clips in your vids for awhile! Idk if your channel would be targeted, but just wanna look out for the Homies! 👍🏻
damian have you read one piece
Could you do an arcane reaction?
Only correct opinions allowed on the Damian TH-cam channel 💪
Link Click and Odd Taxi are definitely the best shows this season.
I would like some help, I'm someone who loved the Horimiya anime and I've heard alot that the manga/lightnovel/webcomic is better, but I'm having trouble, should I read the manga or webcomic first? there is a light novel, and if there is should I read it? where can I even read the webcomic translated? I've found the manga already but can't find nowhere to read the webcomic fully translated, should I just read the manga?
I would just say read the manga plus the webcomics art is kinda bad imo
@@spoodermanxxmlgxx oh, thank you
Very epic content

Re:Zero is older than Mushoku Tensei.... It would be here regardless
You right I forgot about the re zero web novel
What’s the next year if this is the year of our lady Aqua?
Every year is the year of our Lady aqua
Should i watch konosuba?
Yes absolutely
JOJO's part 6. You had me in the second half, not gonna lie.
Yoo Godzilla: Singular Point reaction when 🤨
the second sea of tokyo revengers is coming out soon, i recommend waiting, watching it and reading the manga. it’s manga is the best written as well as the characters in t
It's kinda odd that Eden's Zero seems to receive a lot of hate.( Not talking about Damian here). The concept of exploring different planets is actually fun, sure the fanservice is obnoxious as always, but I don't get why people hate it that much. 😕
Bro I love Eden's Zero it's just such a fun anime
@@eddie-zu7kg I'm not a huge fan, but I don't get where's all the hate coming from. Are people so biased against Mashima as a mangaka?
@@Lee-lm2bn Might be because of the fan service like you mentioned
The author of i'm standing on a million lives is also the one who write My Home Hero which is my favorite suspense manga ever. I don't get why he could created such a masterpiece and also this.
The manga for standing on a million lives slaps hard
@@MajorSmurf What a wholesome bunch
OMG how dare you give jojo an F tier! Im cryin and shittin and pukin rn 🤮🤮🤢🤢🤮🤮🤢🤢🤯🤢🥵🥵😭😭😡😡🤬🤬😈😈🥺🥺😳😳🤮🤮
came here for reccomendations and got them
I feel the same about Re:Zero as you do about Mushoku.
There goes my boy again with the jojobait
Judging by this list there are a few anime I definitely gotta check out. I havent even heard of half of them (and rip Promised Neverland and Heroaca). Its not like I didnt give anime my time this year... its just that I finally bit the bullet and started watching one piece and something about watching hundreds of hundreds of episodes of a single shonen tends to get in the way of the one offs.
What is up with anime/ light novels using their synopsis as titles tho.
