Lol my conveyor has been sitting in its box since it arrived 2 & 1/2 months ago - i'm excited to use it eventually but i've been hammering the life outta the F1 Ultra doing tons of material tests including spray painted ceramic tiles, Titanium Dioxide coated tiles, Borax on wood, all sorts of metals, glass, metal business cards - gotta say i hate doing embossed slate coasters - far too messy) - Ra2 rotary also tested out... i don't move on until i'm satisfied with finding all the sweet spots from my experments so i'm very close to trying out the conveyor very soon... Cheers for the Vid 😎👍🏴
Isn't the F1 Ultra a fun little unit! I'm getting ready to release video on a bunch of setting I created and I had a lot of fun making it.. stay tuned!
I ordered the bundle today which includes the conveyer, air purifier, and RA2 pro rotary. The preorder indicates it will ship after Jul 31. I would love to get one to test. I used to demo OMTech's CO2 laser as a host and have demoed it for over 120 people. I would love to do the same thing with the Xtool.
Good information! I am waiting to get my Ultra to see if what type of products I’ll be making to see if the conveyor is right for me. Thanks for the video
Before make sure to place a metal sheet under the piece, it took about a week and a half to get my replacement belt in the mail. I was accidentally set to Blue diode and super heated the piece lol
Great review & demonstration. You mentioned serial numbers. Is there any feature, current or planned, that would allow an incrementing number or maybe text from a file (like names for badges)?
@@LaserEngraving911 Or like a folder of images. That would allow someone to use the same stock material, but engrave different things on them all in one batch. Like business cards, where every employee has a different QR code (or maybe even their own picture). You could then upload a folder with all the card designs and put a bunch of cards on the belt to be engraved.
Thanks for this video! These in-depth looks at the machines are super helpful. Of course, sitting here staring at my F1 (non-ultra) I'm a bit jealous of the new features :)
@@LaserEngraving911 the major limitation of the slide deck is its internal speed. If they fed it 4” then used the galvo, fed it again and repeated it would be faster than everything else I own but as it is too hard to setup for comparable speeds to modern open frame diodes.
How deep would you recommend is needed for the F1 Ultra for the table depth considering you need to hook the exhaust up with the conveyor system . Thanks and great video
I have one last question before I pull the trigger on this . Do you think you could engrave multiple Golf tees on the side like a company name with success using the ultra conveyer by just laying them out randomly but not over bunch
Totally ok, we were only using like 35% of what the xTool fume extractor can do, and it did a amazing job, they way they built the F1 Ultra, does a great job of extracting the fumes.

This is a diode laser and fiber laser so its not the right laser for engraving or cutting clear acrylic, You will want the P2 by xTool for that shrsl.com/4iif3
The fiber laser can engrave in color on stainless and titanium, using very specific settings that you will have to fine tune yourself, YES. It not a cut and dry process but when dialed in right its cool.
They should have made the bracket that is on the actual f1 go up from the bottom, not taking up any working space. That is a waste in my book of making the working space bigger, if you have to use the working space for attachments. I know it’s not while using the conveyor belt, but that means you have o take the bracket off each time you use it. Which could lead to stripping screws and losing pieces!
@@KXDesignsLLC 🤣 I meant to say Fume Extractor not "few" Here is what I recommend for you if you are planning to get the F1 Ultra this week, you will want to pick up the New AP2 Fume Extractor, its really nice and you will not have to vent outside shrsl.com/4r4d1 you still can run the exhaust hose out side if you want but you wont have to.
Hello fellow fisherman! Yes! I have reviewed several of the xTool products and one thing they all have in common is they are build well, and right now based on my experience with xTool they understand that your success and lack of problems with your hardware is their success, so I do believe they will continue to improve all aspects of this unit and future units. Great question!
Everything looks good, but the fact that logos wont be engraved in the exact same location is a deal breaker for me. I need the placement to be 100% accurate for my application 😢
You can always do manual registration, that what I do and have done on all my jobs, and I know that xTool will be always be improving the camera alignment the more data they get, Thanks for leaving a comment and sharing!
Doesn't work well at all - large jobs work but when doing multiple its a pain. Software keeps saying multiple objects on canvas delete extra objects. Defeats the purpose. I can create rock coasters one at a time but the conveyor refuses to process them. waste of time.

I'd love if they'd sell a large cutting plate and allow cutting on the conveyor. For larger cuts.
I agree with that and have emailed them about it. Maybe if more make the request then they might consider it.

yes!
The talc tip is priceless!
Do you know if you can use the rotary on the conveyor to do longer items?

Hi, the function that automatically detects the various pieces works only with the Conveyor or can also be activated without it?
I think it can work without it!

Can it do multiple designs at once?
no just 1 at a time.
Looks like a good accesory. The slide deck for the f1 is so slow as to be useless for anyone with a bigger option.
I think so, its got some serious potential, I'm looking forward to see all the different ways people use the conveyor! THX!

I've literally made this SAME request to xtools to utilize the galvo
Thanks for that , really thinking about getting this , I have the 40w S1 and F1 now

Wondering why they made a solid base for the ultra instead of making the base like the original so you can engrave a taller object or vertical object
Oh you mean a pass thru base,, good idea
