I remember that back then your only options were: 1: Tank the NP with 100% Defense/Defense + Dmg Cut like a champion (Usually Mash/Waver/Tamamo) 2: Eat the NP entirely but revive with Guts and heal yourself quickly(Stall based team with Irisviel as the centerpiece because she's the only one with a party-wide Guts buff) 3: Mash Solo shenanigans (Kill first wave with Arash, buy a turn with Georgios and practically manage your defense buffs making sure you have 5 Defense Buffs Icons on Mash's HP Bar before the NP, thing was more of a puzzle rather than a battle). Kind of funny that now the best way to do it is "Yeet Castoria's NP on Arash's NP Turn and forget all of your problems"...
Just did it with Morgan, Jeanne and a borrowed Castoria. It wasn't as efficient without Merlin, but Jeanne's healing was enough to make up the difference.
You know I recently fought the Barghest boss in part 2 where I basically used the two story supports Castoria and Archer Oberon with a support Merlin. Despite Oberon’s demerit on Merlin I was still able to take Barghest down with relative ease. This made me wonder what other kinds of servants could be compatible with a Team Avalon set up. If Oberon is able to pull it off then I think any Buster servant with an NP battery could do it like Kukulkan or Ozymandias (especially Kukulkan given she’s a mix of utility and DPS)
If Lanceria Puts Castoria on the tip of Her rhongomyniad in camelot singularity she would have secured the checkmate Not even stella could stop that shit
I did this with 1 Castoria, a level 80 Ganesha, and has Mash as a balance factor. Ganesha has the dmg bonus CE(So Guts in case I didn't have Castoria NP up on last turn), Castoria has NP and arts card effectiveness up(could be support), and mash was a balance factor in case something went wrong. When Arash was going to use 2 Stella's in a row, I used Ganesha then Castoria NP to apply x2 of her buff. Honestly you can replace Ganesha with someone else that is either suppose to Tank(even changing they're CE to something like defense up against males.)Just make sure to have either Mash or x person's NP, I recommend bringing just the Chaldea Mystic Code since if you run Mash or anyone else, you can get a free turn off by using evasion(not on NP) or as an emergency just in case one of the servants or Castoria gonna die.
Her np gives the entire team an overcharge bonus, so using her np, followed up by Merlin and Castoria gives them a 300% and 400% overcharge bonus respectively, giving the team 4 of Castoria's special invincibility each

so do i need to also do damage or just stall until he died by running out of guts ?
You can try to deal enough damage for Arash to have Less guts to nuke your team with, but yeah stalling is easier in comparison.

wait, what? he has the ignore invincibility buff but he can't break castoria's silver invincibility buff? can somebody explain to me plz...
Silver invul cannot be pierced even if the enemy have invul pierce.
Just like sure hit cant attack the enemy with invincible, then ignore invincible cant attack the enemy with Castoria special invincible.
Castoria invul can't be pierced. Basically a higher tier invincible buff, well it can still be erased by those with buff removal tho.
Castoria's silver invincibility can't be broken by ignore invincibility, its like a invincibility for ignore invincibility.
Castoria's NP gived "Solemn Defense" a special type of Invul that can;t be bypassed by Invul pierce.
Basically you have to survive 3 stellas
