It is not true. Only when they force you to use some PGs... Castoria was always available and you could even NPloop. With my bersekers (Arjuna, Vlad, Heracles, Cuu) and others like Lancelot and Astrea it was a walk to Cernunnos. Besides, the hardest battles were the ones you had to lose! Like the battle with the three Morgans... Also Oberon Pretender I killed him in less than 6T: he was a disappointment after Cernunnos "extreme level". However it must be said, LB6 is a masterpiece in general for innovation, history and playable characters.
@@Il_Misantropo I agree about most of what you said but I think you were banking too much on the "last big bad thing". That Celtic god was literally like the embodiment of karma for the fairies. Oberon wasn't supposed to go beyond that. No one is. That Celtic thing was the main reason for the alien god's desire to exterminate the lost belt. Oberon vortigen was just the guy to send the lost belt off for Chaldea
I wouldn‘t say you can‘t cheese him because debuff immunity makes it so much easier.....still took me an hour to realize that and then 1/2hour to make my Gramps set up work
No idea how this guy got so many likes despite being terribly wrong but here is how you cheese this fight: use a LOT of DPS servants with 3T Debuff Immunity (Voyager, Pen, Will Tell), use a cleanser (Castoria or Assclap is fine) and most importantly HAVE 2 DPS ! One in the front row to deal with the boss first 3 HP bars, ONE in the back to finish it off (MUST. HAVE. DEBUFF IMMUNITY). You dont need any specific setup to beat this. IIRC a dude used Chen Gong to wipe him in 6 turns, there are also numerous vids of King Hassan slamming it heck IIRC a well-built Enkidu can even beat it. Its not really that hard for whales imho
spoilers This one is Baobhan sith, Cernunnos was killed all the way back and is a mere corpse, Baobhan's death reactivated the divine corpse and she became its core. There are details such as the theme being a remix of hers and the fact that fluffy boy here can use baobhan's third skill : Fairy Vampirism

Looking at this fight, man we really need a Quick support who focuses on survivability and endurance, like Merlin is to Buster and Castoria/Tamamo is to Arts.
Plus it's really stupid that it gives evade instead of invulnerability or real invulnerability like Castoria has since Evade is objectively worse as Sure Hit counters Evade. Evade and Invulnerability should each protect differently. Pierce Invulnerability should bypass Invulnerability but NOT Evade just like Sure Hit bypasses Evade but not Invulnerability. BAD GAME DESIGN.

Impossible to harm or damage. Also, I'd like to point out that the translation of Invincible/Invincibility of Fgo should be change to Invulnerable/Invulnerability. I mean evade makes you escape harm or damage right?! so if you ignore that condition using ignore invulnerability the logic sounds.

Cernunnos is one hell of a rough fight, my Van Gogh let out some very sad maniacal squeaks on that least health bar. It's also brutal that the delayed damage debuffs will keep procc'ing after guts goes off, so you can't even consistently rely on guts to guarantee you another turn if you start piling those delayed damage debuffs onto your DPS. That said, running a wacky debuff res centric comp seems like a fun time, but that'll be for when this hits NA, I'm just glad to be done with the fight on JP so I can enjoy my new Artsrash and level 90 Mash.

Was it caused by her getting tossed into the pit(had pretty destructive properties based on muramasa or was it the results of the magecraft beryl taught her)
I'd like to think given her lines, her third ascension is how she looked before Morgan picked her up. Alternatively, POTENTIAL SPOILER WARNING Her third ascension could be based on her possibly being Cernunnos core. Her lines reference Morgan dying and wanting to kill all the fae. And in this fight, the theme is a remix of Bao's fight theme and her corpse was thrown into the pit where Cernunnos was. It's core is a similar red-pink as Bao's hair and it looks like a female silhouette is in it. Maybe the white lace covering her body is symbolic of Cernunnos floof?
how hard was this fight in your opinion? cuz from the video doesnt look hard but im certainly that it was pretty difficult considering the gimmicks of cernunnos
It was pretty difficult with this unit since he does more as he gets debuffed and sith gives debuff on NP, overall this is the fight to dump blue cubes on.
As long as the rest of your team is filled out well, you should be able to beat this boss with Galatea. It will take a lot of time to make it work, but that’s the case for every comp for this boss
It's not only about self-immune to curse, but about team survival. I can say that maintaining a team 3 of DPS+Merlin+Castoria/DPS+Asclepius+Castoria is still hard let alone saying it will be kinda cheese using Himiko.
@@Thanawat_CH Only as a support. She still melts if you attempts some wonky DPS setups with her. I think you should use a servant with a damaging NP but hey if you like Van Gogh then just use and spam blue orbs to bring her back. That works too imho
Looks like AOE attacks for 3 turns. If you attack him, you get hit with a curse. He heals for 10K hp after every attack you make. As his health goes down he gets some support more added curse effects. When you unleash an NP you get a heal bonus for 3K. At least that what I got. He’s weird.

DW really outdone themselves with this boss. You really can't cheese this boss without a very specific setup and even then it falls to card RNG.
I wouldn‘t say you can‘t cheese him because debuff immunity makes it so much easier.....still took me an hour to realize that and then 1/2hour to make my Gramps set up work
