No you actually need to use your mind cause the nps are not going to charge themselfes Specially with Aoe enemies since you have very short time to charge your np I didn't use it with merlin and morgan But i did it with himiko instead so idk about the np charge themselves
i love when major characters from the same mythology work togethe like this. Id love it more if characters from india like kama and arjuna worked together better mesopatamian or gil and enkidu or ishtar and eresh.
Man i forgot this team comp can literally work for this fluffy boss 😂. I literally suffered myself with merlin castoria and Jeanne(ruler) lasting 216 turns. I like stalling might use this if this boss appeared at a memorial campaign

@@N120Xeno Rate up is a lie. I tried about 600 QP on his last "rate up". Not one copy. And unless I find some super good bond farm so I can fast level up some bond 10+ servants, I am pretty much broke. So he ain't coming to me.

It can't be helped. The are players who are really dedicated to gampeplay, and players who only care about Waifus or Lore, who have only basic understanding of the game mechanics. Every way of playing is respectable.

my guess is 0 resets with a pretty stable clear... am here on youtube to plan my own clear but immortal team plus some decent ces is likely really not that bad for this since I think his main deal is the curse gimmick, just press blue and I doubt he's ever killing the team - only real thing is timing morgan burst so you don't die of boredom yourself

Team Avalon is just too stronk of a team overall. - Stable damage through Morgan's Berserker typing, Castoria's NP, and all 3 of their Charismas. - Great NP Gain and C.Stars through Merlin's NP and Morgan's/Castoria's S2 and 8/15 Arts facecards allowing for consistent Arts Chains. - Perfect surviviability through infinite Solemn Defense via Castoria's NP with Merlin's Invuln and Morgan's Guts for emergencies. - Morgan S3 reducing Crit and ATK every turn, keeping whatever damage you DO take lower than the average. The only obvious con they have is having to line up Merlin's S3 with all 3 Charismas + Castoria's NP ATK buff + Morgan's S1/S3 so that Morgan's Crit damage can be maximized. Other that that, they _almost_ play on autopilot; you can still mess it up pretty bad if you don't pay attention. Otherwise...there aren't many fights that require THAT much Burst damage though anyway - Cernunnos' final bar is probably the only fight other than _maybe_ UFO Raid ORT, ORT Xibalba, and the final Tezcatlipoca fight where you explicitly want to be timing your burst, because the only thing that can kill you while paying attention with good RNG are bOsS mEcHAniCS™.

I'd say you have to get pretty lucky so get a run like this and that's with the use of a command seal. I tried this comp myself with a lvl 116 Morgan and np1 Merlin when 6.3 dropped and I gave up. I didn't do the backline strat for the firs bar like this guy did (which was smart) but the fight wasn't too bad for the first few phases, however, this team really loses steam on the final phase. The fight slows down so much with how many stacks of curse the boss applyed to itself by this point and the np drain can really throw a wrench in things and just one turn without enough invuln stacks and you're mostly likely dead with how slowly this team removes curse stacks (the more stacks of curse the boss has buff damage and defense). This team comp is really good, but this boss's gimmick makes this team really hard to pull off for the full fight (and just about impossible for any other slow team). Could have been a skill issue on my part but that's how I felt when fight this boss. It's also up to you if you want to use command seals which can really pull you out of a pinch like in this run.
@@squirmypizza6393 yeah, I personally just ended up blasting the crap out of him with every op support I had plus the 3 cs revive and a blue stone so maybe shouldn't be talking... was able to run full bond ces this way though and honestly probably could have done it without the blue stone if I had been willing to try slightly harder lol that said, a couple observations: absolutely bring a second castoria if you didn't lol, maybe hans as an emergency cope merlin; you can use something slightly better than bedi to clear wave 1 in order to fit this creator's morgan is np4 which may mean he has better damage than your setup I can see how the drain might affect things in hindsight but you can potentially nuke his curse stacks with castoria chain ending with np, this might end with you eating one or two sets of attacks that turn but probs worth if your morgan overcharge is up - unless he crits you or you're kinda low this is likely survivable; obvs once curse stacks are gone fight becomes dramatically easier so I think everything is recoverable there if everybody is still alive note that creator went into the third wave with like 3 stacks of merlin plus almost all of his skills and a bunch of solemn defence, still had a kinda rough time Skills are a massive backstop, castoria + merlin is a decent amount between them - if you're not already doing this atlas can be saved for the last bar to plug gaps

Ahh yeas this team comp is really really underrated. I don't have Merlin so I use my Morgan, Castoria and Support Morgan and fire of their NP in one turn keeping Castoria's NP at third place, giving 500% energy recharge to my Castoria making my my party absolutely immortal.

@@DJStriker106 To be quite honest, you're not forced to one-shot the first bar. Most people who stall Cernunnos don't do it. I did it to flex, and because it's NP Seal after breaking first bar is annoying. You will recieve some damage in that turn. If you do want to do one-shot the first bar, Scathach is a better option than Bedivere.

Other healers like Jeanne Ruler or Hans may work I guess. But they're not nearly as good as Merlin for this team, you'll lack the NP charge per turn of Merlin.
Morgan's NP level doesn't matter, what matters is her overcharge. Many people ask the same. About Jeanne, haven't tested, it should work, just not as good because Merlin's NP charge per turn is an important component.

Others as Jeanne Ruler and Hans might work as well, but depends on the difficulty of the content. For instance, I doubt they will work against a boss of the tier of Cernnunos.
If you know how Cernunno's mechanic works, you have to cleanse his Curses as soon as possible. Castoria's NP must always be the last action of the turn.

To be honest i don't have Himiko, but my guess Morgan because her NP is offensive, so she doesn't depend on face cards (RNG) to deal damage. Also makes her better for Challenge Quests where there are multiple enemies.
I’m guessing it’ll be perfect for the King Protea fight which is the one fight I haven’t had a team yet that will complete it…. Also I do love Morgan but imagine a ST dps would have been better. Beni comes to mind as well as Galatea (my NP1 Galatea was sufficient for this fight, won it first time and I did use command codes but also it’s the only fight in a long while that even had me using them) or any Buster/Arts ST that has defensive or charge capability

Hello friend. None of those is necessary: - Oberon to clear 1st HP bar faster (not needed). - BG to deal more damage (not needed, since the important part of the team is the defense). - By the way, Morgan NP1 is enough. Hope this clarified your doubts.

It's lore hell for me. :') Cannot 10/10/10 Koyanskaya and Oberon by now.
This is a pretty broken set up and with story support Castoria it's unbeatable.
I give up on endurance team because it causes a lot of stress.

You need someone that gives overcharge with their np, so in NA only Himiko or Morgan. You won't get enough invuln stacks to stay alive otherwise.

Probably Hans or Jeanne are the best fillers for Merlin. But they still not as OP as the Grand Caster, so it's probably gonna be a little harder.

But those DPS don't have Overcharge. So you probably gotta wait for Lady Avalon for that to work as efficiently as this team.

- Oberon to clear 1st HP bar faster (not needed).
- BG to deal more damage (not needed, since the important part of the team is the defense).
- By the way, Morgan NP1 is enough.

Dude, it's literally core mechanic of entire Fate. Not to use it, it's just a missed opportunity for hype and epicness. And it's stupid.
