Thanks. I got the wave rider 27 as my first mizuno and I love it. Honestly haruki murakami’s book about running inspired me, he’s a big mizuno guy. These look really nice. My wife is gonna kill me when they arrive 😂 too many shoes
@@danbuhuera376 😂 I’m in shoe purgatory (time out) as well. These are super soft and a good easy day option, the yin to the wave riders yang. I’m loving everything mizuno is doing this year. Their “heelless “ models like flash 2 and rebellion pro 2 work perfect for my stride too.
I know I’m not the guy in the video, but me personally I prefer the Nimbus a little bit more because the heel is more cushioned and I tend to heel strike a little. While the mizano feels a little more cushioned near the balls of your feet and also has less of a roll to it.
The Nimbus does have more structure to it. The nimbus “feels bulkier” under foot like a lot of max cushion options. It is also an ounce heavier. I don’t tend to like max cushion shoes for that reason. Instead I prefer the “mad max” type of shoe with a lot of foam but some bounce or rebound (Superblast 2 over the nimbus). That being said, the wave sky 8 is great for me because it is more “high cushion” versus max cushion. Lighter and more nimble but still soft

Wave rider is more firm and has a 12mm drop. It has SOME nxt foam in the heel but it’s not very soft overall. The sky 8 is much more soft but I do not believe will last 500 miles .

Bought this shoe and it is similar to Novablast style. It bounces and comfortable.

Softer than the triumph. More like a smaller NB 1080v13. Same use case as a cruiser. I just can’t pick up the pace at all in it
