BYD Doesn't have its OWN dealership open in Europe. They import it but its sold by third party Dealers, I am sure they mark UP the price. Tsla, however sells it's cars directly to it's customers, so NO middle man making money. I am not sure why BYD chose to use dealers? (Perhaps they thought it would help them break into the European market faster, my thought.)

They kinda have to to avoid excessive taxes, so they just let dealers make more as it makes their cars a similar price to other cars in their size.
