The guy has been completely pampered his entire life before going to the league. I’m from Utah, I’ve followed his career. He went to Corner Canyon high school, as boujee as it gets. I remember when he was in the state championship and ignored his coach’s playcall, called his own play and lost the game, and clearly never learned from it. I remember when he flipped his commitment to BYU from Boise State at the last minute. And then he was immediately the starter in college, succeeded immediately, never really struggled. A totally low pressure situation at a mediocre university, which stumbled into success in his last season there in a wonky covid season
He was never going to be the quarterback for a franchise as bad as the Jets.
I mean he’s been 5-2 as the starter this year, and joe Flacco has only been 1-2 so I’ll take Wilson over Flacco 🤷 gotta give the man a little credit

As a Patriot fan we usually pencil the two games against the Jets as two wins. I have to say it the Jets have a great team, unfurtunatelly, they are being held hostage by Zach Wilson. Yesterday was the only game against the Jets since 2015 that I really felt that we might loose the game.

I firmly believe the Jets would’ve defeated the Patriots in the first game had it not been for that nonsensical roughing-the-passer call that negated a pick-six. Jets would’ve taken a 17-3 lead had it not been for that penalty.

Not really always on a winning team for BYU. The first two seasons as a starter they went 7-6. The last year they were 11-1. He just needs to learn to be better about taking accountability. He didn’t even have to say “it was my fault” as much as “I have to play better for my team”.

That 2021 QB Draft Class was said to be one of the best in decades. T. Lawerence, Trey Lance, Justin Fields, Mac Jones, and Zach Wilson. A season and a half in, they all suck...

I just posted a report that proves how many times Zach has used the letter 'I' in postgame pressers to take accountability on himself for needing to be better. Why don't you listen to Garrett Wilson's presser as he rightfully blames the game plan and not Zach for the terrible offense yesterday. If Garrett thought Zach was the issue, he would have either called out Zach or kept his mouth shut.
Anyone can bring up the past pressers all they like, but yesterday he literally stood there and took no accountability for the offenses' failings in which he went 9/22 for 77 yds, and a QBR of 24.5.
If he stood there and just said "yep, that's on me" no one would be talking like they are now. It's a leadership thing and how he reacted after the game came across as though he has none whatsoever, to the point he's been called a boy playing a man's sport.

You have to call block in the back penalties even if they're not going to make the play because that penalty is about preventing injuries. If they let that slide there's going to be more people getting injured.
