I sincerely would bet that you’ve made an entire fan-base out of the state of Montana due to your authentic and respectful story about your experience. Good on you Pat. So much of this country doesn’t get the press it deserves. I’m sure you’ve made many Montanan’s proud with your admiration for the state they live in.
I live in Bozeman and recent Montana State graduate~ came to College Game Day and loved having you there Pat! We love you here and happy you had a blast!
It was awesome to see how this town reacted to GameDay being here. The energy the week before was palpable. Thanks to Pat and the entire GameDay crew for making such a memorable week for our small (but rapidly growing) Montana town.
As a Professional Rodeo Announcer and former bull rider and steer wrestler I just gained a whole new respect for Pat!!! For you to acknowledge that these are not just cowboy's but legitimate Professional athletes is great. I'm glad you got a small taste of it. Coach Kyle Whitaker is a gentleman and a total bad ass!! Thank you Pat!!!!
@@kevplescia4397 Lol there’s lots of confusing choices out there, don’t get me wrong I love the rodeo; it’s just when someone says profressional athletes most people don’t think of cowboys because they get less screen time and less zeroes on their pay check.
He's so humble. Pat could MURDER a football 100 yards, wrassle a full grown Wild ANGRY Moose, and Simultaneously TRUCK and JUKE Troy Polamalu in the C Gap for a touchdown and give ALL the credit to his teammates/Da Boyz. A true GOAT.

Steerwrestling AKA bulldogging. Real difference goes to the reason for such an activity. This is how a cowboy would get a "bull" in the position to make it a "steer". Or to doctor the animal. Pat you are a bad ass no matter what event. From a ranch hand in N.W. Colo
THANK YEW FOR APPRECIATING OUR BEAUTIFUL STATE, PAT!!! I was in Bozeman on Saturday, not at the game tho, and yeah that was a nice crisp Montana winter day. Sunny, not a cloud in sight, but single digit temps and a steady wind bringing the chill closer to 0... Those are the days we figure out who's from Montana and who moved here from Cali😂. Glad momma nature dropped some snow the week before gave y'all the perfect example of our beautiful treasure state, big sky country!
So Pat do you know this trick, get the heat packs for your feet you know the chemical ones and drop them in your shoes or boots whatever you’re wearing to keep that heat going
If that steer didn't have horns you would never be able to get him down. I attempted that on an approximately 250 lb heifer c a l f, that had escaped its pen from my neighbor who was a farmer. I attempted that but without horns that have her left a hoof imprint on my chest. It wasn't funny to me but everybody else laughed, and the farmer laughed but he gave me credit for the attempt. And said I had guts but not much brains. LOL I was only about 15 years old.
Hey pat, check out the mountain man show on History Channel. There's a fell on there named Tom who was a Bronk and bull rider back in the day. He has an awesome interesting story. His life is awesome and now he lives off the grid somewhere in Montana. I believe.
Been a Colts fan for a long time but been a Bobcat fan for life. Wasn't sure I could be a fan of yours Pat after you picked the grizzlies, but was glad to see you admit the Cats were a better team. You should make the trip back to Bozeman in April for the MSU spring rodeo at the Field House. Love to have you back!
I will never when my dad was stationed on Guam and they had a big shindig/ parade/beer drinking contest / bbq going on and he asked me if I wanted to ride a carabou during the parade . I was thinking on dancer and prancer , much to my dismay it was a full blown water Buffalo that kept trying to use its horn’s to get me off . About 3/4 of the way through bottle rockets started going off and the handlers lost the ropes and I bailed . The last thing I saw was the ass of a Water Buffalo and I was ok with that .
It would be more correct to say that he tortured an animal for the fun of it- I like Pat but he doesn’t understand the hell these animals live through 24/7.
I will never forget the first time I almost lost four fingers due to frostbite . There’s four levels of cold . Cold , Really Cold , Super Cold , and the fourth level is when you stop feeling things .

Never met someone say it wasn't. Even the goat tie up takes some athletics and good handeeye coordination to tie them up that quickly

Pat, you've got to get yourself some 400G Thinsulate Danner boots.
Lol, my man has waaaay too much fun. But I'm glad. I mean, I wouldn't wrestle a bull even if hell froze over but seeing Pat can is awesome
