If "TDAT" had become a weekly series, there's no guarantee that it would have been a success.

At least this "Day After Tomorrow" doesn't have lame CGI wolves XD

When this was first aired here in the US I remember watching it and during it's first few scenes thinking to myself "This feels like a Gerry Anderson Show!" and then ACTUALLY seeing his name in the credits! Even as a young lad of 12 I knew what I was watching BEFORE I knew what I was watching!

I remember getting home from school in the 3rd or 4th grade (late 74-early 76) and watching this with my mother and grandparents. I'd never even heard of it, nor the series this video says it was created for. It started just as I was jumping off the bus and my mom called me to hurry to see it. I loved it. Heard about it again a few times over the years but never saw it until I found it available on... either TH-cam or Netflix within the last year or so as part of the Jerry Anderson special (that DVD set they mentioned. They were all presented). Great models, serviceable FX... imagine what could be done now.

I loved the theme tune to this. I think it’s one of Derek Wadsworth’s best. Lovely man, sorely missed.

I remember watching this lost Gem in the US as part of the ABC After School Special series when it first aired. Amazing cast, music, and SPFX and look forward to a proper release.

Good grief, Gerry Anderson really did work on all kinds of stuff throughout his career! I had no idea about this.

Thank you! Excellent mini-doc. Loved this when I saw it as an eleven year old. No VHS in our house in 1975, but in a repeat viewing I caught the audio on my cassette recorder and played it for years after!
