Interesting when you describe "the deepest plates" you're only referring to the overall thickness, and not the depth of the rim from the front. I do the latter. The deepest plates I currently have are the Marcy L.A.s, but one time I came across some plates even deeper than the Marcy's. They were branded "DYNAMICS", and stamped "China" on the hub. I believe they were made in the late 70s.
I’ve seen his home gym in various videos, and it looks like mostly machines at this point. So if he does, they’re not in his gym. You’d think he was gifted some weights and things over the years. Maybe in storage somewhere.
One thing I was hoping you would have mentioned in your video is, what's the overall diameter of the Paramount 45s? Are they close to 17.5" like most old 45s, or are they 17" like the BFCO dd?? 🏋️♂️🤸♂️🏋️♂️
Hard to tell by watching a video but they seem like they would be difficult to hub lift. Some awesome plates though... well except for that matched weight lol.
Just picked up a pair of these. Always love the content!
Thanks!
Enjoyed the video. Very informative!
Thanks so much!
Great video! Gym looks great. Love the Paramounts
Thanks so much!
So deep
That they are

That’s correct. Marcy 25s always feel like they are paper thin face and super deep to me.
I wonder if Arnold owns any vintage weights?

I forgot to do that on my last weight plate video too 🤦♂️haha. I’ll see if I can take a look this week.
@vintageweightspgh Awesome 👍

I haven’t tried hub lifting them yet. Soon! I’ll report back.
Found a pair of these with a pair of Paramount ship's wheels, how luck was I?
Sooooo luck. I love ship wheel collars. Very cool.
Have you ever heard of "Olymco" deep dish?
Yes. They’re not that collectable but fine for lifting.
I need to pickup a set before Arnold kicks it...
They’re out there.
We don't of this dark day. He is not allowed! Using his own analogy, may his roll of toilet paper never run out.
