I worked with Ana to heal my relationship with food, her program completely transformed my life. Her story let me know that I wasn’t alone with what I was struggling with which brought me hope. Ana’s an inspiration and her 3 step approach makes it easy to get results. I am forever grateful!
The thing is, just as the causes of ED's are different for each person, so is the "solution" to the problem. It's not a "one size fits all". For myself, finding what worked specifically FOR ME was the key for my long-term recovery. After years of useless therapy, recovery programs, inpatient treatment, etc, I found the root cause of what was driving my behavior. Then it was a matter of committing to nourishing myself properly, regardless of what my ED thoughts were telling me to do. I learned how to say "yep, I hear what you're saying ED, but I'm going to do what is best for me anyway". It's been a very long journey, and recovery wasn't overnight. But I have been successfully and gratefully recovered for over 16 years now. "The voice" still pops up occasionally, and I acknowledge it, but disregard it and move on with my day. 😊
Amazing so pleased to hear this❤️absolutely agree with what you say: symptoms May be similar but the root cause varies and getting to the bottom is key
