You are correct he never takes credit. That is a very astute observation. If you look at most of the comments here they are vastly different. Few people volunteer what they say is we need more men like this.
It is SO easy to ask someone else to be brave for you,
it is SO Easy to ask someone else to stand up for what is right,
It is SO DAM EASY to ask someone else to make that sacrifice.
The real problem is that this is becoming more and more acceptable.
Everyone should stop thinking that they accomplished something by typing a few words with some obscure text. Get out and do something.

@@gazr290 freedom has always been threatened and its always been this way, mankind's will to power. For as long as humans have been using sticks, rocks and tools freedom has been threatened. It don't matter if its one nation against the other or one village or settlement against the other for as long as mankind has been able to think like we do there has always been some kind of freedom's being threatened. Even when the neanderthals were roaming the earth it was the same then and it will be the same until the end of time especially if we've got anything to do with it. When all is said and done there is only one main detriment to this planet and that is baaaa bababababa bahhhh yep mankind. We ain't all exactly the same thank god a big majority of us wanna live in peace and do good, some of us are not used by greed and some of us are the light in the darker times but there ain't many. I have nothing wrong with fighting for one's country especially in the case of fighting the Japanese in WWII after they attacked Pearl Harbor.
In WWI, I still understand the sentiment of fighting for the country. My question is what the fight was really about. I mean the justification was the sinking of the Lusitania. If that ship like it is speculated was carrying weapons of war to the enemies of Germany would that not be justification for the Germans to sink it.
I think WWI was a war that had no reason for Americans to engage in other than war is money.
What I will say is I still respect all veterans that served in WWI, as I do with WWII, and the Civil War. I just question the motivations of the Wilson government in WWI, and the F.D.R. government in WWII both of which wanted us to join these conflicts before justification was even there to be had. This also is very familiar to what is going on today with another president from the Democrat party who wants us to be more involved in a foreign war.

This is my type of American hero. He’s been to Hell and back and is still humble. There’s so much this man has given and yet he still loves his country. Young people should listen to this man and his valuable words of wisdom. Thank God for him and men just like him!🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸❤️
