Ladies and gentlemen, this is what a real man looks like.
He has a heart.. brought me to tears .
Same here man. What a good cop
True story
The old man? Yea i agree
I couldn't have said it better myself.....
That cop has a soul. Their is no shame in crying
@AmericanMade exactly, men shouldn't be treated as machines. We have emotion too.
two kinds of people
1. i am a body and have a soul
2. i am a soul and have a body
From the moment you were born, crying was a sign you were alive.
There*
Every cop has a soul, they are normal humans like you me, tf🤦🏻♀️
That cop is exactly what we need. Compassionate, caring, kind and human. As a combat veteran we struggle in different ways but it’s nice to see people who care. To the cop thank you for this. It means so much to us vets.
I wish we had more officers like this.. even the blindest of people can tell he truly does care.. and Thank You Mike not only for your service but also for the sacrifice you endured ther is alot of us out here that truly appreciate you for it and I'm one of them

Mike, thank you for your service and I'd like to thank all vets out there for their service that come across my comment. The job you all signed up for is unfathomable to most of us civilians. I see you all as real life super heroes in my eyes and in many eyes for that matter.

I'm really sorry, but what'd you meant by the "operator"?
In my definition, an Operator is someone who is the very best in their role/position
Now look, 95% of the cops are like this, only they don't end up on the news.
No doubt. Everyone has their own story.
Was his brother George floyd?
"On to the next one"... my mom and dad were both cops for 23 and 33 years. That line hits hard.
Definitely. Doesn't matter how awful the job is they are called to, or how emotional they get. When you're a cop you gotta keep going.
Just a regular person here. Thanks to your parents for giving so much for so long. Respect.

Heroin addict, 3 years sober. This video brought tears to my eyes. For an officer to take the time with someone who has an addiction is heartwarming. I'm a 68 year old Vietnam veteran who like a multitude of others was discharged with an unmanageable habit. It has taken close to 50 years for me to finally smile again. This video should be shown at all police academies. Thumbs up for the men in blue.
Thank you for your service and welcome home.
...warm heart to you Stephen Carter. My offspring at one point was into something and declared to me he would not continue college that I was paying for...at some point both his father and I did not know where he had lived.....
By but the grace of his own innate light and power (however strong it was), he quit whatever he was on, he found work, and he was also willing to go to a six-week education program where he learned truck driving and he respected his instructor and his other classmates. He is a doting father now and works hard to support his family. I am beyond thankful!
Welcome home sir🫡
Welcome home, hero. We're here for you, also, you dropped this 👑
Thank you so much for your service and I’m so proud of you for becoming sober♥️

@Zack Browning Very true.. Thank you for your service if you’re one of them. I’m a Military Veteran myself. All Respect.
@Zack Browning Aah ok. That’s awesome to hear that you’re getting involved early. Thank you as well. I served in the Army - 4th Infantry Division. During the 9/11 era.
@Zack Browning It was a very intense time. 9/11 was my very first day of boot camp ironically. I did my official swearing in in late August of 2001. From the gate we were trained for combat because of the situation at hand. We weren’t trained to operate enraged, that’s when mistakes happen. We were trained to operate with precision as failure wasn’t an option. The sense of brotherhood kicks in. We all have different jobs and have to come together as one unit.
@Zack Browning No problem at all! Good luck on your journey!
Absolutely! A real gem n gentleman, we need more cops like him, god bless his heart

STAN DUPP the man probably has a few months left, there’s no point in locking him up
Big facts
i
Dupp you know nothing of that man and what he’s been through he’s going to die very likely because of the things he was subjected to fighting as a soldier in are marine core. As much as I don’t want to see him do that to himself what ever it takes to make his last days on this earth what he wants them to be he’s earned it and then some in my book. No matter how he copes I promise you he a braver man than most of us because he has the courage to come home and live what life he had left . no matter how he lived it drugs don’t make people bad everyone makes a choice on how to live there life. Just because People have an addiction doesn’t mean they are thieves. In the end he will not be judged by man.
What a real cop wish we had more like him.
We do have a lot like him but you will never hear anything about them because anti cop stuff in the media gets more clicks and views..
We do have many, many, many, many more like him, you just don't know it.
Good advice with the medical cannabis. You know he wants to get high and it will actually help him with the cancer symptoms.
So true we need more good cops
95% police are like this gentleman. They serve and protect, it's what brought them into the line of duty.
Respect to you my brother. I’m glad you understand what we all gone through. Served the US Navy for over 30 years. Diagnosed with severe PTSD. But I’m not taking no illegal drugs. So much respect for older vets. They’re all diminishing gradually. Soon all it’s left are us Desert Veterans.
I’ll always hold high respect for my predecessors. Sadly I couldn’t stay in long enough to retire so I’ll never hold myself to the same respect on that end. But you all who put a huge amount of your life into serving. My entire respect is out to you.
Creds?

@STAN DUPP that's true, but what's the point in sending this man to jail given the conditions? The way you enforce the law must be within the borders of reasonableness and fairness. This cop chose to let him go and I think he made a good choice. Sorry for my English, dutch citizen here.

I surely hope that officer never gets taken for granted. He is a devoted good policeman, we need more cops with hearts and a passion for the people like him
Agreed
I agree too. And yet there are going to be people saying some percentage of officers are bad...
If this nice caring man writes you a ticket, or arrests you for a crime, you are likely to think he is some power mad jerk. It's human nature. I'm not saying all officers or all of any group of people are 100% good, but then my perceptions of people aren't 100% accurate either.
Also he's massive bro

Cole Shelman lack not slack😂 however that is very true

Amen said perfectly
If all PEOPLE were like him..
If more people weren't criminals the world would be a better place.
Yeah, they're like that in front of a camera.
There are more cops like him than you think. Most officers are like him, it’s the ones who aren’t like him that are the minority. The mainstream media doesn’t like stories like this video though, it doesn’t support their narrative and further drive a wedge between law enforcement and the communities they serve.
Now THIS is a cop, he protects and serves.
Plenty of cops just like him doing their job
... and serves, and serves...
Thank you, officer for caring. You’re a great example of what leading by example is all about.
So much honor and pride, wish there were more people like this. World would be a much better place.
It’s a shame officers like this don’t go viral like the bad ones do
@samavatar1991 It's because people watch 2 videos of bad cops as well as other videos that they don't understand or have the context and proceed to think every single cop is bad.
1 bad cop doesn’t make all cops bad.
1 good cop does make them all good.
Too many trigger happy cops. Cops are scared of minorities and minorities are scared of cops. Unless there’s a cultural shift where cops are not being disrespected in every way, nothing will change. Cops are supposed to be courageous and become example citizens, we are not there yet
@@xeldinn86 Exactly. Theres never context and most people online havent learned not to judge without context, which is embarrassing.

This Officer is always so respectful to everyone he comes in contact with. So touching😔😔
So respectful while he is illegally searching the car and pockets
Cory Burns lol go to bed bro who comments at 4 am on this . All the negative people are the ones probably walking around with drugs
As he and all officers should be. It’s kinda sad that we praise them for good behavior when that’s how they’re supposed to be in the first place😕
Man, that "On to the next one" hit me somehow.
Preston K. Productions just another day at the office for him. Helluva guy, for sure.
Word up.
Preston K. Productions fax💯

You're a good officer sir...
This is sad. I can’t even imagine losing your brother in that way after he served our country.

He's nothing but a zionist pawn.
Doesn’t even matter about the military service losing a loved one to drugs is hard either way
saved it from what exactly? people living in a desert 5000+ miles away over ocean? yeah right... your country is using you for profit stop justifying your stupid wars
karlyator k LOL like what? People getting killed by the Taliban isn’t justified? Wow.

1st. THANK YOU SIR... For fighting for all of us people out here and your family for letting you be the man out here as a officer of the law protecting us every day. Thank you. YOU MADE ME CRY FROM YOUR KINDESS..YOUR MAMA DID A GREAT JOB RAISING YOU...TY
Just imagine all the other awesome things this Officer has done throughout his career. I have a huge amount of respect for Policing that is done this way. Not just by him but by many others. Way to take the time to impact another human being with a dangerously difficult struggle. This is why alot of us do this incredibly important job. Thank you for your service. Endless respect!
Kacey Smith this!
Another reminder that police officers are human and have hearts.
You don't say
Still can’t deny the rotten bunch and can’t deny that this guy is a special type of cop/man.

Never have i ever heard of a cop referring weed to someone.
True asfk lmao.
Over meth, every cop would refer weed....
Its medical marijuana and it's only because the poor guy is suffering. This is a special circumstance.
@@ryansgirl74 it doesn't even have to be a special circumstance lol
world is changing
That cop is a REAL man. A GOOD man and a STRONG man. It takes strength to let your soft side, show and to reach out to someone who is drowning.
@@maxdom1706 What are you talking about. When did he throw people into the fire?
Well said very nice to hear.
Tomasz Dabrowski Drop the steroids, take a Xanax, and go away. Adults are trying to have a conversation and you obviously can’t handle that yet.
@@misssmisssymaria LOL Girl, you are hilarious. I'm dead. You are awesome.
