On of my best characters on my first full playthrough was Mia. She maxed out Speed Strength and Skill, i kept Vantage and gave her Adept. She completely wrecked everyone that was stupid enough to engage in close combat. Second playthrough she got garbage stats when I started talking her up mid game 😅
Best way to judge units is average stats and if they do things better than others in the same role. Her combat is no better than someone like Oscar (probably much worse actually) and she has less movement, no good 1-2 range options, and no weapon triangle control (despite this not really mattering in this game). Mia is not good.
Small things I would change : - Move Oscar to God Tier cuz he joins pretty early , good supports , plus it’s a complete beast after promotion and have access to axes. - I would move down Boyd and Makalov from Top tier to upper middle. Makalov cuz he joins mid game when Kieran , Oscar , Astrod and TITANIA are already destroying , and Boyd cuz lack of movement. - I would move Stefan to upper middle cuz of 3 main things , he comes with Astra already , has S rank sword , and have amazing bases when he joins and can handle himself. - Titania should be on her OWN TIER :)
Marcia is arguably better than Titania and Jill is right there as well. Titania is busted but so are those two (especially because of bexp) plus Titania tends to get outscaled late.

@@locloudanerpg technically, Jill is better. In the Greil Mercenaries' campaign, yeah you have Haar, but you also have Ike and Titania and Shinon and a bunch of other delete buttons. Meanwhile, in terms of raw combat, Jill's biggest competitor is Nolan, but she's the only flier, and the only non-infantry competition is Fiona.

The difference between Jill and Harr is that Harr already comes as a “complete package”, while Jill needs babying to become broken. Yes she carries the Dawn Brigade if train , but Dawn Brigade you can squeeze by also with Voluge , Sothe , Zihark, and on levels where you have Tauroneo or Nailah , is a wrap
Making Fire Emblem tier lists is extremely difficult since those games have a strong RNG factor which influence your units. I kind of disagree on some places, the worst offender being Nasir in the shit tier, but overall I think this tier list is fine. Nasir is not upper medium tier material but at least he has compentent stat and share the ability to damage the final boss with Ike and the royal laguz Also you missed Geoffrey
You just have to look at how good units are on average to limit that RNG component. Also, tier lists are mainly valuable for saying how quickly and easily a unit helps you beat the game, which Nasir doesn’t help much with considering late join and being completely outclassed/made obsolete by wrath resolve Ike
During my playthrough, Boyd was a one man army. Give that man Vantage, and he can clear maps damn near entirely by himself as almost every unit he comes across, he kills before they can get a hit. My latest run, Boyd was MVP with 190 kills under his belt. I may even throw Adept on him next time.
I think enough have commented about Nasir that I should make a slight revision. Nasir should be slightly higher because of his better stats and ability to hit the final boss. I’d move him to lower mid tier.
Bringing me back to my 8th 100% of PoR when I was like 13. And I had a list of challenges. Each time I beat it, I did something new (cause I was new to Fire Emblem games, so I didn't know any mechanics or how to play it). 1. Beat the Game 2. Beat the game, no deaths 3. Beat the game, all recruits no deaths 4. Beat the game with laguz and Ike only 5. Stefan exists? Okay, well, #3 but with Stefan 6. Black Knight Defeated, Ike Mist only run 7. Ike only, Black Knight not defeated

Good video, but some weird opinions. Especially Rolf is way too high. You can make him usable, but that doesn't change the fact that he's the worst character in the game by far. All the characters you placed below him can contribute to some extent without any investment.
In Ulki's defense, he at least shares a niche with Janaff in being one of only two units in the main game to get both flight and shove. It's not much but it's a niche. No canto shoving until the next game though. Even Sothe's cheaper use doesn't matter since the game showers you with cash and Volke's prices are dead cheap. Still, if you get Volke killed or have a map where multiple thieves can be useful he can be worth deploying. Soren's arguably the best combat unit in the Japanese version since that version has the 100% crit thunder tome glitch, and he can combo vantage and adept together. How to use Astrid: Have her chip or even kill units in her join map then canto to safety, dump bexp which will be cheaper with her paragon, promote and grab axes, give her forged hand axes and a forged steel axe, profit. If only she were this good in the next game...

I'll start by saying I'm aware it's a massive sink of the bonus exp but: Ena is cracked. Easily God tier broken if you've saved up your bonus exp from the entire freaking game lol
Replying to myself as I watch the video Rolf is also GOD tier but requires a lot to go into the stage you get him. You need to craft the strongest bow he can get with max attack buffs. Give it to him on the stage you get him and continue to shoot, shove/rescue, repeat against the boss until he's a good level. Then he's caught up on the level you get him.
I cannot get behind wasting the early game exp on an already promoted unit as the number 1 choice lol Over all great video. I play the game differently obviously and that's okay
My favorite character here is Oscar beacause he has lot damage and tanky enough to take heavy damages and Zihark because his attack has a high crit ratio😁
Astrid just snowballed for me, the level after I got her has a bunch of bridges on it, just had my two armored knights stand side by side with no weapons with Astrid behind them fire bow canto out mist heal rinse and repeat, she almost promoted by the end of that level, when she did I gave her a hand axe and she never misses and doubles on everything
I feel like swords and axes are easily the best, especially axes. I think spears are the worst just because their aren't too many enemies in fire emblem games that have swords, the early maps have brigands with axes and the later maps have knights with both axes and spears, but swords are mostly used by the heroes.
There are actually a decent amount of sword users in this game, swords are without a doubt the worst weapon to have your characters be stuck with, they have no range counters, axes get hand Axes, and spears get javelins allowing them to counter archers
Fair list, however Stefan needs to higher tier. Prepromotes are just super OP, even if they aren't the most optimal class. Also, Astrid should be above Kieran. Boyd on a horse is nice, but Paragon allows her to be stupidly proficient with Exp, alongside Knight's Ward and Steel Axes on Promotions, making her a monster. And Zihark and Mia prob should be switched, since Zihark has higher bases, slightly higher growths and Adept, while Mia just has arguably better supports, and higher availability, Which doesn't really amount to much (Not super important anyways)
Rolf not being in shit tier is a strange choice. An archer with poor base stats and below average end game potential, that's all that Rolf is. He has no advantages over the units in shit tier, in fact Taureno is really damn good for endgame for enemy phase tanking. I disagree with a fair few choices here but Rolf is the one that stands out the most.
Level 10 on Soren has better stats on average plus he comes with adept. Ilyana and him are still largely interchangeable tho but Soren is slightly better. Ilyana’s best selling point is being a higher level when you get her but bexp is so abundant that it doesn’t really matter

Axes were bad in the early games but that wasn't even due to the weapon triangle most of the time. In FE1 no axe units could promote, in FE2 no axe users are even playable, in FE3 again no axe units, FE4 axes have terrible weight stats making all of them useless except the brave axe. In FE5 they're actually good, in FE6 their hit stats are awful so axes are bad again. Every game after 6, axes are fine if not the best weapon type. There certainly are plenty of bad axe units in the games after 6 but it's not a problem with the weapon type itself. Honestly swords are probably historically worse than axes at this point. Lack of 1-2 range and low power has had them be one of the worse weapon types in every game after 6 except SoV.
Swords are generally considered the worst of the basic weapon triangle because in FE6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, and 13, there are no common swords that have 1-2 range. (This is also the case in FE15 and 16 but the mechanics of those games don't make that a problem.) Furthermore, in FE10, while swords have reliable 1-2 range, you can only forge swords that have 1 range. So for half the games in the series, being swordlocked is a huge hit to viability.
Ike, Rolf,jill, nephenee for me Totally disagree with titania always remove her weapons and use her to draw aggro then bench her.. Every run i did these 3 always got insane stat ups and i played this game a looot

Titania is the third best unit in the game at worst, tons of availability, great stats when you get her, and solid performance throughout the whole game. Even if you manage to get unlucky or if her growths weren't good her earlygame performance alone would make her useful. Honestly, I'm surprised Rolf didn't get Shit tier and managed for low tier. His bases are awful, is footlocked in a game where mounts are even more busted than usual, and bowlocked in a game where 1-2 range is king. These are just the problems he's stuck with when trained, let's not forget how much investment he requires to get any use out of him at all. Yes he's fine if trained (as fine as a bowlocked infantry unit can be in this game) but you could just put those resources into units that start better and/or end up better.

I have to disagree with you on Reyson. I don't like Reyson at all, he is very weak and it's a pain to have him wait 5 turns to change into a bird, he has 5 movement which makes it hard to keep up, unless you give him a Celerity or use a Laguz Stone which has limited uses. I don't like that he can't fight back and he's very weak against archer units and can die very easily and is easily targeted by enemy units. Yes while you can give up to 4 units a second turn, it doesn't change the fact that he's a weak unit. I'd rather skip using Reyson and replace him with Princess Crimea. Also I don't even like the Laguz units in the game since they can't fight unless they're transformed into beasts unless they're flying bird unit characters. Seriously I'd rather have Jill, Marcia, Mist, Ike instead or units with bow and arrows. I never want to use Reyson ever again.

Illyana and Soren are DEFINITELY not interchangeable. Soren has 10% more growths than Illyana in both speed and magic.

@@nachohangover5104 i know but i always get shafted with her so after the tenth playthrough i stopped using her. Like she always gets critted for example so she is my cursed unit
@@alexandrejesus8709 Since we're going by Personal experience (Which BTW, isn't substantial when discussing objective unit viability.) If Titania is consistently dying by enemy crits, why not give her Ashera Icons and have her equip the Sword Band to help mitigate this issue?

I have to disagree with you on Reyson.
I don't like Reyson at all, he is very weak and it's a pain to have him wait 5 turns to change into a bird, he has 5 movement which makes it hard to keep up, unless you give him a Celerity or use a Laguz Stone which has limited uses. I don't like that he can't fight back and he's very weak against archer units and can die very easily and is easily targeted by enemy units.
Yes while you can give up to 4 units a second turn, it doesn't change the fact that he's a weak unit. I'd rather skip using Reyson and replace him with Princess Crimea.
Also I don't even like the Laguz units in the game since they can't fight unless they're transformed into beasts unless they're flying bird unit characters.
Seriously I'd rather have Jill, Marcia, Mist, Ike instead or units with bow and arrows. I never want to use Reyson ever again.
