They amended some of the areas you can fly over. I’ll showcase it in the next vid. Fliers are still insane but some of the geography isn’t nearly as abusable
Good video but I wanna just point out if you want more then two staff units (or they just got screwed) you need to promote a mage to sage healing isn't bad for this game w/o staves but it's always good to have the utility
he's limited to swords which means very limited 1-2 range options. even if his stats become incredible most any unit with good stats will become a monster when fully trained. unfortunately in fire emblem being limited to swords only is one of the worst possible things you can be, as cool as the swordmaster class is.
@@Orcawsom Mist is one of the only good sword locked (Offensive weapon, she can use staves but thats more of a utility weapon so I dont really count it) units in the game and since her only 2 good weapons are ones the game is stingy as hell about giving out, a lot of people dont really even see just how strong she is with them (and oh man is she good with them. ). It just sucks because it takes a considerable investment to actually get her sword skill to that point and you hardly get to use it because of the availability problems. You hardly get any of the good tomes and 1-2 range weapons while enemy units have loads of them. Sages really suffer because of the lack of high level tomes as well. If you got more siege tomes they would be considerably better.
@@ronjohnson2760 that's the problem, the game is so stingy about it that it's practically not worth training her so she can be good with one weapon for the few kills she'll actually get with them. on top of that you have to be mindful about training the sword rank unless you're saving all your arms scrolls for just this reason. (which, honestly. it's either this or getting Rexbolt on someone cause high weapon ranks aren't for much in this game anyways. or just sell em for money.) at least Mist is good for other reasons, like being a mounted staffer. so it's kinda hard to lump her in with 'sword locked' units i think.
Blossom is neat but makes Sothe a BEXP drain since it isn't worthwhile to train him in the field. Even after maxing out his level, he'll generally flop as a combat unit whereas Volke starts and remains somewhat combat ready at the cost of a small amount of gold.
titania imo is one of the lesser good units… she‘s only useful in early game but loses a lot of power later on, or i was just unlucky with her rolls idk.. oscar and kevin did way better for me edit: oh he‘s called kieran in the english version, sorry
Dude, you made so many egregious mistakes like: 1. "Forge a weapon so he can double attack more often." and 2. "Giffca (final chapter, etc) is (are) comparable to RAGNELL, Ike, Titania, and Jill." I know you say you've played the game about a hundred times. But I honestly don't think you own a copy 🫠
You can lower weapon weight which can allow you to double more consistently. If a weapons weight is higher than the characters con, they lose speed. So for example, if a weapon is 13 weight, but a character only has 10 con, they lose 3 speed when attacking with that weapon. But if you lower that weapons weight to 10 with the forge, they lose no speed when using that weapon.
@@Icemario87 Yeah its kinda niche, but its useful on axes. If youre forging a hand axe for boyd for instance, which is 13 weight and 10 con, it can be useful, since he struggles to double faster units. I prioritize it second to last behind mt and hit, but over crit. Mostly something to keep in mind with units that struggle with speed.
"Ragnell Ike" he said, as in Ike with Ragnell. Ike shoots up in utility once he gets Ragnell, finally having a powerful unbreakable 1-2 range weapon. at the cost of that upgrade itself being a very late game thing. Much like the final chapter laguz coming late with incredible power.
Your edits and overall video style was phenomenal and very fun to watch boss man, amazing work.
Much appreciated!
great video, this was a super helpful guide for my next POR playthrough
Glad I could help!
7:08 How was it fixed in Radiant Dawn? Fliers are by far the most broken units in that game too *cough cough* Haar *cough cough*

@@LC356 Ah, I never noticed that in my playthrough. I’ll be sure to check that out. Great video man!
Much appreciated bro 👌🏿

Top 10 powerful unit by serenes :
- 10 : Astrid
- 9 : Boyd
- 8 : Ike
- 7 : Tanith
- 6 : Oscar
- 5 : Kieran
- 4 : Jill
- 3 : Marcia
- 2 : Reyson
- 1 : Titania
Looks like I got them all. Plus a few extra :)
I could easly put Nephenee instead Tanith, in my opinion
And over half of this list consists of mounted units. Why the borking heck am I not surprised?
I agree with these entirely, maybe not in that order but those are all there in my endgame team + soren and mia
@@RaultzCantu nephenee on path of radiance is so suck lol. E rank lance, low HP and str.

Where's shinnon & rolf ???
Nice video bro
I hate to be that guy, but... it's "cavalry" not "calvary"
