Looks good. If you are riding all year round, you really don`t want to be trying to maintain chrome and polished alloy, save the shiny bits for the summer bike.

I've always loved the distressed look. To take the bike back to original condition would have cost twice as much as it was worth.

    Passed ma test on a CB 2 1/2 . The clip-ons are a neat touch , so's the leather .

Hi Laurence, over my 40 odd years I've had two 250cc the first one on L plates and the second one I used as a commuter like the 400cc. Amazing reliable bikes.

I had a bike shop for 6 years . The CD175 was maybe the most overengineered engine I've stripped , all the bearing were massive . They could have done 500,000 if cherished .
400 is the right power to weight ratio for those engines , 250's a bit underpowered but reliable , but won out with the provie license limit .
      Cheers Mick .

Have you seen the first video when I get it running, I left it outside for almost 20 years put oil down the barrel and turned it over with a bar and started it. Still haven't had the motor apart 🤣 th-cam.com/video/5AYX_5pEtWs/w-d-xo.html
