That was a lot of work indeed and it turned out beautiful. Thanks dad for helping me out building this project. I'm very excited to go to the Northcape with this bike.
Very nice. You can see the joy of making the bike beautiful again. 👍💪👏 I know that from my Transalp too... one push of a button and it's up and running.
Lekker gewerkt mannen!
Had the exact same year, model, color scheme etc. as my first serious bike Took it through much of Croatia and Northern Italy two up in less than a year. Loved every minute.
Can hardly wait for the start of your journey in the following vlogs. Enjoy the ride and I wish you both all the best on your new adventure to the Northcape together!!!

Thank you for your response. Yes, it was beautiful work and the trip a great reward and a wonderful experience to do this with my son. However, there were more problems with the Transalp which meant we had to take the engine completely apart. A vlog on that soon.

Fine bike the Trans Alp 750. We rode it, as you can see in the last video. But the 750 is a bit on the big side to take with us in our Campers. Robin already has a CB 500 which is a bit less top-heavy and easier to fit in the VAN. Thanks for your comments. Always appreciate that mate.
Robin kan dat maar we zijn nu in Portugal. Helaas voor jou. Verder ken ik niemand die het zou kunnen. Probeer het bij een stoffeerder. Denk dat die het wel kan. Dank voor je complimentje, doet me goed. Succes! Laat me het even weten, altijd leuk.
Hello! I have a similar bike and engine is running faulty. I don't have any shop in the area, to take it there, so I try like to fix it myself. Do you have any manual for this type of bike? Or you did it using just your expertise? It would be very helpful. Thank you
Yes, I mainly use my knowledge of engines. What is needed though is to know the measurements for the valve clearances. But that doesn't make the engine run very badly. That can have many causes that you need to check one by one. Not so explainable for me. But they are engines you can easily work on. I am sure you will succeed! Thanks for your question.

Well done! I bought one from 1996 with the aim of bringing it back to glory.
Beautiful! Have fun restoring your bike. The machine is well worth it and you will be able to get a lot out of it. Thanks for your response.

I have a 1989 Transalp that I really love. I appreciate the work you did to bring this 1995 TA back to looking brand new. Very good work!
Thank you for your response. Yes, it is a fine engine and was worth the work. Yours is even more original. Enjoy it.

This is far away from making it like new, like any restoration should be. This should be called "Making up Transalp to look like a new".
Yes you are right mate, nothing is what it seems it is.
