I've had my XCeed PHEV for 4 years. It's comfortable, quiet and makes a great car over long distances. The only issues I have are the redued boot space and the batteries now failing to deliver anywhere near 36 miles of EV only range.
Bought a 2022 Xceed about a week ago. I do about 400 miles a week including winding back roads, motorways and urban madness. Then it's full on family life at the weekends. The car's great for people who don't want to own up to owning a boring hatchback. I hired a Ceed and found it to be the most comfortable car I'd driven in years (and I'd hired Mercs among many others) but didn't like the look of it so was VERY relieved to find they'd made the Xceed. Admittedly I have the full spec but while the engine, gear box and steering are uninspiring the car built around them is great and shortcomings are quickly forgotten. Not surprised the Xceed is one of the best selling second hand cars as the seven year warrantee make it a no-brainer. Also one of the league leaders for reliability. A 2 litre version with more sensitive steering would compete with cars way more expensive but as it is it makes a great choice for people who don't want to pay those prices.
I had this car for more than 4 years. But I HAD to add full noise insulation, otherwise it was very uncomfortable over 70 kmh. Seats a notch below VW, and like miles away from a BMW 1 series. Do not pick this if you plan to travel more than 2 hours. Also drive handling was ok, but not fun.
The xceed is the height of what traditional hatchbacks used to be. Manufacturers now lower hatchbacks to add these crossovers to the lineup but charge a couple grand more!
If you consider the price you should compare this car with a Trock not with a Tiguan, Porsche, Formentor from VW group. As we all know X5 is better than Tiguan. And than a cheap Kia is far more better than a cheap Polo.
What is the point of this girl being so weak in cars analysis, that is the real question, because the xceed is a great car as a connoisseur knows right away, better luck next time, in the future prepare yourself to avoid embarassment!
There is no doubt, it's a handsome looking car, but come on Kia, the dash is awful. Given what's available in even cars that are cheaper, this is just lazy.

A bit disingenuous to compare this car with the Tiguan, which is both larger and £10K more expensive. Otherwise a nice review.
Rebecca, Happy Mother's Day, here across the pond..🙋🥳👍

Good looking car
Looks good to me
Between this one and the cupra formentor which one is the best choice?
Kia!
I would choose the Formentor, it's basically VW tech! But I maybe biased cause of the looks!
Formentor is way more expensive than this. Nice looking car. If you want something cheaper and more reliable get the Xceed
@@drazman9 VW is crap and we know that!

Thanks again for the great review, the car looks the same and so does your coat from four years ago, coincidence? 😀Did I win something?
Hartmann Terrace
Nat Junction
This car is NOTHING on my Xceed Special First Edition which has absolutely everything compared to this average Joe lol

The dash is great in my opinion!
Dash is simple to use, which a lot of cars now are making it complicated
The name xceed comes from exceed your buget.
The rear LED lights are hideous and so tacky
Are you in front of a mirror?
