As a shy 37 yo mum of 3 with serious anxiety issues I recently started MT training at our local gym as a fun activity to help me get in shape, break the "anxiety" barriers and build my self confidence; and now I'm addicted! I find your videos so on point, accurate and easy to follow, and they really help me keep busy at home and in the gym as we are sadly losing our trainer and classes are being cancelled soon 😭💔 Thanks so much and please don't stop!

I am 44 years young now. Did Muay thai from 16-28. After 28 I just let it go! 18 pro fights and 10 amateur. On Monday… this Monday! In 48 hours I am going to my first Muay thai training in 16 years! I am not! Going to try a comeback as a pro! Just thought that it’s something I feel comfortable with! And I need to take of 10-15 pounds. BUT! I’m so nervous! That I feel sick! Feel so out of shape and gun shy.. Just think of me on Monday and give me a prayer. Muay Thai is the most beautiful and awesome sport in the world! Thanks for putting these videos out brother. And it’s time for me to let that old warrior rise again. Blessings to you all! I am 34 and have scarcely exercised in my life. I was and remain embarrassed about my lack of coordination, strength and athleticism, but joined a Muay Thai gym a couple of weeks ago and really enjoy it. I am very self conscious when it comes to shadow boxing because of my lack of technical skill and general fighting creativity and so I am grateful for this video a lot. It has really taken a lot of the mystery out of the process and given me a lot of good ideas to practise with, thank you

I was ready that muay thai didn't have foot work like boxing. From your drills I see it does. I was debating which one I wanted to do. Im interested in muay thai to use all my limbs. Boxing for the foot work. Very informative video thanks

Alright, I have been doing this for a few days now. So imma write all my progress down
    Day #1
    > Practiced drill 1 that is jab, cross, hook and uppercut.
    > Had a hard time learning the footwork.
    > Spend around an hour learning this, although not continuously but whenever I had the time to.
    > Got immensely better at Jab and Cross, decided to leave hook and uppercut for next day.
    > Practiced hitting at my wall for few jabs and crosses.
    Day #2
    > My right trap was sore as I practiced Jab more than Cross.
    > Attempted hook and uppercut, failed miserably and my form kept breaking.
    > Footwork got considerably better.
    > Practiced drill #1 only.
    > Kept aiming for a good form.
    Day #3
    > rest day
    > Did soft gym session, hit PR with squats and praticed flexibility and mobility with drills like jumping squats, explosive pushups, pullups, farmer carry and a lot of stretching.
    Day #4
    > Praticed drill #1 for the last time
    > lightly conditioned by elbows and knuckles by hitting the wall. Although not in excess.
    Day #5-9
    > no workout as traps were soared and made it difficult for basic things like walking and such.
    > Knuckles popped out more than before.
    Day #10
    > Practiced drill #2 AND #3, although the basics were difficult for me to grasp; this part made me feel amazing as I kept progressing extremely quick with desirable results.
    > My muscle memory corrected my form every time and it had become default for me.
    > Felt little to no pain hitting walls.
    > Speed increased.
    > My reaction time was good even before the training regime started.
    > Footwork is good.
    Day #11
    > Praticed drill #4.
    > Did few reps per leg as I did not want to accidentally injure my legs as it's my time with such movement.
    > Did 2x10 drill #1
    > 3x8 drill #2
    > 3x12 drill #3
Will update as I progress on.

Today I finally return to martial arts, my first ever drills I learn when I was younger was Muay Thai, since I been doing these drills today I had problem with my walking keeps and teeps additional with my balancing.. but these drills are the fundamental but the first steps to it are always the hardest.
