Of people vs a raspberry pi or mame inside a cabinet. The pandora’s boxes will never lose their settings.
I agree but it is much much more enjoyable if u know enough raspberry to modify as I wish, to add more games or to delete I wanted games or to try games , to change opening video, u can even put any video on opening. These are much more enjoyable
@@guybrushthreepwood1118 adding/deleting and customizing can be very hard,especially when you are new.

It looks fairly decent, although QA could do with a kick up the arse tho. But like you say, it's quite a price tag for what you're getting. Good honest review 👍
Cant agree. As you said the bartops of poor quality. And there is little to no price difference between this and a better build from alibaba with a slightly larger screen and for the same price. Pass for me.

i like the size of it but . it might be something for the mc to have at the bar. but i cant get why they still keep on using that old outdated hardware. i wish pandoras box had some serious power so we could emulate some gamecube and ps2. that would be a game changer.
I think software quality is holding back on that more than hardware. If Dreamcast is possible on these platforms, PS2 and Gamecube shouldn't be that far off in theory. I remember on Windows there were decent Gamecube emulators before decent Dreamcast emulators, so I would at least expect that a bit down the line.
@@cabbusses in this case its an hardware and software issue . pandoras box is usually made out of outdated hardware. and is all good sine the games that are futured dont have that high demands.
dreamcast is easier to emulate and dosent have that high demands as ps2 have. and also ps2 is a newer console than the dreamcast.
I swear everyone always picked Raiden, scorpion, or subzero as if the other characters didn't even exist (mortal kombat) lol...

They're gonna have to start making these things with 25-inch 4:3 monitors. Wide-screen just don't cut it for the old school effect.
For what you get, I think this is worth it. I prefer single cabs but I do like it...Swap out the pandorabox though

I make the same thing but mine use official consoles inside or I use a x88pro Android puck with a emulation station frontend .I use 38 inch Vizio flat screen tvs for my monitors 🤘🤓 that way you bump shoulders when you and a friend play
Nice cab, but confusing video i/o. VGA input to the screen, although the main control box has an HDMI output, and the screen has an HDMI output. Very typical backwards engineering 🤪 Fantastic video as always Wicked! 👏👏👍👍

There is an abundance of i3/i5/i7 used mini pc's out there for less than 60 bucks; I'm surprised, no one has thought about repurposing those to design something similar to these bartops with say Batocera. I would gladly pay 400 to 600 for something that has more the ample power for emulation.

PS7000- Hi anyone can help? Linux based? and comes with a built in player and reader BUT cant read PDF's and my MP4 files i added play video nicely but the audio on 3 out of 4 is off quite a lot 30 secs?? So as its Linux based, can you add PROGRAMS such as VLC , PDF reader ect or whatever is Linux compatible or NO as the Board is fixed and programmed as is. I assume some have reprogrammed the board anyway? but that is beyond what i ask or tools i have. So can you only add files to the TF card and not programs? Thanks..

I know a duel screen cabinet is a little impracticable to own at home sense they're mostly used for fighting games but it would be a Awsome peice to have in a collection.

Vga supports a hd signal so for these type boxes vga is perfectly fine

@@WickedGamerCollector Actually, for my Pandora's Box setups I connect to my PC monitors through VGA. Less input lag than through the HDMI. It works really great if you've got older monitors with square aspect ratios. Maybe someday I'll look for a CRT...
