I find Mega Man 3 on Gameboy to be the most difficult Mega Man game I've ever played. I believe that in this regard, it's the fact that Mega Man himself seems to take far more damage from every hit than he does in every other game in the classic series. I don't begrudge you the deaths in this playthrough one bit.
Raine Phoenix also, the game asks you to do a ton of things that no other Megaman asked you to do. Add to that the crazy amounts of slow down and weird hit detection, especially on Rush and some of the platforms, and you end up with a really difficult game that is sometimes extremely unfair. I mean, there are tons of rooms were you just enter the room and either die or get hit for half of your health because you didn't know what was coming up.
Yeah. Though they did nerf shadow man to where he's not as hard to defeat without the weapon he's weak against, at least not as difficult as the NES counterpart. I found the difficulty of the stages rely upon awkward timing and placement of objects and enemies. This game is strategic in its unfairness. Wouldn't quite call it lazy challenge, though.
way to enhance what is probably the best "got weapon" music in the entire franchise.... also great work with skull man's theme. too bad the ending theme isn't in there though, it's also great. this game's exclusive tunes were pretty spot on, really.
Well this is unexpected! I went and bought the soundtrack, thanks a ton. But what about NES Megaman 5 VRC6? Any idea on an ETA? I've been waiting with great anticipation for that, as I am a huge fan of it's OST.
I've actually died and gone to heaven. So, how long until mm5 and 6? Also, is this literally just a port of 3? That's kinda disappointing. The previous GB games changed and mixed together elements from the previous games, so I was expecting something like that.
the intro sent shivers down my spine...
a truly magical experience!
Ahh... my first ever Mega Man game, with a beautifully remade soundtrack. Awesome stuff!
I THOUGHT THIS WAS A JOKE I LOVE YOU
I can't believe you've done this
Did you just... _Double April Fool_ us?
Dust Man’s stage is the worst designed stage in all of Mega Man
I love the sped-up MM3 Wily Boss theme! Also, nice reprise of the MM1 Wily Boss theme for Wily's second form!
This take on the MM1 boss theme was delicious! I also forgot how much I liked your take on Dust Man. Good show, my man.
THE MADMAN DID IT!!!
Also, I really enjoy the rave version of Snake Man’s theme
Oh my god I love/hate you.
Solren the best response to an April fool's joke
Dust Man's theme is so jazzy I love it.
32:01 - KING CRIMSON!
OH! Well this was certainly fantastic! Thank you so much!
Happy holiday of your choice, by the way!
This is awesome! You do the big hard work!
13:38 * vibin with the Spark man stage music*

Me : Hey! Where's Punk's theme!? It's supposed to be---20 seconds later--> You're awesome dude

These are like Mega Man X mobile graphics. I don't think it looks good
ThatEntityGuy Smooth pixels doesn’t look good on a lot of things.
@@notaducc I beg to differ.
Played at 144p resolution to get the pixels back
I still think that whoever designed Dust Man's level in this game (and perhaps Dive Man's) should spend an eternity in hell
Amazing job man! Hopefully you'll get the support needed to make MMV Remade.
Oh, he wasn't joking... I'm down.
Wait...WHAT?! AWESOME! Did not expect to see something like this today!
Okay WOW, I wasn’t expecting new tracks for this oh shit.
Taking April Fools to the next level.
April fool's ,2022
I really don't care about the Game Boy Mega Man games, but the soundtrack is still good, just like any other Capcom game.
Well this is unexpected! I went and bought the soundtrack, thanks a ton.

Satoshi Matrix I heard he's doing MMV GB first
where'd you hear that?
Satoshi Matrix his twitter
Yay!
EDDY C. Lucky you.
Yo you forgot to ad that on your Megaman playlist collection
Oh look, another album to buy up and slap all over my drives and ancient ipod. :v
the absolute madman
you actually did it....
Oh hell yeah!!
The only April Fools where I'm god damned happy to be the fool! :]
edit: Also, can we have the .NSF?
Added it to the description.
Thanks!
Okay, I have to know - is the visual smoothing a video editing thing or is there a fan recreation of MMIII that does this? I'm really digging it.
It's a filter in visualboyadvance-m.
Sweet. I'll have to try that out sometime. Thanks.

Comonavi I just saw them, I feel like a fool now.
the fortress stages and fortress bosses are new, if that means anything.
That wasn't an April Fools joke?!
..oh.
That or the joke itself was a joke too. That got super meta very fast.
Just took a good listen myself, fam. Only question: Why is Dust Man...swing? Of all songs, why this one at this time?
Paul Mann IV Why not?
spicy depression
Where's the ending theme??
Angus Beer I don't do ending themes for Megaman 3 or III
RushJet1 WHY YOU?!?!
@@oblinathemonster3392
Don't yell him like that. It's not going to help.
OK then. I will accept.
YES!
Drill (Dance) Man
What happened to the ending theme?
Holy crap! You really had me fooled!
PLEASE tell me this means you'll do Mega Man V GB at some point!
Good news man
Stop bliping megaman lazer
cover playthrough 5
Is the joke the fact you haven't made a Megaman I(GB) Remade but now you are doing a Megaman III(GB) Remade?
WAIT WHAT
Nice
Almost every aspect of these remixed themes are awesome. But the gameplay is ruined by the filter that makes the graphics look "hand drawn."
ngl these keep getting underwhelming
I've gotta ask if there's gonna be an FTM of this as well
Added it to the description.
Hey, thank you! I love this!
