yup.. worrying idd...
also..lets put it together withot any shims or anywear near enugh grease while we rub more sand into the bearings.... luckkily its a heavy machine... but idd worrying... but to be entierly fair...they do as best they can with limited tools and knowledge... im confident it will work for a long time after... (if it doesent stand still for prolonged times after it has rained... its not near enugh grease to protect from water damage...)

Not to mention heating the bearings with oily rags, i was hoping to see them put the locking nuts back on those destroyed on the ends of the shaft.
The grit helps lap the bearings in. 😂
As far as I could see, they only greased half of each bearing as well, so will the poor assembly method or the lack of grease cause the premature failure?
@@chrissometimes7473 i saw that too. I saw no indication on disassembly that this thing gets any lube from an external source so thats likely all the lube it will ever get. Its just gonna crash again but the customer will not know how shitty the repair was. Unless he watches it on You Tube of course.

на каленый вал насрали электродной сваркой и обточили - зачем такие трудности? можно было просто тряпок подмотать под подшипники, было бы примерно то же самое
насрать сваркой и обточить это общемировой колхоз ремонт!!! мне так коленвал восстанавливали ибо иотор был очень старый и новый просто не найти
Норм технология, под подшипник твердость не нужна особая. Более продвинутая наплавка спец присадкой в среде аргона или плазменное напыление, звучит и выглядит конечно оч современно но по сути тоже самое.
Кстати сварщик не насрал, шлак корочкой отошел. Что без балды говорит о его хорошей квалификации. И кстати такие крупные и дорогие детали во всем мире только так и восстанавливают в основном.
Пусть не смущает вас грязная обстановка кругом, так практически везде.

these videos are mostly from pakistan not india
notice how they never use any solvent to loosen nuts or bolts, the indian way.. that's why they suffer so much failure, they dont care but each time you do this the metal get deformed and worn, soon the nut or bolt does have the hold and strength.. FAIL especially on pressed on part its all about brute force for them 98% of the time, not good for these case hardened metals to be pounded on like this they are brittle and get hairline fractures, FAIL, specially bearing races so forth, but they do it all the time.. they will grind and weld spring steel, no jokes and never temper it again.. so the weak spot is the weld, it fails sooner than later.. and there goes another truck down the wrong side of the road, its job security for them I spose? but when people's lives are at stake, you need a different occupation.. here its just money, but motor vehicles they apply the same mentaily and procedures, brute force, call it a day

It's the first time I've seen a ram being used to disassemble a crusher shaft. My grandfather took apart jaw crushers, my dad took apart crushers and until recently I took apart crushers. But I've never seen this. I wonder what condition the locknut seat on the masthead was in, after all that beating

Normally you'd place some timber or something to absorb the blow, i was waiting to see how they screwed the locking nuts (castle nuts) back on, I'm not surprised they didn't show it has they'd destroyed the fine threads on the ends of the shaft.
I have actually used a swinging steel shaft like that in a machine shop and it works great. We made a bronze plate to bolt to the end of the shaft to protect it. Was a huge 8” diameter taper fit about 15” long. Had a big 40” diameter gear on it we had to get off. We heated the gear with torches and expected it to come right off because of the taper fit. No such luck. One of us made the bronze plate right quick while me and another guy found a big scrap shaft about the size these guys had. An hour later put heat back on the gear and 3 hits with the ram and it popped off. Big fun.
@@martinswiney2192 I did my apprenticeship on huge 20,000 ton crank and screw power presses, we had a purpose built ram 'Big Bertha' it had a eye fitted at the balance point, it was probably over an 100 years old, you never hit straight on to the end of a shaft, you'll mushroom it but even worse hit it against a fine thread on the end of the shaft, they didn't show putting the nuts they'd battered the life out of being put back on, they could have easily made a 'C' spanner, they heated the bearings with oily rags filling them with dirt, even before the invention of bearing heaters, 200 years ago they were put in a tub of oil and you put your fire under the tub, this machine will shake and rumble and last no time at all.
@@hetrodoxly1203 yeah. Thats why when we did it on the fly we took the extra time to find a bronze plate, just scrap that was handy. Drilled a bolt hole thru the middle and countersunk it so the bolt head was below flush (single bolt to hold cap in place, i think whoever assembled this had heated the gear slightly before assembly) then heated gear back up and whopped it. No damage to the shaft. And yes they ruined those bearings in several ways. Rolling i dirt and heating with fire. Notice the nice blue color of the inner race when they slide them on the shaft. Heat treating is gone now. I use an induction bearing heater all the time. Another fun story is when heating up a $15k bearing on a gear box rush rebuild. Late night. Pizza delivered. Then we remembered the bearing on the induction heater. It was well past blue on the inner and outer races and rollers. Boss man was supposed to be watching it but he was eating pizza like the rest of us. Lol.
@@martinswiney2192 I'm retired now but i was still heating bearings in oil up until i finished, small bearings don't need much heat, I'd place them on top of a radiator, if a large shaft had to pass through the bearings in their housing we'd shrink the shaft, put it in a bag and fill it with nitrogen, hard work but happy days now long gone, they no longer scrape phosphor bronze bearings, they're turned to size but don't last very long.

abom eat your heart out. Love this kind of work. Super tough and they are impressive. The ram action is un-heard of here in anti-sketch countries. But when you need it you can do it.
maybe if you didn't work in the dirt and mud you might not get new parts filthy, parts might last longer? good grief they just don't seem to understand what case hardened means or the process, so they put that case hardened race in a fire then just slap it on the axle, no more case hardened race.. wears prematurely, they make presses for these for a reason.. if you used ANY sort of temperature cheat for lack of a proper press you freeze the axle, it shrinks, build a wooden box to house the axle with about 6" clearance all around, place dry ice in with axle, it seal for 2-3 hours.. this doesn't affect the temper in any way, in fact there is evidence super freezing metal makes it even more durable... you don't put the brand new freakin bearing races in a fire, you just destroyed the temper.. good grief

У таких дробилок срок службы 80 лет при адекватной эксплуатации.
В этой дробилки по ее состоянию видно что очень лайтовая эксплуатация. Единственная беда много пили.
Если бы они поставили маслёнки и пилезащиту, то она бы прослужила ещё 20 лет.
А так привезут ее через два года, опять на наварку и проточку посадочных потому что и за малого количества смазки и большого количества пыли идёт износ.
Короче робота будет😉

Просто предствь, что тебе такие шиномонтаж сделают, ты им ещё деньги заплатишь, а через сто метров на встречку улетишь... Некоторые работу могут выполнять только профессионалы, а эти туфтыжники максимум могут из жести вёдра для мусора клепать, и то скорее всего дырявые будут...
Some of the best pollution controls I’ve ever seen. Environmental impact is near 0. Grease and oil reclamation is awesome. Just scoop it up and burn it in your kitchen stove. Employee protection from particulate inhalation is top notch. And check out the open toe foot protection. Wait I think Joe only has 7 toes.

These guys are truly impressive but I wonder why lift that shaft using an old , frayed drive belt when a nice chain is right there?
The rubber drive belt will not Mar up the surface and it also grips better than a chain. Normally a big fabric lifting strap is used but guess you gotta work with what you have.

Those bearings are junk. You need a hydraulic press to get them in without damage.
Knocking the bearing with copper hammer will be more appropriate! I use to work in konstruction office at Osborn-Coalequip in South Africa🙂
