Musetti's game gives me the same feeling as Emma Navarro's. It's just beautiful to watch. He is maturing nicely even if we all feel it's overdue. It's really not. He's still so young, and not everyone reaches their potential before age 20 like Rafa or Carlos... Having said that, I'll just be repetitive again - taking 3 sets against Djokovic in a Slam is still the biggest challenge in the sport. Let's see and enjoy!
cmon gary u hv to kind of push these guys to atleast do mens semis watchalongs of course i will also comment on the next video but lets kind of push them together
Musetti really has had a great year! I know he didn’t win against Djokovic at RG but he still played a great match! I would love to see him beat Djokovic! You never what can happen? Forza! 🇮🇹
Actually his year before grass-court tennis was kind of rubbish. Too bad the grass season is so short; he's beginning to love grass and it shows. Forza indeed!
@@andieolivia learn English "You never know what can happen" and dream on
Congrats on England reaching the finals Ben and JG! So exciting for your country! 🏴🎉⚽️
JG oughta start the next podcast giving Barbora major props! All week he’s been VERY dismissive of her and look at her now. Into the final. Collins, Ostapenko and now Rybakina. What an incredible run! She has a champion’s mindset.
Golden age of italian tennis. No explan needed. Soccer nation, turned into tennis nation :)
I gave the match to Krejickova because when this fit she has a positive head to head against Iga. Penko’s game is too erratic and is not a good returner. She’ll do the same to Rybakina in 3 sets.
She has a 2-0 H2H with Ryba but Ryba on grass is too good, I think. I hope I'm wrong!
Idemo Maestro! 🔥❤️
I think he self-restrained because there was Royalty.
Italy have some exciting players coming up :)
61 minutes of action for those paying for center court action is exactly why a best of 3 sets for grand slams on the men's tournament is a ridiculous proposition. I don't even like it on the WTA as a matter of fact
Does JG remember his obnoxious comment about Krejčíková at the beginning of the year?
cmon guys we need euro final watchalong
If Musetti beats Djokovic it is because Djokovic is compromised more than we think.
If Musetti beats Djokovic he has no prayer against Alcaraz or Medvedev.
lol
Go Lorenzo!!!!!!! Forza!
Of course, the opponents don't play!! are you afraid??
@@alessiofavilli1998
No, Musetti has absolutely no chance against Alcaraz.
Musetti will only beat Djokovic if he can exploit his leg injury.
@@westonmeyer3110 ok, but if Djoko lose, he is injured?ok..if wins Musetti is injured too...
I did predict Krejcikova would beat Penko, because of the variety she has and the consistent hard hitting. The only reason why she hasn't played much in singles this year are the illnesses and injury troubles.
Rybakina has fired an astounding 31 aces in this yr WC edition alone..3-5-9-7-7 !!
I think the ONLY way Krejcikova can even have half a chance to win this match is TO GET INTO Ryba's head by returning EVERY shots coming at her..to make up for Ryba's massive serves...
BUT ofc im a forever Rybakina's fan so i do hope she gonna lift the prestigious WC 💿 for a 2nd time this yr 😊😊
My pick for semi's match are Donna Vekic in 3 and Elena Rybakina in 2 - Vekic is on 🔥🔥 & Rybakina is just at another level above anyone else 🤍🤍
To be fair, while some of Fritz's problem is mental, in this case it really is, I believe, partly a matchup problem and a problem with Taylor's mentality, but not what you're thinking. It's not a lack of champion mindset. It's the intractability in his game, his one-dimensional play at times, and most of all, his absolute refusal to learn how to come forward and play at net. If Taylor fritz ever wants to win a grand slam, he's going to have to learn how to (1) transition to the net, and (2) volley soundly when he's at the net.
The reason why this matchup is such a problem for him is because Lorenzo's slice draws him forward, and he just doesn't know what to do in the forecourt. Once he's forced forward by the slice, he's then punished by a quality passing shot, or a ball with pace that gets him on the move, and he's unable to defend. Players know they can get cheap points out of Taylor when he's forced to volley again and again, because yes, he'll make some,, but he will miss a lot.
With a serve of his caliber, he should have been serving and volleying in this match, and I don't think he served and volleyed once. That's inexcusable on grass, but it shows just how uncomfortable he is, that he can't even use the advantage of his serve to close the net. His lack of skill in this area is a glaring weakness, and it's one that is exploited time and time again in the big matches. It will prevent him from winning a major title in my opinion.
Musseti get better and better he matured, his slice backhand is dangerous wepon maybe he can get one set for him maybe even 2 but to expect he win it against Novak hard, who nows i gave him 5% chance to win.
It is time for the jacket 25 idemoo
Carlos will win
Who's idemo we call him novaxo
@@punns643 and goooooood night to you 😅😅
@@punns643IDEMOOOO
Did you give Carlos 5% chance or beat Djokovic in last year’s final? Just wondering how that worked out for you? 😉
Ben you're right he needs a coach. Not a youtube personality coach. He needs a real coach who is with him and mentors him. And maybe Rune doesn't want to be mentored and taught, well then too bad, he'll keep flubbing around and go back to his mother for comfort and support. He needs to grow up and focus.
Joker bed sheets? A bit personnel isn't it.
Sorry jg... spain replaces italy, eng another runner-up disappointment. Approx 58% on that pred. So poms do have a 42% chance to end the drought. Shrug :)
A socialite girlfriend is weighing fritz down. I guess
Djokovic bed sheets. It must be a joke 🤣
Who the hell would have Djokovic bed sheets?
Pavvy G would likely have a set! Lol 😆
There's no way where getting a vekic krjeikova final we know that neither vekic or krjeikova have got much chance of getting past there most better appoints.
