When I was in Monaco in 2023 Novak was having a training session with Berrettini and he randomly threw his hat over the fence and a kid got it. Imagine this kid going back home with the hat that Djokovic used. He made that boy's day.

Completely agree! Not just that but he's also incredibly eloquent. I personally think his post final speeches, whether he wins or loses, are usually flawless. He gives immense respect to his opponents and is generally extremely gracious in defeat as well. In his early years he was a bit brash and shook up the beloved fedal rivalry and people haven't forgiven him since though he's grown by leaps and bounds.

    • @mickaellandry9726
      @mickaellandry9726 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +12

Those people you talk about are mostly salty Fedal lovers.
"Nothing outrageous in his game, aways pretty predictable, which is good,
1st time we played, I never thought in my wildest dreams I was gonna lose against Novak Djokovic..." - When Roger Federer analyzed Novak Djokovic's game after 1st loss to Serb
This was pretty pitiful, disrespectful and unsportsmanlike coming from one such a champion...
      - This was back in 2007, Roger was 26 and he was talking after the loss from Nole, about young 19y old tennis star Novak at that time...
      - Bad vibe by a champion
Novak could never make such petty comments on his current young rivals (Medvedev, Alcaraz, Sinner,...)
I will never understand how Federer might consider as a model of modesty and class when he often criticized his opponents.
He was a condescending and insulting player, particularly when he was challenged and defeated.

I don’t know many other players who are more dedicated to the game as Novag. He is a genius. How he defends, how he is able to neutralize the opponent’s initiative, how he anticipates… the list is long. In all aspects of the game he demonstrates a high tennis IQ. Yes, he didn’t impress much with his behavior in the pandemic, but apart of this the guy is extremely smart and humble. Who would believe that he is still dominating in a time where guys like Alcaraz and Sinner are playing? I only saw he playing once live, against Federer in the David cup, when he was quite unknown. He lost, but what a fight! I could not believe how this guy was able to play at the same level as Federer. The rallies were mesmerizing, high speed, really unbelievable.

Nole to genialny sportowiec i wspaniały empatyczny człowiek.

Only federer and rafa fans hate him. Federer and rafa PR machinery tried its best to vilify novak who is a threat to their brand ambassador's legacies.
They were successful t o an extent but GOATkovic still beat them all against all odds. Legit mental GOAT.

Federer - Nadal - Djokovic - and even Murray... ❤
What a time to have lived if you love the game of tennis. I feel so lucky to have watched each of them push each other to play better and better, create their own individual legacies in the sport, and be role models for the next generation and young people in general.
I will miss them - as competitors, as rivals and as humans.🥲
They have all created magic on the court and changed tennis for the better - forever.
    Thank you. 🥰

Haters will continue hating Novak for surpassing their idols in the goat debate. Revealing Novak's great personality, is hurting them more. Of course there are people who are really tennis fans and even though they are not Novak's fans, they acknowledge him as the greatest (or best) player.

The french crowd was very disrespectful, even pathetic towards Novak. It was painful to watch. Millions of people around the world were discussed at the french spectators behaviour. Well done Novak for wining at the very hostile environment.

He's has never been a favourite of mine because of my love for Federer - who I learned of first - but I am a sucker for being kind to people, so I'm glad to see this video which showed this trait in him. I definitely like him more now just because of that.
