Circle lenses (or "color contacts" if you prefer, "カラコン" in Japanese) are hugely popular in Japan, South Korea, and throughout Asia. The most popular circle lenses are made by Japanese and Korean cosmetic companies, and there are thousands of different lens models and colors to choose from.
Harajuku style icon Haruka Kurebayashi often wears colored contacts for her modeling work - as well as a part of her everyday fashion. So, we thought it would be fun to have her talk about a few of her favorite contacts for those of you who wear circle lenses. If you do wear circle lenses, please wear them safely and follow all safety guidelines. You only have one pair of eyes.

if you actually want to make yours look whiter you can try increasing your fluid intake, getting more sleep,staying away from allergen and pollution(that one may be hard though),and/or using cold compresses every now and then

There's no English translation on these websites so it's hard to buy them
I love the grey ones! It has a nice kind of, lighting effect? As in, it's clearer from one edge and makes it look anime like. Kind of like a reflection-in a way..
The blue ones are also very nice!

I might try some contacts out I want something more natural though
Would 16mm ones generally be harder to get in than 14.5-15mm ones? because I have some pink 14.5mm ones from pinkyparadise.com and I find those hard enough to get in XD I did only wear them once though and they were very comfortable, I probably had so much trouble getting them in 'cause I only practiced twice before the con.
I hadn't any problems to put in my 16,2 mm ones. They also comfortable as the 14,5 ones but your eyes may get a little dry when you wear them about 3-4 hours. But you can fix it with eyedrops.

When she says half/hafu, I'm pretty sure she means half-Japanese, like many of the popular models in Japan (Kaela Kimura, Anna Tsuchiya, etc). "Hafu" is the common word here in Japan for people who are half-Japanese.

When she says half does she mean half white?
I was naturally born with a super black almost blue outline of my iris. I have forest green eyes with a black/blue outline :) A lot of artists (friends and people I just meet) ask to draw my eyes hahaha. It's pretty cool to find out that another culture likes that :)

when she says 16mm does she mean the entire diameter of the lens itself? inlcuding the clear edge??

I have to say thats some odd hair but yet pretty.... Love the contacts but be carful with those contacts with the larger ones they can damage your eyes but very awesome
