    You can option in the Multi Flex tailgate, and it's not that expensive.

      @DRTDOC หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yes, the reviewer knocks the Chevy for not having multi-flex like a "ford or dodge" when it's a readily available option, really shows how little he knows about what he's talking about.

    I’ve owned 8 f150’s with 5.4/5.0/3.5tt, and I can honestly say I love my 2023 Lt trailboss with the 6.2 much better than any ford truck I’ve ever owned. Only thing I wish is that Chevy would put the 6.2 in the custom trailboss like they use to, bc I much prefer the custom trim level over the Lt, after owning both trims

    Just bought a 2024 Silverado 1500 5.3 Trail Boss LT a month ago. Love it so far. Much more room than my previous 2014 Silverado 1500 LT. Tech is terrific. Towing is better. Stance, drive, power, space and suspension are all very good in my opinion. I also test drove a 2024 F150 with the 5.0 Coyote engine and I liked the Silverado much better.

    This truck is not top of the line, so it's not a fair comparison when comparing it to an F150 or Ram.

    I have a 24 Lt trail boss with all the bells and whistles except for sunroof. My 5th Silverado. Just done a 1.5 level and Range Technologies AFM delete. Also put the stubby antenna on. Happy as always but not a fan of the 20 inch black wheels. Started to get an RST loaded but not a fan of the wheels on it either. For decades Chevy had the best looking factory wheels hands down.

    I can probably count on one hand the amount of times I've needed to climb into the bed of a truck. I'm 6'5" so I guess my reach negates the need for my presence in the bed. Wish they'd bring back the option for Red Hot in the LTZ. I don't care for the red/black combo which is the only way to get the 6.2 with Red Hot.

    I had a 2016 Silverado z71 off road 5.3 v8, after almost 6 years I traded it for a 2022 colorado, v6, my Silverado had that cylinder deactivation bullshit, my colorado has no cylinder deactivation or start stop bullshit and it has a 7000 lb tow rating, if I get another truck, it will be a nissan, they don't have any cylinder deactivation bullshit or start stop bullshit, I'm liking my colorado a lot

    This is a 2025 or 2024? Chevy’s biggest problem in my opinion is they dont have a good high end GAS engine that gets good fuel economy. They need a twin turbo v6 and/or hybrid option. Id also like to see hands on lane centering that works with adaptive cruise on all models like the tundra.

    • @DRTDOC
      @DRTDOC หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Great timing on this comment, as Toyota is literally recalling more than 100,000 turbo vehicles. I acknowledge that Toyota is a reliable brand, and they're working to fix these shortcomings, but Chevy has produced thousands of 5.3/6.2L V8s and lifter issues aside they are one of the most reliable platforms available.

      I have a 2024 Trail Boss. It gets combined city/highway 20.4 mpg from its 5.3 V8.

    • @todd4468
      @todd4468 29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Well if tundra had a problem with their newly redesigned engine it must mean all turbo engines suck. Weird how they have been using them in car, truck, semi’s for decades. They all must be idiots.
      A lifted trail boss with the 5.3 AVERAGES more than the epa highway mpg. Amazing. Thats pretty good for a lifted truck with off road tires. I got the 2.7 and get 40 mpg towing 10,000 pounds up a 20% grade, on winter gas with 35’s and a 4” lift.

    • @DRTDOC

      The electric Silverado has a crazy amount of load capacity with that fold down cab, and it also gets a absolutely ludicrous number of miles in a single charge. I have the 6.2L personally, and would like that to remain the status quo, but if I need to switch to an EV I'll choose a Silverado.
