What engine is that? My 2016 QL sportage with 2.0t diesel has filter housing facing down and a flatish stamped steel oil pan. Seems to be no way to get oil filter out without making an obscene mess
Was there a washer on the sump bolt when you removed it? I'm in the middle of a change and my bolt didn't have a washer when undoing?
Good video but the car is not level and front wheels on a ramp? So not all oil going to be drained I guess?
What do u mean ?? The drain was on the rear side of engine and front of car elevated, so did that not infact help to get rid of all old oil ???

The manual says 5w 30 ? Is it ok to put 0w 30?

@@MadblokeMe I did it not too bad to change also it’s fitted with a primer pump so it’s easy to start after!
Why you not use low ash c2/c3 oil?
B3 diesel only A5 petrol
Won’t using a non Kia oil filter void your warranty?
No.
No but doing it yourself may do. As main dealers will use any excuse to not repair under warranty
