We visited last summer. Really enjoyed our time there although we did see some sunshine during our visit. The Sandy beaches were a real treat, we love the sea and the fresh air too 😃🚐 Trev
Wow nice vlog, we arrived on Monday probably the day after you left. It has been about 20 years since we had been to Hurn Lane and were impressed. We booked at the last moment as were cancelled from Cirencester by the CAMC but to be honest it was a nice change to go to Burnham. You are dead right about the turn at Red Rd it is a dangerous blind bend, I almost got sideswiped by a caravan going round the corner whilst I waited to cross into Red Road. We are planning to go back in September work permitting - thanks for a great Vlog keep them coming, please
Enjoyed the video of the area. Only been to the area once with a caravan. Left a cold and very overcast Lancashire. Arrived at Home farm in sunny weather, stripped to the waste putting up the new awning. Next day was Saturday 1st April, one person wanted to go shopping but there was a bomb scare. The boys and I were so disappointed (not). Went into Cheddar and it rained. Sunday very sunny again and warm. The weather on the way home was interesting, turning the heater up a little at a time. Back in Lancashire it was snowing. So we did get a little more sun than you.
😊😂 Yes we are usually very lucky with good weather here in Somerset. When we drive back to Yorkshire we always hit rain as we get to Colne. Have a nice weekend Bob 😊
Really smashing video this guys. Really enjoyed it. Good information which you don’t see on other videos re parking and restrictions etc. All the best from Mal, Dave and Sally the Lab in Stoke The SilvertopMotorhomers
Thank you Mal, Dave and Sally, we find parking is important when planning places to visit. Jules told me about your Insta message and we are in Somerset. We ordered our Motorhome, and bought our used one, from Stoke as we were impressed with the customer service from the dealership. We should be back on there at the end of June to collect our new one. Have a lovely weekend 😊 Karina
Nice site, a bit of a drive into the site from motorway, stayed there last year for a few nights, caught up with friends and family and bumped into Trev Poshcats camping, Hi Trev & Sue 👋
We spend a lot of time at Northam Farm and love it, we are off there in September for a while it’s a great place mostly hard standing. There is a beautiful church in Berrow. 👍🏴🏴🏴🏴👍
We stayed at Brean camping on Warren farm last months for a week excellent weather though cold as we are cyclist and walk there’s plenty to do. We tend to leave are motorhome on site and walk or cycle .
Like burnham, been to Warren farm and I’d quite good but there is a small venue for the Sunday lunch very limited. Unity resort is where we usually go now but nice to see it all again since April, Nice vlog 👍👍
What a shame the weather was awful for you we had the same thing a couple of weekends ago. We liked Burnham on Sea when we visited a few years ago! We enjoyed your vlog and looking forward to seeing the next one! Happy travels, Best wishes Sue, Brian and The Westies👍🐶🐾🐾🐾😀
Really interested in this Vlog, as my sister lives in Brean and is really close to the path that you took to get to the beach; didn't see her though! Such a shame about the rain, but thank you for persevering. Hopefully it'll be better weather in the next one.
What horrid weather we have been having, looks better next week. That beach looked great and maybe if you go back you can show us more of the area. Lou
Nice video guys, road into the site looks a bit iffy with a big caravan though , sorry you didn’t get the weather Burnham is a very nice place to visit, please keep em coming 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hi both , next time you visit brean , Warren Farm is nice but can be noisy at times , we now stay on sunnyside , next sight up , which belongs to Warren's, only grass piches though , Chinese/ chippy /pub, entrance to sight , 👍👍
You certainly packed a lot into that vlog, very informative. Do you ever get time just to sit and relax :) ? I do like how you show motorhome parking, its always a concern when visiting a place you're not familiar with. On that note: I've never seen Clarke's Village carpark so empty!
Thanks Robert, we do get to relax on some of our trips but I do enjoy showing you all around. I know I like to watch places I fancy visiting as you can find out lots of good information 😊 The car park was pretty full once we went to leave. We usually go midweek and it is a nice day out. Have a nice weekend, Karina and Jules
We have stayed at Warren Farm a few times and can recommend. Can be busier in school holidays but June tends to be quiet in normal times. Opposite the park are dune walks to the Beach. . Site has a dog walk and a fish and chip shop which I think will get a high rating on your score card 😂
We are thinking a getting a motor home and have a German Shepherd as well. What do you do when it pours and Fudge comes into the van wet and muddy - do you recommend one of the doggy drying coats. Great videos by the way.
The DoggyBag is very good, expensive but I am sure you can get something similar on Amazon for less. We find sand is the worst thing. He has a Microfibre noodle bathroom mat to lie on, again from Amazon but absorbs the hair and muck well and then I vac it when it dries out. 🐾 Karina
My wife could not be less impressed by the Herne Lane site or the Brean kebab shop 🤣🤣🤣 ... but she perked up at the site of the outlet shopping centre 😄 At least you've got a motorhome though... our Adria is missing in action, somewhere in transit 😭 I couldn't believe you bought a new coat either!! I had just said "Karina needs a new coat from the outlet, because when you do videos, it makes it look like you're wearing the same thing every day" (which you're obviously not)😆👍🏼 The beach at Brean was a nice finish 😃
Hi Jared and Mrs Jared, yes I splashed out on a new coat which will feature in a few weeks 😂 Sorry Mrs Jared wasn’t too impressed with the culinary delights this weekend 😐 I will try harder this weekend, I think she will like this one. Sorry your Adria is missing 😬 Ours is due to go in to production any day now I am told. Have a super weekend and hopefully you will have yours soon. Karina and Jules
@@HereWeTow @Here we Tow great to hear your Adria is underway 😃 I like the name Mrs Jared 😆 Sanna (her other name) is mostly surprised by some of the UK sites, when there's a lot of hard ground and no trees/shrubs. At least even when the weather's bleak, you get a change of scene so easily with a motorhome. We're also suffering day after day of rain right now. Looking forward to the debut of the new (North Face?) coat soon! Bring on the weekend 😁
Hi ya Karina and Jules. Shame about the weather, I know you love to walk around and show us the sites. This May has almost been a write off. Going to that area next year staying at Uplands cottages near Winscombe, looks a nice site. Look after yourselves give Fudge a pat for us. Pete and Su.👍
Hi guys, lovely vlog again! Went to Breen with my grandparents back in the day, nice holiday! Quick question Karina, what happens when you go out for the day to your pitch? Do you have to leave something there to confirm it's in use? Thanks. TM
I have stayed at Warren Farm and Northam Farm sites both are nice sites Northam Farm is a little closer to bream centre. Warren Farm has a nice cafe and club with good bar food
Red Road looks like a squeeky bum, close your eyes, floor it and hope for the best towing a caravan 😂 Koastal Karina back in her natural habitat at the beach, by a chippy! Cheers for this one, hope the weather improves for the next 👍
It is, it’s bamboo and is stained, I have bought a new stainless steel mug that arrived this week. Dont drink tea out of bamboo mugs is my advice. Karina
Great vlog again, by the way you and jules owe me £26k as because of your bloody great isonzo videos and hours of stalking them we sign on the dotted line tomorrow.!! Thankyou Karina and really looking forward to it.👍👍🍺
That is fantastic news Bernard, welcome to the Adria club, sorry if we cost you a huge amount of money! I will look forward to hearing about your adventures when you get it 😊 Karina
Burnham on mud. The sea ( not really the sea )it is the severn estuary so water is sea water and river water from the river wye and river severn, 2nd highest to lowest tide in the world . Very dangerous in coming tife speed. Perantd should keep a close eye on children and take note of full tife times, and make sure any shore walks are done on out going tide times. Also dog owners beware of tide times. RNLI do some very risky rescues of pets and people here, and drowning is not uncommon due to ignorance of the water being the sea and due to water volumes , people get caught out very quickly. Water temp also a few degrees below average ses temp too. BasherMAN

Thanks Lynda, Gizmo would enjoy it 😊
Stayed in Burnham 3 times over the last 20 years, and played Golf in Brean, and at Burnham and Berrow Golf courses, it's a pleasant area.
😊 On a nice day I bet a game of golf is really enjoyable there.
