I hope be quiet! is paying attention to this video. There's some very good advice being given here to make the case a much more attractive buy to power users and enthusiasts that want quieter systems.
I run the 500DX with a 5800 and 3080. I love this case. Extremely good airflow and quiet when it needs to BeQuiet. Running 5 fans all with Pure Wings 2 fans.
My old system was a lot like that one, but with a 5600x and 3080 FTW3. I had the Be Quiet 500dx, b550 carbon wifi, and a phanteks 240mph aio. It was all white and looked very nice with the lian li sl120 uni fans in the front and rear exhaust. I was very impressed with the quality of the case. It was very solid, with no flex or flimsiness at all. The only reason I don't have it still is that I got bit with the itx bug.
I remember when that Mushkin Vortex Redline NVME SSD was announced. The announced pricing and the rated IOPs sounded very good, look forward to seeing some proper testing.
they should give the silent base 802 the fx treatment. Quad 140 light wings high speed would be nice, match it with a silent loop 2 fx 360 up top and you got one sweet set up.
do you ever get that wandering thought while watching Wendell's videos which he hoists up a PC case and that slight chilling effect gives you a momentary "brain freeze" (like ice cream can) that imports a slightly scary expectation of "OH NO, don't drop it Wendell" and you seem to imagine at the same moment a ghostly image of Linus hovering about Wendell and snickering "Go ahead Wendell, you CAN do it".... I shudder thinking "all good things come to an end"... fingers crossed on both hands... hold on Wendell.. Flippy's nearby
I'm leaning toward this case on a new build. As far as the CPU coolers...I can't find any good reviews on either the Pure Rock 2 FX or the Pure Loop 2 FX. The few I found on the Pure Rock were not good at all and I think I'd have to go Peerless Assassin if doing air cool. It's not pretty but I want that CPU protected. I've never used an AIO...just didn't want to introduce the possible hassle down the road. I'm curiously looking at them though. Arctic Freezer II 240 is at the top of my list for AIO
Give away stuff is pretty cool. Have not check out your previous ones... I tend to ignore give away bids because most want you to signup for tracking across everywhere to qualify. Hope your does not ... Devember.... 1st time I headed this . pretty cool.
Now I'm going to have a hard time not thinking about Arthur, King of the Britons and Anarcho-Syndicalist Peasants whenever I see BeQuiet! products. Thanks, Wendell!
I am building my first ever PC and I was going to use this gpu with a Z73 front mounted aio. Why wouldn't this work even if it should fit? (I think I've seen someone use the 500DX with a Z73 front mounted + 3080ti suprim X which should have the same dimensions as the 3090... Seeing this video makes me anxious I've made a terrible mistake 😬
I never understood the point of sound damped side panels when everyone is mounting the AIO in the roof which is all open air. How can this be considered a quiet config.

I really love be quiet! cases. Proud owner of a Silent Base 802 with 4x140mm Silent wings 3. My most beautiful and nearly perfect setup ever, period.

I like beQuiet's "hardware RGB controller" even if I ain't a snob for that, just means no pain in the rear software is included.
"I found it-" **peels plastic** "...appealing!"
Goddammit

I love BeQuiet's cases!
You have 5800X 3D just laying around on a tray?
Yup!.... xD
He's a lucky guy!!!
Could be mining.... One of the greatest gems
@@Level1Techs is the case big enough for a Dark rock Elite and rtx 4080 super or should i Go with 800fx?
Another great show, Wendell! Thank you...🇺🇸 😎👍☕

Throughly love the dad jokes.
The 360 would be good for my future 7950x build.

that made me laugh alright xD
yeah ive got a 5800x3d and it rips, my 2070 super is the bottle neck now

I really wanted to have a new case like this, but without a glass panel. All metal. Does it come in black ?
Bequiet should consider making a 180mm fan. This case would be sick with 2 180's in the front. Preferably 30-32mm thick
Wendell turned me into a Newt!
He's a witch! A tech-witch!
🦎
Well I got better....
4:15 this! I don't get why both fractal and be quiet not have dampened side panels for both side.
usch a nice build, wish i had a good idea for devember !
Did you use the fan hub that came with the Pure Loop AIO, or did you just plug in all the fans for both system and AIO into the case fan hub?
I’ll take it as is!
I am planning to build a similar build with 500 fx and pure loop 2 fx on top. But I'm afraid there isn't enough space at the top...
4090 and 7950x build when
How does it compare to your preferred “Torrent” Case?

What ever happened to the bequiet downdraft coolers? They had a monster one for a while, always wanted to check it out
There's some lovely filth over here!

Could asus tuf 4090 fot there? lenght: 348.2 mm , height 149.3 mm
Come see the violence inherent in the system !

Best cooler is the scythe ninja 5 fite me
Why everyone skips how to plug the argb hubs and what to connect on the mobo...I still have no clue

I was so disappointed with my build. It is stupendously quiet but the GPU has a terrible coil whine. Ended up ruining my efforts.

I fart in your general direction!!!
oohhh and on my day off
If only their rgb fans were reversible!!!!!
It's almost comical how much a it's rattle the case from a brand named BeQuiet! 😅
You have a really fun personality :D
Also, Jesus loves you :)
He found it "appealing?" Please leave donations for the joke fund?
Wendell is the ish.
All these "pure base 500" cases are really looking samey.BQ really need a few new designs.
Because they are, just with an rgb controller and fans included in the case.
@ new designs, rgb can be chucked in any case. Not saying they are bad, just repetitive designs.
@@Doobie3010 but that's exactly it, This isn't a new case, just a refresh of an existing one by adding RGB all Over it.
@ Yeah, my original point. Have a fine day Enio..
@@Doobie3010 Nope, what you wanted was a different case, which isn't the case, it's right there in the name...
