The be quiet 2 FX 240 aio looks , good upgrade with the pump noise when compared to the predecessor. But the cooling test performance are underwhelming..

I had really wanted that case and went so far as to order it, unfortunately not supporting E-ATX was a deal breaker for me. Returning the case cost me 40+ USD which really blows, so make sure it is compatible before ordering or you will lose one-third of your investment. Seriously, what is the big deal about a few extra holes for E-ATX?
don't really need to use the fan hub just use a 3 way splitter for the pwn fans and get a 10 port or 11 port rgb hub for the rgb lighting if you are going to go full rgb that way you can plug the pwn fans in your cpu connector on your motherboard and if you don't have enough rgb ports on your motherboard that's where the rgb hub comes into play.
Be Quiet makes some great stuff for sure, but it's not so easily accessible in Canadian stores. I went with a Fractal Define 7 Compact case and Arctic fans.

do e-atx even fit inside midi towers? pretty sure this is classified as one

Nope, all speed and RGB is combined.
