So called "modern techs" are gimmicks built on classics. Its a pity that the Good Old Days are judged by the performance of a vintage scooter, then again still running.
That is so wrong. The fact that this scooter is enough starting and being used in this So called Modern Generation itself is proof enough to prove that this is a time tested machine. It's simple design and can't be compared at all to any other scooter. I bet you no modern scooter would last like the old gems in the form of Vespa and Lambretta. Talk about Ola electric scooter. So stop comparing.
I doubt if modern vehicle with electronics will last 40 pluse year's

If the kill switch doesn’t work just engage it in 1st gear and release the clutch without accelerating and voila it goes off. Not to forget the wheelie it pulls if you don’t know your horse ha ha ha

The cronic problem with Vespa scooters were automatic steering lock which used to happen while driving. Lots of accidents have happened... That could be the reason for no key start and is made direct in this scooter. My Father had one and he had to face a similar incident post which he sold it and bought a Vijay Deluxe... Which was far better thanks to central engine ... Similar to motorbikes.All in all nice to watch Faisal excitement and enjoying the powerfull 2 stroke 150 cc engine.

If you get a chance ride a Bajaj Priya brilliant scooter with only 3 gears, very comfortable and smooth too, my father had one.
Bajaj 150 & bajaj priya was the successor of this one piaggio vespa 150.

This scooter evoked my childhood memories when Bajaj Chetak scooter was member of our family.
Let's appreciate faisal because he not only had the power and patience to kick start again and again when it stalled but had the guts to go on a adventure out on the road and ride it around that apartment.

You hardly use the front brake btw, the people back in those days, they hardly used the front brake, mostly the back every at very high speeds

1:15 wrong Info Reserve meant for low fuel in petrol tank , hence switch on reserve when scooter has less fuel other wise switch on fuel and go.

We have Vespa 150, 1970 model and LML Vespa 1990 model scooter at home .
It is modified not original and stock condition.
