# 0001 Honestly, I'd be down for Capmon but I guess to be fair it would get a bit confusing since it sounds like Capcom. And I'm not quite sure how Capcom would feel about that. (Yet there are 2 Pokemon in the Scarlet/Violet games that are loosely based on Megaman and Zero)

Love this reaction! Just want to point out a couple of things about the characters that were chosen. The first one (the kids with the finger blast and sword) had Yusuke and Kuwabara from Yu Yu Hakusho. One of the members of Team Four Star (Lanipator) started TH-cam stuff with making Yu Yu Hakusho Abridged. Side note: Yu Yu Hakusho is totally worth watching on its own. It's a fantastic series. The card game one is from a show called Yu-Gi-Oh! The guy who was Freeza in DBZ Abridged created Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged, which was the first Abridged anime parody series on TH-cam. Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged would be a worthwhile show to react to, I think. Y'all are fun! Keep it up!
A short description of any of these character references in the TFS Cell Games in order: * Yu Yu Hakusho - Basically DBZ but with demons, spirits and more violent shounen fights. Best 90's english dub. * Yu-Gi-Oh! - A great anime about a card game filled with action set pieces. * Street Fighter - a 80's anime fighting arcade game fanchise. * Sonic - One of SEGA's best video game franchises. * Fist of the North Star - Never seen it but it's known as a retro manly anime. * Death Note - A Psychological Thriller about a book that can kill anyone who's name is written in it. * One Punch Man - An OP but stupid looking guy decides to play superhero and doesn't take it seriously. * Pokemon - Basically pockect dueling monsters for kids. * Deadpool - Marvel. You already know who he is. * King of The Hill
I recommend some DevilArtemis videos after the final episode, he originally made it as some TFS Inspired from the Cell Vs series before it became its own thing, he even currently animates TFS’s HFIL Series.
The bald guy at 12:00 is Saitama, from the anime One Punch Man. He's basically a dude who did 100 squats, 100 situps, 100 pushups and 10km of running everyday, until he became someone so strong that he could punch ANYONE to death with one punch. It's kind of like an "anti" series in that it takes the piss out of episode long battles that other fighting shows have had It's good fun ^^
And the line from cell "why do I feel like I'm not the only one being blue balled right now" is a joke about how people have always wanted to see saitama Vs dbz
The card game character is Yugi from Yu-Gi-Oh! The entire series really is based around a card game, and it's both hilarious and awesome. Definitely check it, or it's Abridged Series out.
26:45 If you liked that, you should watch Yu-Gi-Oh: The Abridged Series after DBZA. It's actually what inspired TFS to start their own Abridged series, and its creator, LittleKuriboh, also voices Frieza (in DBZA). Also, unlike DBZA, Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged is still ongoing, with 84 episodes so far, the most recent episode being almost a year ago. As for the references in this video, they were: 0:23 YuYu Hakusho 2:14 Yu-Gi-Oh 4:34 Street Fighter 6:30 Sonic the Hedgehog 8:29 Fist of the North Star 10:06 Death Note 11:35 One Punch Man 14:14 Pokémon 18:40 Deadpool (of course)
That image that shows up on Ash's pokedex is a pokemon called MissingNo. that appears when you create a glitch in the original games by accurately following a series of events. Technically counts as an unofficial species and if you caught it it would destroy your save game or can increase the items in the 6th slot of your inventory by 128 if you simply encounter it. Easy way to get unlimited rare items. It affectionately became a part of gaming subculture as the most famous of game glitches. :P
MissingNo has a big fanbase and people want it to become officially recognized too. Though it's also far from the only glitch mon in gen 1. God, people think SV are buggy, gen 1 was held together with string and prayer.
Still think it's kind of dumb though. The death note kills anyone that had their first and last name written on it, and if no cause of death happens then that someone dies of a heart attack. It doesn't matter if you have 1 or 500 hearts, you will die.
Okay, so Saitama, aka One Punch Man, aka Caped Baldy, aka the guy who didn't fight because of a sale at the grocery, is exactly what the skit implied. Everyone missed out by him not fighting. He is one of the few manga/anime characters that actually power scales well to Dragon Ball, although the difficult part is no one is exactly sure how powerful he actually is. His whole thing is that he is looking for the fight where he finally faces a challenge. He keeps grossly overpowering his opponents after everyone else in his series stuggles just to survive, which means he constantly faces dissappointment, yet most people in his series don't witness how strong he actually is and never take him seriously. He is definitely on power scale with at least Cell and the super saiyans, and theoretically may actually be as strong as the saiyans in the time of Dragon Ball Super years later. If he fought Cell, we might actually get a better guage of how strong he actually is.
The manga now established that he actually is always strong enough to be through strongest in the room. Somebody finally got up to near his level and sensed him immediately skyrocketed beyond them.
The first group with the teenagers are from Yu Yu Hakusho, if you haven’t seen it the series was in the 90’s and still holds up as a fan favorite. Many animations used it as inspiration for their characters. Also has one of if not thee best tournament arc in anime with “The Dark Tournament”. It’s a must watch anime and I believe you can find the full series on TH-cam
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitive2 Lanipator (the VA for Vegeta, Krillin, Roshi, Mr. Popo, Piccolo) originally made Yu Yu Hakusho abridged before joining up with KaiserNeko and Takahata101 to write / make DBZA.
Man, I forgot how good Lanipator's Yusuke was. He sounds just the dub version (and I will fight to the death that the English version for that show is better than the sub, something I will say only for like 3 other animes). I miss Yu Yu Hakusho abridged. Wish you guys could react to Yu Yu Hakusho. It's such a good series, and I haven't seen people react to it. I know you won't but I can dream.
What flew by in the pokemon segment was Mew Two. Created from Mew's DNA (who is supposed to be extinct but turns out not so much) and genetically altered, he is a psychic pokemon who can speak telepathically and tried to destroy the world during his existential crisis of why he is there and deciding not to follow his human masters. He was the first villain in the pokemon movie in Pokemon, The Movie. You know.... when there was only one of those.
Pink Panther?? LOL!! That was Mewtwo, a devastatingly powerful psychic Pokemon who is a clone of Mew, an ancient Pokemon from the past. He's probably the only Generation 1 Pokemon that can communicate with humans directly besides the Team Rocket Meowth.
like others have said. The kid with the demon is Light Yagami and Ryuk from death note and 11:22 with freaky face is a reference to William Dafoe (Green goblin) playing/ voice Ryuk in the live action movie.
Animes in order and little facts about each: 1) Yu Yu Hakkusho, about dead kid and alive friend who go around hunting demons. Good older anime, but not the first people think of when recommending anime. 2) YuGiOh, every Americans first anime if not Pokémon. Infamous for weird dubbing in America were losing sends you to hell is now The Shadow Realm, and finger guns being replaced for actual guns. Good Anime, but after Yami Yugi, the weird hair kid, stops being the Protag, everything after people are split on if they like or don’t like. 3) Street Fighter, you know who they are. So interesting fact, they didn’t get that popular until Street Fighter 2 when a glitch occurred that every fighting game has now COMBOS. Yes combos was a glitch 4) Sonic the Hedgehog, It’s Sonic. Red guy is Knuckles the Echidna, Sonic’s rival and friend. He isn’t as fast, but punches really really hard. 5) Fist of The North Star, Road warrior fights to get revenge after girlfriend is taken in an apocalypse. Originator of Crazy Fist. 6) Death Note, Psychological Thriller with elements of Horror. About a kid who tries to play god after finding a book that can kill people once you write their name in it. He uses it on criminals mainly, but then transitions to anybody who gets in his path of becoming god 7) One Punch Man, comedy/ action. Man has existential crisis after realizing he is too strong for his universe and yet no one knows he exists or try to keep that knowledge up wraps. Super Hero name: Caped Baldy 8) Pokémon, It’s Pokémon. There is a Pokémon named Mewtwo whose design was inspired as looks really close to Freezer 9) Deadpool, yes Deadpool has an anime. The reason Venom is as crazy as he is is due to one of the original hosts being Deadpool hence why it also really likes Spider-Man as well
Perfect timing! I was gonna suggest this after seeing your jumpforce reaction video as some characters there are featured in the cell games spoof episodes
The guy with the demon is from Death Note. The demon is a Shinigami, Japanese for Death God or God of Death. The main character finds his book, the Death Note, and uses it to kill criminals all over the world as he tries to become the God of the New World, like he stated in the Cell Vs video. It’s a great anime, I’m sure you all would like it. ^^ Don’t watch the live adaptation movies though, they are not that good. The one with the bald superhero and the cyborg, they are from the anime, One Punch Man. The main character is the bald hero who trained so hard that he became so strong he defeats anything in one punch which has left him depressed as he continues being a hero while looking for the opponent who can let him feel the thrill of battle again. He’s constantly compared to Goku in recent years in ‘Who would win’ scenarios. Also a great anime and very comedic with great action and animation (in season 1) with a great story that gets better (in season 2). Also yeah the card game one is Yu-Gi-Oh and in the anime they solve every problem with Duel Monsters, the card game (modeled after the real life Yu-Gi-Oh trading card game), duels. Including world ending ones because the villains are either fine solving it with duels or dueling somehow feeds into their plans 😂
All the shows that made appearances: Yu Yu Hakusho Yu-Gi-Oh Street Fighters Sonic the Hedgehog Fist of the North Star Death Note One Punch Man Pokémon Deadpool King of the Hill
Team Rocket Jesse and James “we’re here, we’re queer get use to it.” Basically they try to steal pikachu and other Pokémon thru elaborate schemes. Many times they wear disguises and VERY often their disguise is an outfit normally worn by the other sex. Like for example James wearing a ballet outfit while Jesse wears a aristocrat uniform, or a wedding dress and a tuxedo. They have been breaking social norms for decades.
The boy who was followed by the "Demon" was Light Yagami from Deathnote - an anime where a highschool prodigy gets the notebook of a God of death and decides to use it to kill all the criminals. Soon people notice that all the criminals of the world start dying due to haertattacks and Interpol is on the case to find this unknown serial killer. Its a Battle of whits and planning between him and L the worlds greatest detective and a very great story worth checking out should you be interested.
this is the perfect (aiiii) point to start delving into the Cell Vs videos from Devil Artemis and the subsequent DAU he has created its got a life of its own from here
Thanks Cell for eliminating that god complex a**hole for Death Note. (who has actually the power to kill everyone by writing down it's name in this notebook)
So, Yami Yugi, the teenaged boy with the redicilous hair playing Cell in a Children's Card Game (Not on motorcycles) is a spirit entity trapped in the Millenium Puzzle, the pyramid necklace he was wearing. The puzzle enables Yami to take over Yugi's body, which he does to play cards with in games. The running joke in Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged is that Yugi literally cheats in every competition he plays. Well, he kinda does in the original anime as well, but it's slightly more justified as he has the mystical power of top decking (Drawing a single card from the top of his deck without anykind of seeking ability to search and pull a specific card from the deck) a specific card he needs to win. Heart of the Cards he calls this ability, technically complete BS, but it's his superpower. Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged is widely considered to be the first "Abridged" series that started all this and unlike with the Team Four Star's DBZA, YGOA only has 1 voice actor voicing all of the characters, of all genders. To start off with at least, as TFS got bigger and more popular there are more voices in YGOA in the later episodes. I'd be shocked if people aren't pushing you to watch that as well, it is extremely silly from multiple aspects, but it does showcase brilliantly Martin's voice acting talent.
My favorite one will always be Deadpool, but One Punch Man was amusing, too. Cell has no idea how close he was to instant death. Still, I think that would be third place. That "you are already dead" guy places second for sure.
Ah yes, Saitama and Genos, Saitama being the protag of the anime series called "One Punch Man", which is all about the idea of the protag that's already done all his development and powering up, and starts off overpowered at the very start of the series, it's got some plenty of humorous scenes. And to explain Light Yagami's "Demon" (despite me never watching Death Note), anybody who touches the Death Note (A book where you write a person's name in it and they die after a short period of time) will be able to see that demon thing. Also the "Pink Panther" you were referencing was the lab-made pokemon Mewtwo, it is a strong pokemon in the series.
fun fact: yusuke was voiced by lanipator, which is no surprise since before he joined TFS, he, like all the other members, had his own abridged serious: "yuyu hakusho abridged."
Yu Yu Hakusho is my favorite anime of all time. I've also enjoyed the (sadly unfinished) Yu Yu Hakusho abridged made by Lanipator (abridged Piccolo, Vegeta and Krillin i.e. all your faves) So when this first released and I saw Yusuke Urameshi was the first up, I literally dropped every single thing I was doing to watch it. I love anything involving Yusuke and his buds and I am so happy you watched all of these in one go
okay, these are fun got a Littlekuriboh apperance because of Atem showing up, which since ive been in on yugioh from a long way back is kind of funny how Cell whipped out tournament legality rules at the time. some number of those cards aren't even banned anymore. surprised you didn't know about this series yet. getting some YuYu Hakusho, Fist of the North Star, Death Note, and One Punch Man references were great as well. surprised to hear in your commentary you never knew about Knuckles... hmm. we got screwed on no super sonic... to the Pokemon one... ill just note 14:49 had me chuckling. looks like a missingno reference. 15:13 the answer is Perfect, guest dub Satoshi. Perfect. 17:42 THANK YOU Mr. Perfect Cell. also, actually a reference to the earlier design concept that pokemon would stem from. Capsule monsters is correct. funnily enough, the duel monsters and thereby yugioh reference calls to a miniseries of Yugioh made exclusively for international release, apparently comissioned by 4kids themselves. blech. 18:21 nope, a Mewtwo i think. but looking at a mewtwo and a Freiza... i could see the resemblence on some level. despite how much i commented on it... the Pokemon one isn't my favorite, nor the Yugioh. id say the One Punch Man one is. Saitama shows up, in itself a match up any fan of both content probably would like to see, then goes "nah, ill be at the tournament, I want to see more strong people" only to bounce because he's so confident things'll be fine he'd rather make sure he hits up the next sale just feels so Him. while i know Pokemon and Yugioh significantly better, I don't love the anime version of either due to their localizations, which for me is what was being played up here.
The schoolboy was Yagami Light, an insanely intelligent bored and jaded teen from Death Note. The demon following him was a Shinigami, or an Angel of Death, but you don't need to worry about him, he's following Light just to entertain himself. Technically you can't even see a Shinigami unless you touch their specific Death Note. The way Death Note works is that when your name is written in it while the writer thinks of you specifically (To avoid issues with people who share the same name) that person is going to die in a manner as described in the Death Note. There are limits to what you can write to happen, but if the description written is impossible, or not something the person would naturally do, the Death Note defaults to killing that person by a heart attack. Likewise if no description is written, then the book will also default to a heart attack. As to what the anime is like -- If you're aware of the movie Catch Me If You Can, Death Note works in a very similar fashion. You have a genius teenager with a deadly note book that tries to cleanse evil and crime from the world and a similarly genius teenager detective that tries to catch Light only known to the public as L. So, Light and L goes into a duel of wits trying to discover each other's identity. If L finds Light's entity, he's going to jail and throw the book at Light for murdering a lot of people. If Light finds L's identity first, he's going to kill L for trying to stop him from delivering justice to the world. Death Note is all about mind games, so it is a wordy anime. Extremely entertaining and well worth a watch. It is also a manga, which can be read for free at mangaplus.shueisha.co.jp/titles/100008 Personally I think the manga tells the story better, but the anime is more entertaining. I 100% recommend checking either, or both of them out, it's a brilliant story all around.
Funny how even Napa has so little faith in Mr Satan that he hired an assassin to take Cell out. Speaking of which the picture Deadpool had was of Meruem from Hunter X Hunter a series I highly recommend watching.
The Death Note stuff is actually an anime, but there was a movie a few years ago that was pretty good too, the demon was actually played/voiced by Willem Dafoe - interesting concept worth checking out!!
For the Yu Yu Hakusho part, it's worth noting that Lanipator, who voices Vegeta, Piccolo, Krillin amongst others, originally had a Yu Yu Hakusho abridged. He was inspired by Yu-Gi-Oh abridged and through YYHA it led him to the people he would eventually make TFS with. So its inclusion feels like a fun call back/return to form. Also, his voice has always been comparable to Chris Sabat and Justin Cook, the Funimation dub actors originally for both the shows. So him voicing Yusuke and Kuwabara is fitting.
The caped baldy and the cyborg are from an enime called One Punch Man its a parody of anime as a whole. It’s really good and short too you guys should react to it.
Character and Show/Game in order Yusuke and Kuwabara from Yu Yu Hakusho (my gateway anime) Yugi / Atem from Yugioh (It was up there with pokemon back in the day) Ryu and Ken from street fighter Sonic and knuckles from Sonic Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star (a classic and John Cena's fav anime) Light and Ryuk from Death Note (a very poplular anime) Saitama and Genos from One Punch Man (Saitama is too op that he ends every fight with one punch) No explanation for Pokemon, its pokemon You already know dead pool and marvel
These shorts were both awesome and annoying back in the day. You'd see that TFS uploaded a new video, get excited for the next episode of DBZA, and then it'd turn out to be one of these, sort of like getting a consolation prize. This went on for what felt like months and months, because for some reason, it started taking a really long time for TFS to get new episodes out. It was also around this point that I realized they weren't going to do the Buu saga. They officially announced that shortly thereafter. It was disappointing, but understandable. They were eventually going to run out of DBZ episodes anyway and I bet they were tired of fighting copyright strikes from Toei.
The quality of the show had also become very high and TFS wasn’t willing to compromise that quality to get episodes out faster, for which I’m grateful. I think it’s also the reason they decided not to do the Buu saga, and while the missed opportunity sucks I don’t blame them.
Capsule Monsters, at one point that was almost the name for Pokemon actually, also the name of a short spin-off of Yu-Gi-Oh where they played something other than a card game. If you want to go backwards, the term was used all the way back in 1967 with the third Ultra series, Ultraseven, which followed Ultraman, as humans manage to put some Kaijus in capsules and take them out to fight, being that kind of show, it's kinda only completely weak Kaiju that get put in capsules and used mostly as a distraction while helping Ultraseven. The concept was mentioned back in Ultraman Mebius but not very much, the idea of capturing Kaijus and using them is used a few times but with methods other than capsules, there were even two Ultra series about humans saving the world with Kaijus they trained and raised against other evil Kaijus...the last one being in 2009 because no one really wants to see guys commanding Kaijus to fight over giant alien heroes fighting and killing Kaijus.
I know you are not there yet, but just so you guys know, dbza ends on episode 60. There are 4 parts, actually. Doesn't always show the 4th in the list.
The demon was from "Death Note" and the bald guy is from "one punch man" both REALLY good anime and worth reacting to. Also they both really would kill cell very easily.
To be fair if Kenshiro was a Super Saiyan he would be the most dangerous being in the universe. Also I love your reactions since I myself binge watched the whole show for the first time at the beginning of March.
That little segment with the One Punch Man characters was supposed to be joke, as everyone kept bothering them about it about as much as they did with the WEN BROLY situation. Speaking of you should see their Digimon Abridged joke episode in response to it.
Your reactions tell me that you should consider adding One Punch Man and Death Note (*not* the Netflix version) to your schedule. Both are pretty good.
The stage is set the curtain drawn and now all you two have to do is take your first steps into the celllverse or as we fans call it...........................................The devilartemist unviverse or DAU for short have fun!!!!
and this inspired the youtuber DevilArtemis do some funny edit Cell vs vids...which viewers ate up and shot up his subscriptions, so more came, and then did 3-D animation for more creative freedom. He has been doing his own Cell series since, which has off and on been a VS...spun off in some weird yet funny directions (like eventually having Kermit the Frog as a co-star *think two man comedy act with Cell as the straight man and Kermit as the unhinged lunatic..man*, plus some more cross overs including working with Team Four Star more recently with a few projects.
P. S. If you played Sonic 3 on the Sega Genesis then you should have probably seen Knuckles which would be the first new character you are introduced in that game.
The pink panther you said was actually mewtwo 😂 a legendary Pokémon also Devil Artemis is a TH-camr who actually keeps it up with the whole cell versus and randomness though 😂you might find some unexpected company to join cell on his arena as a friend

Wrong. The amount of time it takes after writing someone's name to cause death to that person is 40 seconds, not 30.
Correction: a person dies within 40 seconds from a heart attack if the cause and time of death isn't specified in the Death Note

* King of The Hill
I recommend some DevilArtemis videos after the final episode, he originally made it as some TFS Inspired from the Cell Vs series before it became its own thing, he even currently animates TFS’s HFIL Series.
Thanks for the recommendation 🙂
💯💯
P. Cell is lucky that Saitama didn't fight him. 😂
*MISTER* P. Cell.
👉⚡💀@@BmanTheChamp
The bald guy at 12:00 is Saitama, from the anime One Punch Man. He's basically a dude who did 100 squats, 100 situps, 100 pushups and 10km of running everyday, until he became someone so strong that he could punch ANYONE to death with one punch. It's kind of like an "anti" series in that it takes the piss out of episode long battles that other fighting shows have had
It's good fun ^^
A lot of people took up doing that workout as well, one of them being Lanipator of Team Fourstar
And the line from cell "why do I feel like I'm not the only one being blue balled right now" is a joke about how people have always wanted to see saitama Vs dbz
I think my favorite one is the fist of the northstar. the "you're already dead"
Again.
“You’re already dead.”
“Aaggh! Christ! Did anyone ever tell you you’re already an asshole!?”
18:19 PINK PANTHER ?!?! THATS MEWTWO AND POKEMON. DANG WHAT CHILDHOOD DID YALL HAVE?
The card game character is Yugi from Yu-Gi-Oh! The entire series really is based around a card game, and it's both hilarious and awesome. Definitely check it, or it's Abridged Series out.
As well as play the Game.
“If at first you don’t succeed BLAST THEM WITH YOUR BLUE-EYES AGAIN!”
As for the references in this video, they were:
0:23 YuYu Hakusho
2:14 Yu-Gi-Oh
4:34 Street Fighter
6:30 Sonic the Hedgehog
8:29 Fist of the North Star
10:06 Death Note
11:35 One Punch Man
14:14 Pokémon
18:40 Deadpool (of course)
"OK, but why tho?" Is absolutely my favorite line out of this for the sheer confusion.
I like the detail on one of Cell’s hearts stopping 40 seconds after Light wrote it just like the show
Still think it's kind of dumb though.
@kagato23 lmao that's amazing!
We haven’t seen any actual anime. Dbza is the most anime thing we’ve seen so far haha. But we are getting more into it 🙂
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitive2 Lanipator (the VA for Vegeta, Krillin, Roshi, Mr. Popo, Piccolo) originally made Yu Yu Hakusho abridged before joining up with KaiserNeko and Takahata101 to write / make DBZA.
Honestly you calling Mewtwo Pink Panther at the end of the pokemon fight was actually pretty funny! lol XD
25:22 That never gets old 😂
Don't worry about that demon even though he's definitely sinnister he's actually pretty chill. Dude likes apples.
The boy with the notebook and demon were from the anime Death Note which I cannot recommend enough. One of the best anime out there.
It's because Light forgot to put Mr. in the death note.
Pink Panther?? LOL!! That was Mewtwo, a devastatingly powerful psychic Pokemon who is a clone of Mew, an ancient Pokemon from the past. He's probably the only Generation 1 Pokemon that can communicate with humans directly besides the Team Rocket Meowth.
are you ready? BECAUSE I AM READY FOR THE #CELLGAMES
presented by He-tap
Oh snaps! I love how TeamFourStar showed tons of classic animes in this! 🙏🏽💪
😎🤟
like others have said. The kid with the demon is Light Yagami and Ryuk from death note and 11:22 with freaky face is a reference to William Dafoe (Green goblin) playing/ voice Ryuk in the live action movie.
9:40 the way Bethany immediately switched expression was hilarious 😂
Animes in order and little facts about each:
1) Yu Yu Hakkusho, about dead kid and alive friend who go around hunting demons.
Yes combos was a glitch
4) Sonic the Hedgehog, It’s Sonic.
He uses it on criminals mainly, but then transitions to anybody who gets in his path of becoming god
7) One Punch Man, comedy/ action. Man has existential crisis after realizing he is too strong for his universe and yet no one knows he exists or try to keep that knowledge up wraps. Super Hero name: Caped Baldy
8) Pokémon, It’s Pokémon. There is a Pokémon named Mewtwo whose design was inspired as looks really close to Freezer
9) Deadpool, yes Deadpool has an anime. The reason Venom is as crazy as he is is due to one of the original hosts being Deadpool hence why it also really likes Spider-Man as well
God, I didn't remember most of these. Specially the Pokemon parody with Team Rocket showing up and all 🤣🤣🤣. I nearly died.
I will forever LOVE the fact. The last piece of DBZA material ever. Was Bobby Hill kicking Perfect Cell in the nuts. A true perfect sendoff~
All the shows that made appearances:
Yu Yu Hakusho
Yu-Gi-Oh
Street Fighters
Sonic the Hedgehog
Fist of the North Star
Death Note
One Punch Man
Pokémon
Deadpool
King of the Hill
Team Rocket Jesse and James “we’re here, we’re queer get use to it.” Basically they try to steal pikachu and other Pokémon thru elaborate schemes. Many times they wear disguises and VERY often their disguise is an outfit normally worn by the other sex. Like for example James wearing a ballet outfit while Jesse wears a aristocrat uniform, or a wedding dress and a tuxedo. They have been breaking social norms for decades.
The “pink Panther” was the Pokémon Mewtwo
Though in later episodes they went for more generic costumes and I was disappointed.
It was Mewtwo, actually.
Its a Battle of whits and planning between him and L the worlds greatest detective and a very great story worth checking out should you be interested.
this is the perfect (aiiii) point to start delving into the Cell Vs videos from Devil Artemis and the subsequent DAU he has created its got a life of its own from here
Love that evo 37 reference with Ken(The fighter, not the reactor lol)
That thing that flew across was Mewtwo.
The joke being that Mewtwo and Freeza look kind of similar.
That king of the hill one was my favorite xD
fun fact: yusuke was voiced by lanipator, which is no surprise since before he joined TFS, he, like all the other members, had his own abridged serious: "yuyu hakusho abridged."
Don't you mean "Mrs. and Mr. Perfect Couple?" 😘
There is technically one more Cell Vs video. It’s over on the 1Kids channel and another Pokémon themed one.
@6:32 bethenny and her wiggle 😊❤
"Leave the planet and never come back" isn't a very reassuring deal from a character who can blow up a planet from space.
I love anything involving Yusuke and his buds and I am so happy you watched all of these in one go
okay, these are fun
got a Littlekuriboh apperance because of Atem showing up, which since ive been in on yugioh from a long way back is kind of funny how Cell whipped out tournament legality rules at the time. some number of those cards aren't even banned anymore. surprised you didn't know about this series yet.
getting some YuYu Hakusho, Fist of the North Star, Death Note, and One Punch Man references were great as well. surprised to hear in your commentary you never knew about Knuckles... hmm. we got screwed on no super sonic...
to the Pokemon one... ill just note 14:49 had me chuckling. looks like a missingno reference.
It is also a manga, which can be read for free at mangaplus.shueisha.co.jp/titles/100008
Personally I think the manga tells the story better, but the anime is more entertaining.
I 100% recommend checking either, or both of them out, it's a brilliant story all around.
You should definitely check out the Devil Artemis ones. There is quite literally a WHOLE universe based on this.
The guy with the flying demon was from Death Note, and it would be AMAZING to see you guys react to that show some day (not the movies 😂)
Cell vs Deadpool is the best one imo
If you liked the tfs cell vs you might like devilartemis's cell vs series. They are HILARIOUS!
Ngl devil artemis killed it with his
2:00 It's funny because how Yusake and Kwabara kind of talk like this in the anime lol
I hope you watch the Elite3 variant of the Pokemon one as that's hilarious
Its much better
Character and Show/Game in order
Yusuke and Kuwabara from Yu Yu Hakusho (my gateway anime)
Yugi / Atem from Yugioh (It was up there with pokemon back in the day)
Ryu and Ken from street fighter
Sonic and knuckles from Sonic
Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star (a classic and John Cena's fav anime)
Light and Ryuk from Death Note (a very poplular anime)
Saitama and Genos from One Punch Man (Saitama is too op that he ends every fight with one punch)
No explanation for Pokemon, its pokemon
You already know dead pool and marvel
Aw hell yeah! I was hoping it would be all of them
I know you are not there yet, but just so you guys know, dbza ends on episode 60. There are 4 parts, actually. Doesn't always show the 4th in the list.
Ngl the thought that Mewtwo was confused with the pink panther cartoon hurts my soul. T_T
Yu Yu Hakusho and One Punch Man are definite standouts. Per usual Cell hits on all cylinders.
That little segment with the One Punch Man characters was supposed to be joke, as everyone kept bothering them about it about as much as they did with the WEN BROLY situation.
Speaking of you should see their Digimon Abridged joke episode in response to it.
You know it's a good thing Perfect Cell wasn't facing off against Archie Sonic that hedgehog is seriously broken.
Oh yes I was waiting for this one.
At 18:10, it’s not The Pink Panther, it’s Mewtwo! 🤣
Your reactions tell me that you should consider adding One Punch Man and Death Note (*not* the Netflix version) to your schedule. Both are pretty good.
Death Note is one of the greatest non-shonen anime. And I love that the main character isn't the good guy saving the world. Need more anime like that.
Cell got REAL lucky Saitama was busy.
One Punch Man was the funniest because he probably could've wiped Cell if they actually fought
