  • These tips make replacing blade inserts on any Ridgeline, Pilot, CRV, Accord, Passport, Civic, HRV and Odyssey simple and easy.
If you don't have a Honda dealership nearby, I recommend ordering parts from College Hills Honda.

Amazing no comments. This is the best tutorial by far. Just need to include the rear. I've got the arm off but the blade is hard to figure out.

Thanks! I found that replacing Honda wiper inserts is frustrating the first time I replaced mine, now that I know a few tricks it's super easy and only takes a couple of minutes. I've never had a Honda with a rear wiper, but I bet it's the same type of insert.

WOW! The TOWEL is the most important thing! I was replacing my blades on a Silverado and I accidentally bumped the arm when my blade was off and I hit and destroyed my windshield on a 2 year old silverado. Great info!!!!!!! Now i always take that towel and it’s the FIRST thing I do!!!! Doing my crv inserts today! TY!

On my '21, dealer had put the 650mm refill and blade on passenger side (noticed overhang on windshield molding) w/ stopper end facing away from the pivot point. I quickly fixed THEIR error. Great videos, keep them coming~!

I kinda feel bad for the dealer mechanics, every job has a designated time allotment and those time allotments are sometimes unrealistic so they have to rush and sometimes mistakes are made. Good thing you checked and corrected the backwards blade, it would really suck to have that come loose in a heavy rainstorm.

Thanks!! My 2019 Honda Passport has the same wiper arm release tab on the top as the Ridgeline, in case someone needs to know.

Looks too easy watching the procedure…now wish me luck doing it myself. Thanks for the demonstration.

Where did you get the blade refills from.

They Honda OEM blade refills, you can get them at any Honda dealership, several Honda dealers also sell parts on-line and even Amazon has them for sale.

Where is the towel to protect the paint from scratches from those metal splines.

Thankfully the splines have smooth edges and are very light, but a towel isn't a bad idea.
