The least baller situation in recent memory.
one of the best lines in recent memory
this comment needs more likes
Denis King you mean the most baller line in recent memory
or, whatever
Pretty sure everyone gets it. Smart guy
The acting here is fucking phenomenal. This is amazing.
Just the chill voices
@@harryhogan7787 look up Bob and Doug McKenzie shorts, and also Wayne's World. All they did is rehash those shoes.
@@alexmcdonald9424 I guess but I still think it’s funny
The fact that everyone's wearing Hurley.
Even the baby! Lol!
And a cap on his head🎩
"You can never have too much Hurley"
@@strangemarkings I understood this reference dot gif
Don't forget about Element.
as a native San Diegan, I can say that I am honored and humbled by this depiction of our proud culture
SD pride, man.
are you native american or Mexican? if not then you are not a native san diegan.
San Diego is weakkkkkkk
Too too if you're born somewhere, you are a native of that region. That's what the word means.
+Zack Frailey no. native means indegenious. as in the original peoples of the land. so keep that lazy ass definition dude bro
I feel like the humor went right over everyone's head. Kyle - we love you!
This one just wasn't that funny
+Rachiee Rayy No, it simply wasn't that funny. Great idea, terrible on the execution.
+Warrior if you search the "inside so ca"l and watch the original one they made before SNL it's so much better
Warrior The execution was awesome.
Their good neighbor skits rarely translate to SNL. I agree that this one in particular just wasn't executed well.
Kyle's delivery is so brilliantly subtle that you can actually hear the "woosh" sounds over the audience. Jonah is so good at these skits, too.
masterful
still waiting on that netflix inside socal full season
Erm, uhh...well, congratulations, or whatever.
Well, it's non really LOL type humor
It's so funny that phrases like, "Congratulations on you baby!" are so belaboring to utter, but "Big ole' taters" roll right off the tongue 😅
"All the Homies love your fatties" I'm dying XD
Fr a bit
He delivered that line perfectly!
yeah, but it's the reason we all wanna hook up with you or whatever
I died.... even though I dunno what it mean but I think I do hahahahahaahha
Bobbie's
"That right Todd. Indian food doesn't mean the cowboys and Indians, it means the Indian food"
I'm fucking dead.
I like this skit because you learn world facts 🌎 😂
The “aww” from the women when the guy was upset about the breast reduction surgery was hilarious IMO
That aww is a genéric sound effect added in post...you can hear it In that ellen page Mirror digital short many years ago when sanberg and page are about to touch each others finger
@@jaivas16 nah it happens a lot for pete davidson
@@elou.bunbunu just debunked urself
It's disturbing.
"I was actually wonderin about that" Classic stoner line

This clip is gold. They should release all of these on VHS
I live in SoCal and this is 100% real I can't stop laughing
Sane here, thus shit was hilarious. I guess maybe the audience isn't aware of how legit this is.
Big time.
Because you’re all trash just like this
uh oh, watch out, we got a billy@@bdiaz6081 here
Grey Matters choke on your In N Out burger bro
Kyle is from San Diego, people shouldn't be surprised at the accuracy of the skit.
Exactly
💯 As a native So Cal boy, these are the guys I grew up with. They nailed this person harder than maybe any stereotype I've ever seen. Bravo.
So cool that they got to bring their old youtube bit over to SNL! Keep killing it Kyle, and Beck!!!
+franalations fuck yes.
+franalations Totally, I remember this bit haha
if they showed it on SNL, it doesn't belong to them anymore.
franalations and
@DapperDan of course it does, their old shit will always be on the internet
Calm down man
As a San Diego guy, this seems completely normal to me.
that's like middle South SD and carlsbad. everyone in San Marcos, Vista, Esco, O-side is of diverse people and full of Mexican whom the border patrol got too lazy to chase after lol. O-side is a bunch of Samoans.
East County bros fo sho!
💪
This is completely the 858 to a tee
I thought Kevin was wearing a hodads hat lol
See you at Aaron's thing later. Probably heading there after Emily's thing.
If Emily's thing isn't tight or whatever, I hear there's a kicker at Keith's dad's condo...
I donno you're tellin meee!
The Hoax Hotel woah, nice seeing you here
word. I'll head over there after dealing Sean's crap.
It’s gonna be a total kicker dude
The SNL audience is too basic to understand the subtlety of Kyle's performance on this. How he keeps fumbling his lines - no one gets that it's the perfection of his character.
+speier I get it. Exactly. And I'm over 50.
We get it
Oddly, the original, pre SNL, was so much tighter, better edited, and had loads more material. This one is not as funny.
Everybody got it
Blastopolition Golden God the people in the audience didn’t really get it
This sketch was SPOT-ON me and my friends in high school (minus the baby).
+TheOldTomster Duuuuuude.... So righteous. Straight from SoCal San Diego, I endorse this duh bruh sketch... like TOTALLY.
I'm weirdly proud that we have our own patented breed of dumbasses.
I don't think this is necessarily limited to SoCal, I grew up in Western NY, and I knew a few people like this (maybe not the exact mannerisms, but the same attitude and dumbass mentality).
Love how he just sets the baby down right there lmao
that audience member "awww"ing at 3:14 has me dying
"I think he knows Aaron" this killed me
Reilly McDowell lmao killed me too
so fucking hilarious
See but when your sister's fiancé is the living composite of every one of these guys, this is more tragedy than comedy.
+B. Smith the humor isn't quite there for any brand new fan
Wilf Holyoak I'm certain those are words, but I've not a clue what it is you're trying to say.
+B. Smith deja entedu
+Wilf Holyoak fuck you brand new is the best
rip god bless
I love the dry humor in this skit. It is like a California version of the two radio ladies that Ana Gasteyer and did
with Alec Baldwing and his Schweedy balls. LOL
Delicious Dish meets Rigoberto's and dabs.
I would be offended if this wasn't 100% accurate damn 😂
lol
+GtaHorrorFan lmao thirsty fuck
+GtaHorrorFan A compliment? that is not a compliment.
+Alaina Beau look up chris fitzpatrick lol
I would be offended if this was actually offending
I live in Los Angeles. This is like every dude on the coast, Orange County, or Southbay....this is scary accurate.
+Kevin T Right!? Im from Nor Cal and I've literally seen/heard this exact same shit lmao.
KWIZ DOT very accurate, I live in Orange County.
So many South Bay surfers are like that hahahahahaha
Everyone in San Diego
South Bay el segundo and PV on Point
As a SoCal native I have to say This is the MOST spot on parody I’ve ever seen. This is too good. These are literally the people I went to school with. And other than these guys being all super douchebags, this could literally have been made by all my friends. My friends weren’t/aren’t terrible like these guys but from the outside I’m guessing this is what other people saw/see us as
Kyle's back to his roots!
I like your pug pic
this is genius. Really intelligent commentary.
Lool what? My lord you Kyle Mooney fans are insufferable, you're not special or smart.
I love these skits, but that might be cuz I'm a white dude from so cal and this is literally the dudes i grew up with. So funny
+wowthatsbs Too right
Keith (Jonah Hill) sounded like a skater dude from a Mexican neighborhood. #homie
Dammit if this isn't 100% accurate. I have to go listen to Sublime now.
lmao
Life is too short so love the one you got, breh
its that shit underneath my 👞
Same.
Are you a badfish too?
Kyle: *amazing joke”
Audience: •_•
Beck: *breathes*
Audience: 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
god I can't believe how far Beck and Kyle have come. I've been a big fan of them since the beginning when they were just making youtube vids in college. The original Inside SoCal vids are so hilarious. Can't wait to see what the future continues to hold for them
When Pete said "I can't do this" at 3:13... It hit me harder than it should.
That baby can't like drink or smoke or whatever
"Do you know Aaron... Hernandez?"
Yeah I heard he throws killer parties
this audience is too used to the regular formula of the skits. it's not their fault but it's a shame
+Giraffe If you have to try and prove something is funny, or tell people who didn't laugh that they didn't get it. Then it wasn't funny. I love the idea, but they could have done better. It is a crap version of Wayne's World.
Warrior This is in no way a remake of a wayne's world sketch. Wayne's world was wacky and cartoonish, and appealed to that sense of humor, whereas this is more direct satire of a stereotype.
Also there's no reason for me to 'prove' this is funny, because I never stated that was the objective truth. I was just calling someone out for stating it wasn't funny as though it was a matter-of-fact.
Frankly if I were going about it your way, the burden of proof is on the people saying this isn't funny, since that's the affirmative argument position. I don't want to debate humor though, because that's entirely subjective moreso than almost anything else, so I wouldn't try to tell people what to like or dislike
Giraffe Two dopes in a garage/basement living in their own world, with their own lingo, and using mini skits within the skit. It's very much like Wayne's World.
Warrior There's no skit within a skit here. It's satire on a small time local television news station run by socal brodudes.
It has similarities, albeit very general ones, but that doesn't mean it can't stand on its own in my opinion. I only meant to say that this wasn't supposed to reinvent or remake the Wayne's World sketch, it simply shares a few basic settings with it.
Giraffe Whatever, it is Wayne's World with people from Orange County.
Kyle does a great job representing SD
So happy for Todd it looks like he finally got out of his feelings n shit
"Hello World..."
+oakstwentyfive What?
+Jj Nelson ...go check out Kyle's original Inside So Cal videos...
Kyle, Beck and the whole GN crew keep it up! The haters don't appreciate/understand social satire enough to love this. Keep the creativity flowing!
This is more parody than satire.
The first name last name drops are underrated
"..by Evan and Nate Larkin's" LOL
haha i feel like not enough people pick up on that piece of gold
I keep coming back to this video. And the 'whats it like having a fucking baby' line is funny every time
I'm a born and raised socal girl and this is 100% accurate
I'm sorry.
Not accurate for where I'm from lol 😂
Do all the homies love your fatties?
@@thedirty_bird way to be patronizing..
This is exactly how Huntington Beach socal boys are
true, but they is always that fat kid that wanna fit in
Holy Carp. Grew up in HB and yeah that comment is accurate. And disagree about the fat kids. There was plenty of fat beer bellied stoners.
Went to school in Seal Beach. I was surrounded by these guys
My ex went to Edison high. Her whole family was just like this lol
Fucking Orange Country trash. Can’t wait for the big one to hit and send you fuckers straight into the ocean.
2:08 when he stands up and mumbles "alright" i lold so hard
It's more different.
as someone from huntington beach, everything about this is 100% true and im literally dying
'The least baller situation in recent memory' is objectively one of the best lines in SNL history.
😂I wish this became a regular segment. This was so well done.
one of the best sketches ever
The name drops are so accurate for some reason
FINALLY A NEW ONE! good neighbor and kyle are some of the greatest youtubers of all time
"This is one of the least baller situations of recent memory." I literally searched for this today in 2022 because of that one line. This entire thing is genius and I can't stop laughing.
This is weird because I live in soCal and I see the SAME FRIGGING THINGS everyday.
MAKE THIS A REGULAR BIT PLZ!
Omg that ending is actually kinda adorable
Anyone else feel like this directly inspired Real Bros of Simi Valley?
100%. That show is funny but kind of a ripoff.
_"At least you got to see them..."_ 😂
Jonah Hill fit perfectly into this Inside SoCal bit, super funny. So glad they get to do these still!
The sneaky “or whatever” when Keith walks out of the hospital room is hilarious
Least baller situations of recent memory
I laughed so hard at that line!
From LA and I’m crying over here. I know guys like this 🤣😭
SoCal guys holding a somber vigil in memory of Jessica's "big ol' taters"🤣🤣
Excellent as always. Don’t know how I missed this one, great 9 season run on SNL Kyle, thanks for all the laughs.
Because it seems so natural at first it’s probably not that impressive to some people but the details put into these characters is insane. I picked a similar nomenclature growing up in SoCal and let go of it mostly by now and Kyle especially is nothing like this so everything is though through. I’m just impressed.
Didn’t he live in San Diego?
I live in SoCal and yea we tend to talk like this. Didn't really notice it until later in life when people started pointing it out. It's all good though :)
Fernando Herrera I hope u treat women better tho pls, not like this 😰
That's so tight
Fernando Herrera it was scary reading this comment and then reading your name
I'm born and raised in Socal this is so accurate it's almost more scary than funny... absolutely brilliant I wish there were more of these!
Lmao fucking Evan and Nate Larkin. Idk why but that shit had me rolling.
Kyle's fucking stance when he's talking about Indian food is sooooo good
1:59 that little giggle is a great touch
Kyle looks so adorable holding the baby ✌️
as a san diego resident that went to a mostly white highschool, this is pretty accurate. 10/10
Where is there a mostly white high school in SD lol. The one I go to is really diverse
+Alec Joseph Clairemont five years ago was 52% white, 45% Mexican and 5% other
I'm south west of Rancho Bernardo. It's about 45% white 40% Asian and 15 % other (a good amount of which is Latino)
+Tomas Sakatani I thought you meant more like 65 or 70% white but 50% or so isn't too different from where I am
How's it only pretty accurate if it's 10-10?
"Why don't you put that baby away so we can hit this, dude?"
"Alright"
Plops kid on ground in the garage, walks away.
That is some absolutely perfect parenting right there! 🤣🤣
Beck’s absolute vacant stare is the cherry on top
Pete actually nailed it on this one. These are awesome skits
Keith’s character was so spot on and genuinely hilarious!!
beck & Kyle are the best, their skits are for sure the funniest. Never not laughing
Kyle looks like the definition of a San Diego white guy. LOL I love it!
Did he say Aaron Herandez at the end
Fernandez
Think he said "Fernandez"
Mendez
Hernandez
"firm ass dreads"
Jimmy tatro really went out and made a whole sitcom about an SNL skit from 2015.
Beck and Kyle were actually making these Inside SoCal sketches on youtube like 10 years ago. I like that Simi Valley show but they did pretty much jack the idea.
For a second I thought goodneighbors were back :(
I always loved how absolutely scathing these Inside SoCal sketches were.
lol the high white socks make it for me. all the bros used to wear them in high school. surprised they didn't go long boarding in this clip
I can watch this every day for the rest of my life 😂😂
i have never seen a more accurate depiction of southern california
They got almost everything. Just missing the ‘yeah no’ and ‘no yeah’ answers to questions.
The best cast members now are these two by far
"This is one of the least baller situations of recent memory."
LOL
Gotta show love for the Homies.
I’m a So Cal transplant living in San Clemente but was born and raised in CT and I love how accurate this is. East Coast and West Coast humor have super fkn gnarly differences.
the first and last name thing is hilarious. 100% accurate.
*Picks up baby, "Ehhh Greenie"
When you only shop at pacsun
I'd love to see more sketches in this style. Just so much fun to watch.
I love how every single one of them is wearing a Padres hat. True SD style
Their skits are so underrated
I would've never known where that new Indian spot was
It's right by Evan and Nate Larkin's house.
The crotch triangle at 2:16 is so real
Fantastic comedy. The delivery and the acting is perfect. I love this kind of humour.
Modern day Wayne's World.
I love at 3:14 how people in the audience feel pity for Jason when he decides to no longer smoke weed. XD
Thanks to these sketches I legitimately feel I have a better understanding of SoCal.
That audience member that went “awwWw” when pete said “I can’t do this”
