  • When the render is looking dirty on your home. When it is covered in Black fungi, red Trentepohlia or green algea. When it has a lot of lichen spots attached to the surface. There are ways in which the natural beauty can be restored and return the kerb appeal. Cold pressure washing is not advisable as that can cause permanent damage to the very soft surface. Pressure washing alone will not deal with the root cause of the problem because it only cleans but fails to kill any organic growth attached deep in the pores of the surface. With a combination of correct cleaning solutions to treat the root cause and the use of low pressure heated steam to remove any dirt from the surface, you will be able to restore the surface to a good and clean condition whist minimizing any risk of damage. The process remains the same for cleaning painted render, cleaning k-render, cleaning monocouche render. Kerb appeal can increase the value of your house when selling. Kerb appeal can be a powerful negotiating tool if your buying a neglected home. acleanerexterior.co.uk/

    That was an encouraging video. You cleaned a place in severe need and worked through the difficulties. The paving looked wonderful afterwards as well.

    Good Job I noticed you was using a gardiner pole what hose did you run through the pole and what about the nozzle where can i get one . I take it the Hotbox runs along side your pressure wash and you was using it on the lowest throttle

      That’s an old system now. Machine had a steam valve fitted to lower pressure and reduce engine for flow. We then designed and built or own machines.

      It is a briggs and Stratton machine. 30lpm with a steam valve. it will run 150c at about 5lpm when we need it. Digital thermostat. Machine built to our spec. All of my machines are one off builds

      A biocide maintenance spray application should eradicate the need for steam. Spray and go process.

    Would normal pressure washing not be sufficient ?

    • @acleanerexterior9238
      @acleanerexterior9238  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No. It would cause permanent damage to the substrate. You can see a clip where the client had made an attempt

    Hi guys, what nozzle did you use when steaming the dirt away and clean Fascias please

    • @acleanerexterior9238
      @acleanerexterior9238  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      All depends on the size of the pressure washer. In this case we had onsite a 25lpm machine which is way to powerful to clean render unless you fit a steam valve as we did. The machine was running on tick over to reduce flow rate and the steam valve adjusted to drop pressure. Pressure was around 60 bar and i believe the nozzle was 25040. Temp was around the 100c mark. We now run electric purpose built units with another new unit in the final design stages.

    do you have a plug in steamer?

  • @mralanvideo
    @mralanvideo 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Why no hypo etc all over then just tackle the worst bits with the steam as steaming is so sloooooow

    • @acleanerexterior9238
      @acleanerexterior9238  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I prefer to use less chemical where possible. The building still required steam with or without gallons of oxidiser

  • @russellbrooker2122

    • @tommaclachlan8537
      @tommaclachlan8537 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Russell Brooker We have a great range on our hotbox and the combination of steam valve on the washer allows us to tweak the heat, flow or pressure accordingly

  • @welshyyyyy
    @welshyyyyy ปีที่แล้ว

    What chemical did you use, was it a biocide or SH?

    • @acleanerexterior9238
      @acleanerexterior9238  ปีที่แล้ว

      Combination of both. Bio at the start of the job. Few days to work and then steam and oxidiser to remove the black stains. Patience is the key on the bad ones.

    • @welshyyyyy
      @welshyyyyy ปีที่แล้ว

      @@acleanerexterior9238 yes I think patience is the key, I did a similar one recently, Algoclear pro which cleared one wall really nicely but took two applications over two weeks, but one wall just isn't happening, I'm back there next week and will put a weak hypo solution on it, that should do it but it's frustrating when one bit looks great and the other just doesn't

      Does not need painting. Finished results was good as new. Once cleaned, it’s very easy to maintain. This type of clean is relatively new in the UK which meant that people didn’t know how to keep the clean. We give clear instructions on how to maintain the finished result.
