Great review of kava my friend! Just tried it for the first time yesterday after hearing that it's a good alternative for alcohol and really enjoyed the feeling! Tried kratom for the first time as well and gotta say i feel like Kava and kratom are gonna save my life! I've been drinking for 20+years and pretty steadily and sometimes heavily. I had no desire for alcohol last night after using these 2 medicines! Thank God there's better and safer things out there to help people with addiction..🙌🏼🙏🏼

I tried a instant Kava from a popular name brand. I used 2x the recommended serving size. I felt some numbness in my mouth. Taste for the instant was not great but not bad either. I took it a couple of hours before bed. I didn't feel much and what I did feel wasn't anything to report home about. It did not make me sleep any better and in fact was having trouble going to sleep, with may or may not have been due to the Kava. I will likely give it another shot another day and try multiple dosages over time to see if I get anything beneficial from it.

Hi! The effects I feel I’d equate to about 2 drinks. Definitely don’t feel drunk but a bit more relaxed and open
Most of the western products will suggest a dose lower than that at which you will noticeably feel the effects, however it is also very important not to eat before taking kava if you intend to feel the effects. if you plan to consume them in the evening you can eat lunch , a very small snack in the afternoon if you wish , and then you can eat something small again before consuming the kava to stimulate your digestive system if you need. the kava should reduce appetite as the effects take place but once the effects slow down and you do not feel the need to preserve them you can eat and you wont feel like you don't want to.
Great video, thanks. Do you notice a difference if you consume it on an empty stomach? Some people insist you don't eat 4 hours before consuming it. That's a long time and makes it hard to fit kava consumption in during the routine of an ordinary day.
Good question. It definitely feels stronger on an empty stomach. Though Im not sure the effect difference would be worth waiting 4 hours for. But I’d wait 2 hours after eating

Does this product cause liver damage? I read that it has been banned from a number of countries because of reports of liver injury because of it.
I tried those cinnamon Kava tea bags that they sell in grocery stores and it had no effect at all.
Its because theres so little in those bags, youll need a lot more
Yeah a standard dose is 25g of powder. Those bags may hold 1 gram or so

same thing, just naming convention; in some other countries it may be called sakau or 'ava.
Kava kava is typically used by low-quality products created by companies that don't understand it well. It's usually very weak and sometimes hepatotoxic. You won't feel much from most "kava kava" products. You won't find any native kava drinkers calling it kava kava. Make sure you're getting "100% noble kava".
It is supposed to be hard on the liver.
