Mark is like a time machine. He takes back in time when gaming was all about fun with your friends IN THE SAME HOUSE AND ROOM, not like today wheres its all about a blood war, flame wars, trolls and haters. Classic Game Room-The Game Room was always classic and I must say i've been a long fan since the begining! Nice reviews! I miss those good ol days. =(

Man. The Game Room starts off as a show that was never meant to be on fromUSAlive. When it's put on hiatus, it's the most viewed show on the network. Then, the DVD movie comes out in 07. Sells like hotcakes amongst CGR fans. Then, old eps reuploaded. More hotcakes. CGR Heavy Duty comes. Whoa, no more hiatus. CGR expands in '10. HOLY CRAP!
It's been a long time. The Pittsburgh-based empire WILL DOMINATE.
You forget that Cosmic Carnage was not back on earth at that time and so they couldn't be aware of it.
I found some old comic books once and they had ads for that 1997 George Clooney movie that is not Batman and Robin which I can't think of the name, but anyways, it was advertising that it was now on VHS and on all-new TV on Demand! Sweet!
Wizard was pretty cool back in the day. Along with their sister publication, InQuest.

This is the best issue because it has art by Joe Mad! I love Joe Mad's art. *tear* He did the art for Gekido and the US art for Marvel Super Heroes on PSOne.

Was Jim McLaughlin still doing the Magic Words column in that issue? That was my favourite part of Wizard. I still have a few copies, the oldest being from 1995.

Wizard was cool, and Toyfare Mag is/was cool, I had a T1 connection in 99 so I could watch your vids without waiting half a year to watch, , I had a Job where All I did was Make sure a Website was up, every hour , and the rest of the time I surfed the web , for 15 bucks an hour , best job ever

Loved that magazine in the 90s. The last few years, not so much. They really went downhill, which is why they no longer exist.
@MegaDarkFrog Yes, "funny and informative", as I said before, is some sort of review (James actually, most of the times, gives us a lesson on video game history), but with other things involved. My point is that, between the two best video game shows on the web (CGR and AVGN, in my opinion), CGR is the most complete.

@PlatformerKid AVGN is not a review show, nor is it meant to be, it's exaggerated comedy, I believe James himself once said the first few videos were meant as a sort of satire.

but sadly, now eBay has ruined pretty much all trade in baseball cards, coins, stamps, comic book, Hot Wheels, etc....because there are people selling them either insanely high or even down to 99 cents if you find them....i got lucky to find about 10 or 15 N64 games for 99 cents plus shipping and there was Conkers Bad Fur Day, GoldenEye, Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Pokemon Stadium and Zelda in the lot....shipping was only like $6

CGR is the best game review show on the web. Of course, there are other pretty good shows like AVGN, but there's a lot of acting and stuff included. If you want the best in-depht reviews, CGR is the way. The guys are fun (without pushing too hard) and they produce daily content. How awesome is that?

CGR is much more then just game reviews.
It's a coked up chicken who clearly has bad taste in video games.
Hence giving the new castlevania any screen time.
But that is what we love about it.
Also Cosmic Carnage was just to high up in orbit to be awesome in 2000.
