You really did fantastic Geebz, your a natural at this. Not sure if you've done anything like this before on your channel? As in "interviews" you could say, or talks with other people in the music industry?
I just wanted to say how much I've enjoyed the 1st half of this video, I'm in no doubt at all the 2ns half will deliver also mate.
No joke it felt like a Rick Beato video 🤣 I mean you kinda have a slight resemblance to each other lol... not a striking similarity but it's there lol. And your conversation with Misha felt very natural, great fun, both of you relaxed and most of all it was super interesting/Informative too! Everything you'd want from this style of video mate, you absolutely killed it! Like seriously the Rick Beato comparison is more based on the quality of the conversation than your similarities in appearance 🤣 And I think Beato is the 🐐 when it comes to this TH-cam based music analysis, reactions and other song related content. So me saying it felt like a Rick Beato interview... Trust me that's high praise from me, and well earned Geebz 👏
Congratulations on your continued success, your channel is one of my litteral favourites to go to, I'm always on the look out for your videos in my feed.

Hey just so you know, in regards to the part where you guys are talking about Mike Portnoy. His son Max is the drummer for a band called Tallah, with a lot of nu-metal influences mixed with modern metal. Definitely need to check out, L.E.D or Overconfidence.

Geebz man, I was so elatedly shocked that you had Misha on for an interview stream. That was super cool and it was even more killer to hear both of you talk about your lives and how y’all came to be what and where y’all are now. Highly fascinating IMO. You should do this more often Geebz.

Misha and the rest of Periphery are genius songwriters. Their ability to blend light and heavy while utilizing incredible technique and structure is amazing. Put some thought provoking lyrics with Spencer's voice and it's magic. It's like if an orchestra made prog metal.

@@TemalCageman but again, he is a great guitar player, at least in technique. Periphery songs are very very tough to play. For example I can play Polyphia songs if I practice them well, but I'm still not able to play Marigold's main riff at the right BPM. The ease with which he plays it in playthroughs always fascinates me.

It’s funny because I was more of a Nintendo 64 guy and really gravitated towards Koji Kondo. The guy wrote the themes for all the Mario and Zelda games and Misha talking about Final Fantasy 7 is very reminiscent of when I played through Zelda Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask. Music composers have definitely shaped me as a musician. I also have to shoutout Grant Kirkhope (Goldeneye and Banjo Kazooie) and David Wise (Donkey Kong Country and Diddy Kong Racing) All are such amazing composers for Nintendo and need to be recognized. I also have to shoutout Marty like Geebz did, the Halo theme is so iconic, especially when they got Steve Vai for Halo 2. And finally Masato Nakamura for his work in Sonic 2 on Sega Genesis. One of the beat video games soundtracks ever

A nice bike feels different thought. A nice bike wants to GO, and it’s difficult to explain it to people who have never ridden a high end bike.

Misha casually rocking the Sennheiser HD800S lol
In regards to Wildfire and the "quoting" of the Hades score among others in Zagreus put a big smile on our faces too.

Geebz these interviews are a pleasure to hear! Thank you! They've been very insightful and really fun! So glad to see you are able to connect with some of the heroes of our music world! Request for Dan Briggs as a guest! Between the Buried and Me's bass player. One of the best ever!

I recently saw in the past 6-12 months Misha and the boys commenting on Geebz’s stuff. I thought it was very cool. Here we are two hours of GOOD GOOD conversation. I could listen to you two on a weekly podcast.

This was awesome brother, and y'all seem to get along great. Misha is a really good dude, he's brilliant and knows his stuff like nobody else. I hope you continue to have chats with folks in the field like this moving forward! As always, keep it up, you do great work my man.

I'm so glad you brought up the orchestral section of Reptile, I was hoping the whole time you'd talk about it. So awesome to watch you two geek out about stuff I don't even understand, but it's great to see you both light up about this stuff.
Id love to see you revisit Reptile now that you're well versed with Periphery and metal in general. Would be interesting to see how things have changed since your original take on the track!

Loved this conversation. You two are both truly genuine people and it shows when you are together bringing out the best memories of each others lives and absolutely nerding out over trivial yet such meaningful details. So fun to listen to and I’m so stoked to hear Misha giving out his whole GGD library to a great person.
Much love and respect all around.

I really liked hearing what Misha had to say about video games music and creating music for the joy of it vs/ the end product
I didn't care much for music untill I started playing video games, some of it is so refreshing and different than what's played outdoors
