I came here to say that, it's hard to deny terror being one of the greatest or one of the two greatest hardcore bands of all time because of how long they've done it the amount of great albums and each and every show is epic. Sick of it all non-stop since 1986 best light Bannon hardcore best sound in Hardcore...@@samuelmagnum6047
Terror is the reason I'm into hardcore, and one of the reasons I'm alive today. God bless you Scott Vogel, for helping me turn pain into power, and staying one with the underdogs.
Legendary episode, cool to see Scott mention Vinnie Paz he's always been a huge rep of the underground from hip hop to punk to hardcore. He wore a KOTF hoodie and TUI shirt in the Cheesesteaks music video. Also shoutout Samiam one of the most under appreciated bands of all time!
As someone who lives in buffalo and grew up going to shows this show makes me very fucking happy. Been waiting for this since episode 1. I have never seen we WE NEVER CLOSE close ever. Solid buffalo corner store😂
My first HC show was Terror playing with Sick of it All and Champion in Seattle in 04. I've seen Terror more times than I can count. One time I was walking down the street in Berlin, Germany, and I spotted a Terror show flyer for that night playing with TUI. I ditched the person I was traveling with, went to the show and stage dove all night.
Hey Bo , I came up and said hi to u and James near the end of the HATEBREED show in Toronto. One thing about Scott I wanted to say is outta all the frontmen I like scott literally has All my respect , I had the pleasure of seeing buried alive in Hamilton Ontario a couple years ago, and he means it when he says it , he watches EVERY BAND!!!! I think that is so respectful to all the band playing. I have met him a bunch and always a solid guy!!!
@@rickenterkin7641 I don't think he mentions them in this video, but he did on another video where he was going through some vinyls, where he calls them one of his all time favorite bands.
My first hardcore show was a local lineup at all age venue called the Darkroom in Baton Rouge, LA. Was into it but not hooked yet. My next show at the same venue was Terror and Through the Eyes of the Dead. That is the day my life began.
Scott forgot to mention Khalil Rountree as a “secret core” dude. He just fought for the UFC light heavyweight championship, and there is a video of him grabbing the mic on stage at a Terror show. He was in a hardcore band himself. How about getting him on the podcast?
I saw Terror kill it in Newport, South Wales about 15 years ago. It's awesome to see Scott still bringing that energy and fire to hardcore. One of the best to do it for sure.
Scott comes off as the Everyman of hardcore. He just connects with everything he says. I remember getting a trustkill sampler in 2004 and it had terror and throwdown and shit was never the same.
Terror is the band that got me into hardcore. My buddy had a burnt CD that he put in and we went drifting his Explorer in the country and I was fucking hooked.
@@misterbaker9728 I love all those too. All sick bands. But I’m from the Tampa area so Obituary and Death are the hometown heroes for death metal. Morbid Angel is from Tampa too and Deicide
Whether he considers himself a punk or not, one thing I can tell for sure is that the crowd in Tolmin, Slovenia, sure as hell loved seeing Terror on stage. Universally loved.
Bo, the post Turning Point band is called Godspeed, the album is called Swimmer's Ear. You guys should have Jay from Turning Point on some time, he's a really nice dude and loves riffs :)
I met Scott at a Candiria and Bad Brains (Soul Brians at the time) show in Houston. He was on his way to California with said Chicago Girlfriend. I believe he was a but tipsy. Very intimidating but nice
the way i just last week watched the mini interview of him and wished to my friends there was a full length. and now there is. the hardcore gods have blessed me. now Matt Honeycutt and Aaron Bedard plz
1:31:50 it will forever piss me off that Sacramento and the surrounding region get left out of the NorCal tour circuit bands do rn as much as it does. Like yeah sure ignore the state capital that has a surprisingly big scene and drive 10+ hours to portland ig.
I just asked it too!! Maybe he’s left the X. But yeah it’s usually in the opener. Sound & Fury he didn’t play with em. Might be just too busy especially the other fellas
Hardlore W/ Scott Vogel is the only podcast you actually stage dive to.
I’m headwalking to it for sure
@@kaojoshi more headwalks!
fuckin lmao
Scientifically proven
Scott prepping everyone for the premiere of his podcast episode… “move up! Move up! Take two steps forward!”
Terror is the greatest hxc band of all time. Over 20 years of fire, best live sound in the game, and their energy live is insane.
Only a close 2nd to SICK OF IT ALL.. been around twice as long, play harder than any new band and put out zero bad records. Respect to Terror.

we need a playlist just made up of every band scott name drops
I second this comment 🎉
Elliott is one of my all time faves and just early emo .... vogel has neat taste

Keeping up with the bit of watching all episodes on 2x playback speed.

“I don’t know what that means, and I hope not.”
I’m gonna have to start using that answer…

3hrs of straight HARDLORE
Should be 25th Hour strikes
My first hardcore show was a local lineup at all age venue called the Darkroom in Baton Rouge, LA.
Was into it but not hooked yet.
My next show at the same venue was Terror and Through the Eyes of the Dead. That is the day my life began.
the Buffalo scene is an awesome scene to be in rn due in no small part to the support of Scott. thanks for having him on the show!!
Going to see terror tonight 👊🏻
I'm 19. Seen em twice. Intensity at an all-time high. No other band I've seen has as much energy as Terror.
Scott forgot to mention Khalil Rountree as a “secret core” dude. He just fought for the UFC light heavyweight championship, and there is a video of him grabbing the mic on stage at a Terror show. He was in a hardcore band himself. How about getting him on the podcast?

I listened to The New Scene interview with Scott yesterday and now this today. Can never get enough Vogel in my life.
Terror is the band that got me into hardcore. My buddy had a burnt CD that he put in and we went drifting his Explorer in the country and I was fucking hooked.
We need more Erie hardcore talk. Highly underrated scene back in the day.
DRI Gangreen and GOO GOO DOLLS show is absolutley insane how did no one in comments or even the show have anything to say about that
Heard Vogel mention elsewhere once he used to see Goo Goo Dolls in Buffalo back in the day play w Cannibal.
Goo goo dolls were on metal blade records back in the day😂 think they were originally punk or maybe a little heavier alt rock or some shit
I’m 47 almost 48 in Cleveland
I agree about seeing all the death metal bands 89 to 92 was amazing
90s was definitely the peak of death metal for me. I don’t think I’ll ever find a DM band I like as much as Obituary or Death
@@kaojoshiI really liked Entombed Morbid Angel and Carcass

What a legend. I would enjoy seeing Hardlore talk to Wristmeetrazor. They are a very unique band that cut their teeth in the hardcore scene.
