Yes, they look nice but for nearly a third of the money you can buy a Mayones that is just as, if not more beautiful and well built. Tbh if a guitar builder can get away with charging extortionate prices for their ‘master built’ guitars then they will. I own a VOLA that cost £1500 and is absolutely just as good as many Ernie Ball/Suhr models I’ve played for twice the cost.
There is a category of buyers who only buy things that are insanely overpriced, because that is commensurate with the rest of their lifestyle. If you can find a way to sell to these people, there is a lot of money to be made.

Trust me as an owner of 3 majesty's 1 being a bfr you want to have the Ernie Ball Majesty rather than the Sterling. I tried a Sterling once and it didn't stand up to the Ernie Ball ones. They are nice. However I really like the addition of the piezo's in the Ernie ball majesty.
Well, if the Sterling is all you can afford then there's not much of a choice... I have a pre-owned Sterling 7-String Majesty in arctic dream and love it to bits. Would I like the "real deal" at some point in my life? Sure, but this will tide me over nicely.
That guy playing straight pentatonic licks and out of tune bends in the background is so typical of guitar stores, god damn. You just know he pissed everyone in there off for an hour, then left with a pack of strings or some lemon oil for his epiphone at home 😂 Happy Birthday Legend!
when i went to ochanamizu guitar street in tokyo everyone was playing face melting hard rock licks. it was so different to shops i've normally been to.

I have a EBMM 20th Anniversary Majesty and it's flippin' fantastic - highly recommend it! Feels super ergonomic, plays well in any position, volume boost + piezo + push pull split on the middle position is great for versatility, and the floating bridge stays in tune perfectly well.
