When cool, prepare the glaze. Mash or blitz the raspberries with 1 tablespoon of water and the corn syrup, if using, into a puree, then pass through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the seeds. Add the raspberry puree to the confectioners’ sugar in a medium bowl along with the lemon juice and almond extract and stir into a smooth glaze, adding more water or confectioners’ sugar if needed to reach a thick but pourable consistency.
Pour the glaze over the loaf and allow it to set up before slicing and serving.
Glaze:
1/2 cup (60 grams) raspberries
1 to 2 tablespoons (15 to 30 milliliters) water
1 teaspoon corn syrup, optional
1 to 1 1/2 cups (130 to 190 grams) confectioners’ sugar
1 tablespoon (15 milliliters) lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon almond extract

Hi about the pound cake i just want to corect it 350 degrees for 30 minutes
Hi i notice you use regular sugar for the pound cake but if i would make it with swerve sweetner will it ruin the taste basically i would like to know is it better to use regular sugar than swerve sweetner for a ideal pound cake also is it possible to make this pound cake with minimal sugar will it taste just as good thank you
Hi i made a almond pound cake it was burnt from the outside and undercooked from the inside at 350 degrees 230 minutes i mix butter with sugarfree icing sugar vanilla bakingsoda sourcream almondflour one cup and i would like to know is it becauseof the icing sugar i did put two eggs i cannot understand why my pound cake did not turn out right please let me know what to do thank you
But how’d she make the raspberry icing :(
To me it looks like a simple royal icing which is just confectioners sugar and milk/water with some food coloring in it, but I'm not sure either I'm sad they didn't show it.
Glaze
1/4 raspberry
1 Tablespoon of water
1 tablespoon of corn syrup,
1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice
Mash it together with the fork and run it through a sieve.
1/4 teaspoons almond extract
1 cup to 1 & 1/2 cup powder sugar
Hi can you substitute salt with something else
