Always love the soybean side dish. Takes me back to my childhood, my Korean neighbors always had these flavorful dishes. I’ve learned a few recipes. We taught the neighbors how to make mash potatoes and fried chicken & gravy. ..Oh potato salad too.
That’s wonderful! We had an Indian family in a neighborhood when we first moved to CA. They became great friends and we would share our recipes with each other! I love Indian food! Thanks for sharing your story with me!
Love the simplicity of these dishes. Been trying to find ways to get rid of bean spouts before they go bad, so this video was perfect timing. Thanks for sharing!
I had to come back for round two and you did not disappoint! I’m excited to try all of them, but zucchini is my favorite vegetable so that one is definitely the winner in my book ☺️
I love how simple these side dishes are. I'm making (packaged lol) ramyeon for lunch and I'd love to have some fresh side dishes to go with it. The cucumbers from the last video and the eggplant from this video look perfect!!!
Thank you so much! Both the cucumber salad and steamed & season eggplants would be perfect with Ramen! :) Hope you give some of the other banchan too! Enjoy!
I haven't had most of these, but those stir fried fish cakes are surprisingly delicious. To me it wouldn't be as good if the peppers were sweet, so use spicy ones!
Hi Jane,Thank you for showing how to cook Banchan, For he cuttle fish it comes clean or it can used direct out of the packet and the fish cake should it be rinsed or soaked jcan you lemme know pls thanks
Hi! Thank you for watching! The cuttlefish can be seasoned, right out of the package! And,the fishcake do not have to be rinsed or soaked. Hope you try all the banchan! Happy eating!
If you were making a lot of different sides would you have a way of adding seasoning on mass rather than measured portions in small glass bowls, or was this layout just for the video.
Hi Albert, thank you for watching the video! I really appreciate it! I have the recipe with ingredients and directions for each Banchan in the description section of the video. I hope that helps. Thanks again for watching!
Yes you can! The only one I would definitely heat up is the pan fried zucchini. I reheat them on a pan. Everything else can be served cold or room temperature. Enjoy!

Is the background music Bad Idea by ASTRO Moonbin and Sanha ?
I’m not sure. My husband edits the videos. I’ll have to ask him what the music choices.
If you were making a lot of different sides would you have a way of adding seasoning on mass rather than measured portions in small glass bowls, or was this layout just for the video.
You’re correct. The measured portions were for the video. :)
