What Has Caused Germany's Downfall?

  • In this video I cover the incredible downfall of one of the most prestigous institutions in the history of football. Germany have been one of the most dominant forces in the great game since the early 1900's, a history that is chalk full of groundbreaking achievements and has propelled the Germans to being perhaps the most significant national side to come out of Europe.
However since their last World Cup triumph in 2014, the Germans have seemingly gone through a steady decline that has seen their spot as a global elite in every competition they compete in questioned as in recent years, Germany have failed to put it together and recapture the incredible work ethic, discipline and confidence that once was the epitome of their existence.
Join me in analyzing and examining just how Germany ended up here, where they've been knocked out in back to back group stages of the World Cup, truly exposing the depth in issues for Die Manschaft.
    Thank you for watching!

Because we’re too passive. Everything is side to side and waiting for an opening as opposed to pushing the pace. We have so much talent but no one outside of Musiala is willing to try and be creative.

The fact two players visited Turkey and signed a couple of shirts, or the team covered their mouths as a protest for 2 seconds, has got nothing to do with Germany's decline. Political point scoring as a protest of political point scoring, is just lots more political point scoring. Imo the lack of a goal scorer and an over reliance on ageing players is their problem. I'm expecting the Germans to turn it around very quickly.

There is a clear lack of motivation in the players and a defined philosophy it is looking like the Germans are in search of new identity. Talent is there the only problem is they are not clicking in a symphony. There is a good patch of performance and then some gutt wrenching rough patches.
